It is hard to believe that you step on to Barbati beach after passing through the garden gate and the blue sea is just in front of you.
Just open the gate at the bottom of a 1500 sq.m private garden (where is also a 35-ton drinking water tank to deal with water shortages ) and you’re on the beach.Just a little walk along from this beachfront villa and you come to a couple of beach bar/ restaurants. Just a walk up the hill and you find a number of great tavernas and a couple of supermarkets. Have fun with water sports Hire a boat and enjoy the glorious coastline with the many tavernas all waiting to help you moor up and then serve you a delicious lunch or an ice cold beer.
The villa is an two-floor building situated right on the Barbati beach a long (1 mile) beach with pebbles, awarded with the Blue Flag of the European community Barbati village ,one of the most popular areas of Corfu located in the scenic northeast coast, just 19km from Corfu town, airport and port lies at the foot of the highest mountain in Corfu, Pantokrator.Villa is a building, designed to preserve the privacy of residents. It is located on a seaside plot of land facing the beach and has its own private pool and a 1500 sq.m. absolutely beachfront fenced off child friendly private area of lawn and olive trees
Villa is set in an exclusive gated community, situated at the end of a row of three similar villas, with lush vegetation and tall trees acting as a natural border where needed.
The ground floor has a combined kitchen, dining and living area an open fireplace , 1 double bedroom with large wardrobe storage and 1 bathroom with shower cubicle . Glass doors open directly onto the garden and pool area.
The kitchen has fitted appliances including dishwasher and cooker ,microwave oven, as well as a filter coffee maker, toaster, kettle and everything else necessary for a comfortable stay.
The first floor has 1 double bedroom with large wardrobe storage with balcony overlooking the Ionian Sea, a twin bedroom and 1 bathroom with shower cubicle,
When you are on the first floor verandas, the breathtaking view leads you to immerse yourself in the deep blue of the Ionian Sea and embrace Corfu town beyond the horizon.
Bougainvillea, rose bushes,olive trees ,a small rockery and a pergola where you can enjoy alfresco dining and barbeque complete with a dining table that seats up to 8, all in a 1500 sq.m garden extending to the beach , creating a magical and enjoyable environment where guests can spend a few enjoyable days
The villa is equipped with wifi internet. A couple of sophisticated beachside restaurants and coffee bars as well as family traditional tavernas are only a stroll down the sea front.
Barbati is a village of contrasts, and attracts people of all ages, who love peace and people who love intense life, couples, groups and families.

Idyllic Place

I stayed at Cote Jardin Villa this month (Sept 2023) with my three sisters. We were enthralled with the location, the villa itself, the garden and pool area, in fact, the whole experience has left us with lots of wonderful memories, memories that we shall cherish, forever... The delightful host, Chris, was there to greet us and to show us around, he left us a fabulous 'welcome box' full of local goodies and a lovely chilled bottle of wine. He was on hand at all times to sort anything that needed sorting. However, nothing needed sorting, everything was just perfect. We were there for seven days and the bed linen and towels were changed half way through. The pool man also came twice that week to ensure the pool was ok. All in all we could not have been better looked after. I cannot recommend this villa enough, from beginning to end it was all perfect. My sisters and I were extremely reluctant to leave this beautiful place. Everything about it was definitely five star. The host was exceptional in his care and attention, nothing was too much trouble and he even checked in by message to make sure we were all ok. I would, without doubt, happily revisit Cote Jardin Villa anytime. Thank you VRBO and our wonderful host, Chris, for helping us make magical memories. Warmest regards, Lilian (Ball)

Fabulous villa!

We absolutely loved the villa and location , right on Barbetti beach. The villa is very comfortable and nicely decorated, the pool lovely and warm and the gardens are beautiful. There are a few lovely beach bars and restaurants on the beach which our teenagers loved and plenty of water sports to keep them entertained. We hired a boat from the other end of the beach and sailed around to Agni and to a gorgeous restaurant at Kalami beach over looking the sea where they help you moor your boat. We had an amazing stay here and Chris was very welcoming and helpful. We would highly recommend this beautiful villa and hope to be back one day soon!

Fabulous Villa & Location

Just returned home from a 9 night stay at this absolutely beautiful Villa at Barbati, Corfu. From the moment we arrived til the day we left we couldn’t have wished for a more wonderful stay. A beachfront location with private swimming pool and beautiful large colourful gardens, this Villa truly is the most perfect accommodation anyone could wish for. The Villa itself had all amenities that you need with 3 lovely large bedrooms, one with a balcony with stunning views overlooking the garden and beach. The Villa and grounds are very private yet there are restaurants and shops within a very short walking distance. Our hosts Chrispanaretos and Sofia Anna his daughter were exceptional and supplied us with lots of very helpful information on the area. We cannot thank them enough for making our holiday so special and memorable.

Just perfect!

We stayed at this villa for 2nd time and it will be not the last. Just perfect place for peaceful vacation. Absolutely stunning location- 50m from beach! Very welcoming and friendly owner, gave us lot of good advice about surrounding and restaurants.

Brilliant family location

Lovely property with an extensive garden and beach access. Hired a boat to explore the island from the beach. Great beach bars 100m away. Kids were entertained by the water sport facilities. Perfect for families as there is something for everyone. Loved the fact that the beach were frequented by local families, it gave the place a real warm Greek local feel. Highly recommend this property.

Beachside Retreat

Lovely location right on the beach. Just walk through the gate at the end of the beautiful garden. Comfortable for two couples and a baby. Two comfortable dining areas outside In quiet location for a tranquil holiday. You don't need to go anywhere else. Just hang out there for a week. Chris did everything possible to cater to our needs.

Sheer perfection.

The villa is in a stunning cove with amenities and activities a short beach walk away. The terrace on the top floor provides a backdrop for morning coffee/tea and evening ouzo. Beach is pebbles and it sandy so bring water shoes. Definitely recommend a day on the water by renting a boat with Sprios. His son, George, is funny, accommodating and helpful. Seeing the island by boat is a day to remember. The local tavernas are fabulous and you can sit and enjoy food and drinks with a view. Barbati Beach is a lovely area.

An outstanding place to stay, in a perfect position

This Villa is in a beautiful position, right on the beach and within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. The property was in very good and clean condition, with the outstanding feature being the garden, which has a lovely small swimming pool, and plenty of shaded areas for those wishing to get out of the sun. Full air conditioning and comfortable beds and furniture. Highly recommended, we are already discussing our return next year!

A lovely villa in a superb location right on the beach

We have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing holiday in Chris and Angela’s villa on Barbati beach. Being the school holidays it is probably one of the busiest times on the beach , which we were expecting, however ,that said ,the part outside of the villa was generally the quietest. Early morning walks along the beach and watching the sunrise over Albania were amazing and solitary. We did not bother with a car using the local mini mart and restaurants/tavernas which are all walking distance from the villa. We hired a boat from Spiros just along the beach from the villa and spent a day visiting small empty beaches along the coast. Chris and Angela were very friendly and helpful making sure our stay was as relaxing and stress free as possible, replacing the coffee pot within hours of it breaking! Overall a great villa in a perfect location for a relaxing holiday. We would definitely return in the future and recommend the villa for its beach location.

Amazing week in an amazing villa

We are just back from a fabulous week in Corfu. The villa has everything you need. The air conditioning was a real bonus as the weather was super hot! The pool is great and to be able to walk on to the beach at the end of the garden is such a bonus. The beach was fairly busy but not at the bit outside the villa and to the right. Lots of lovely restaurants on the beach and in Barbati itself. We hired a boat from George at Spiros boat hire right in the beach which is the best way to see the island. We had a super week, thank you Chris!

Perfect beach holiday villa

We had the most fantastic stay here. It was so relaxing, everything on hand within walking distance, great beaches with such clear turquoise seas, tavernas, shops and water sports. The villa is very well equipped with everything you need. It is also very quiet and peaceful despite being on the edge of the town. We really enjoyed our morning walk to the shop to collect the most delicious fresh croissants for breakfast. The pool is lovely with plenty of sun loungers to relax on. We had such fun hiring a boat from Spiros (who was so helpful and friendly) just outside the villa on the beach and going off exploring some idyllic beaches and wonderful beach tavernas. The only problem was our stay went too quickly. A week wasn't long enough!

Perfect location for a relaxing week by the sea

The villa is the ideal place to unwind and relax : comfortable house, spectacular views across the bay, friendly local tavernas and bars and a beautiful garden filled with colourful bourgainvillea, oleander, jasmine and pomegranate bushes and a host of butterflies. We spent a very enjoyable week in the sunshine, dipping in and out of the pool, reading in the shade and sitting on the upper balcony in the evening looking over the floodlit garden with a glass of wine and watching the stars come up.

The Perfect Holiday!

We were the first people to use the villa this season and had the most relaxing holiday we have ever had. Just Perfect. The villa garden and location is a little piece of paradise. I loved my breakfast on the balcony overlooking the pool and garden. There is plenty of space and interest for everyone. Teenagers happy with wifi and power supply in garden for their all essential phones and laptops for exam revision. Eleven year old content to spend all day going between the pool and sea and back again. Husband happy to snooze on sun lounger, there was nothing not to like about the place. We were there early April and the resort was not really open, most restaurants and water front activities were still closed for the winter which meant that we had the beach pretty much to ourselves , just a few people fishing and the occasional swimmer. Having taken the unusual step of not hiring a car, we had decided we wanted a relaxing holiday so we used the green bus service. It was great to let someone else do the driving and take in the views. There is a car hire service in Barbati and I think as we are definitely going again we would use them for at least a couple of days of the holiday to explore more of the island. Chris could not have been more hospitable and the welcome basket of groceries to get us started was a lovely touch. Hope he has availability in 2019 ! See you next year Chris.

An amazing place to stay

We booked this villa so that we could meet our daughter, son-in-law and two granddaughters before they left Europe to travel to India on their one year world tour. We wanted somewhere they could relax, the children could play and the parents have some occasional time to themselves. This villa exceeded our expectation. We hired a car and drove to the villa from the airport a short 12 mile drive north and were met by Chris and Angela a delightful couple who showed us around the villa and gave us the keys. The villa has three bedrooms all of a good size, two on the first floor and one on the ground floor all with views over the garden to the sea. One of the upper bedrooms has a large balcony with a table and four chairs ideal for sitting with a bottle of the local wine and watching the sun go down over the garden and sea, a fantastic view. There are two bathrooms one on each floor both with showers. The ground floor has a well equipped kitchen and a lounge area with a settee, table and four chairs. There is a modern spiral staircase to the upper floor. Off the lounge is a large open area with a table and chairs for six. This is open on three sides and under the upper balcony, we sat here for our breakfasts in the cool of the morning sun. The garden is huge about 80m by 40m and has six very old olive trees dotted about in the midst of which sits the swimming pool. This was great for the children and adults to play inn with a ladder down into the shallow end. During our seven day stay it was cleaned and checked at least twice. Also in the garden was a large Wisteria covered area with a huge table and chairs plus a garden settee and two arm chairs, the perfect place for lunches as it always seemed to remain cool however hot the day became. At the end of the garden a gate lets you directly on to Barbati beach, this is a pebble beach with cristal clear water, warm seas and fish to nibble your toes. The beach has four or five small tavernas all with their own beach area and several boat hire companies the closest of which offers a variety of water sports. This is all far enough away, 100m, to be quiet but close enough for convenience. The village is a very short walk up the hill with a couple of mini markets, a couple of bakers and four tavernas, every thing you need close at hand. We had a wonderful week with our family hardly leaving the villa and beach. Our grateful thanks go to Chris and Angela for allowing us the use of their villa

Lovely location, great garden

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely week at this villa in mid September to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The location was excellent with easy access to the long Barbati beach with its beach bars and walking distance to the village for basic shopping and restauarants. Spiros boat hire was very near to rent boats to visit the bays and restaurants further up the coast. The villa was very nice, with a large balcony, and there is a good BBQ and outside dining/sofa area under the shade of a wisteria bush. The pool was on the small side, but the garden was large and mature with some old olive trees - and at night when lit up it all looked amazing. Chris is a great host and very attentive. We hope to come back next year with the kids! John & Ros, Esher, UK

Fantastic week in beautiful Barbati!

We were warmly greeted by Chris and Angela on arrival. They had arranged a welcome pack of the essentials, so that we didn’t need to run off immediately to the local supermarket. The villa is super with three good sized bedrooms. Although the living space inside was quite small it also has a dining area on the outside veranda on the ground floor and an upstairs balcony, plus a really lovely seating area in the garden covered by vines and flowers. From the upstairs balcony there are fantastic views straight onto the bay, and you can see right across to Corfu town. A really lovely place to enjoy a drink in the evening. The highlight is the garden. A great size with a fabulous pool as the centre piece. We also liked the fact that there is a barbecue area outside. The garden is beautifully kept with an array of flowers, colours and olive trees, but the real privilege is having the gate that leads straight to the beach. It was great to be able to pop out and have a swim in the sea whenever we wanted. The beach is pebbly and the water very clear and inviting. There are two boat hire locations on the beach and water sports are also available. We used Spiro’s boat hire – very welcoming and courteous and nice boats too. Our daughters also went para-sailing which they thoroughly enjoyed. The location is excellent. Near enough for a half hour drive to Corfu Town (would highly recommend going), but also close to the spectacular bays on the North East coast of Corfu. Barbati also has a selection of bars and restaurants in the village, all very family friendly and welcoming and within easy walking distance. It has a local supermarket and a nice little bakery that sells very good coffee. We had a superb week and would definitely recommend this villa.

Excellent villa in ideal location

We spent a week at the villa over the Easter holidays. The villa is in as ideal location situated on the beach front at Barbati. The pool and garden area is very large and well maintained, ideal for children. Inside there are 3 good sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen and lounge area is compact but there are 2 further eating and lounging areas outside which gave us plenty of options during our stay. Overall an excellent villa and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners were welcoming and available throughout our stay should we have had any issues.
