This is a very nice apartment, in a beautiful old building, renovated, decorated and furnished by an interior designer, with a modern and elegant touch.
It is well positioned in the marsh area 5 minutes from the Seine and Notre Dame Cathedral.
Fully equipped kitchen, refrigerator, washing machine, dryer, microwave, towels, sheets, television, wifi ..., the apartment has two double beds and a wardrobe.
The kitchen is open to the dining area, equipped with an extendable dining table. The bathroom, renovated, has a shower, sink with mirror and a storage unit. This charming apartment is very well furnished in a contemporary spirit: you will find many works, paintings of Parisian artists as well as everything you will need during your stay: modern equipment (Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster ... ), very good bedding both beds and sofa bed. The apartment is quiet, bright and ideally located in the center of Paris.

Lovely place in the heart of Paris!

Our family of four loved our stay in the apartment! Its small, but well appointed and had everything we need. The location is ideal--right in the heart of the city and easy walking distance to lots of attractions. And its remarkably quiet and peaceful for the location

Perfect location but small

The location is really great with access to subway and lots of restaurants. The space is very small and climbing up to the loft bed is not so easy for older travelers.

Excellent Location

This apartment is in a great location between the 3 and 4th arrondissemente close to the Seine. For two people this would be perfect. We were three adults and did not feel comfortable using the loft as the stairs were steep and a bit unsteady. It’s too small to cook any meal comfortably but we made a cold breakfast and lunch there without problem. The beds were comortable.

Nice property, Great location

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the comforts of this small but well-furnished apartment. It's in a great location and faces an interior courtyard so is very quiet even though the area is not. The owner was very responsive and we were happy with the ride service he arranged for us. The description of the rooms needs clarification - the apartment is basically two large rooms separated by a wall with a door, so you walk through the first room to get to the second. The first room is set up as a kitchen/sitting area; a small W/C room is in it too. When you walk through the doorway into the second room, there's a queen size bed, and a door to a small room with a compact shower and sink. An open stairway close to the bed leads to an upper platform with a king size bed. The ceiling was not high enough for a tall person to stand fully upright. While this worked great for us, this is really a one bedroom apartment. The sleeper sofa is in the first room, but when you open the sofa to be a bed, you can call it a bedroom but you've given up any use of the room for common area purposes. The second room has 2 large beds, but they are separated by vertical space, not any wall or room divider.

A super apartment in a great location

My mom and I had a lovely 6 night stay, enjoying all the appliances available in this compact but comfortable and stylish apartment. The location was excellent both for walkability and access to transit.

Incredible location, gracious hosts

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. I cannot emphasize enough how good the location was — steps to the M1 and M11 metro lines, in the heart of le Marais. Easy access to all of Paris’s wonderful sites and plenty of places nearby for food and drink. It was also incredibly quiet at night for such a busy neighborhood. The hosts are lovely and helpful — they arranged a car to pick us up at the train station and were highly responsive throughout our visit. One note of caution for travelers with kids or on extended trips: the apartment is quite small. There are not two bedrooms, but rather 1 bedroom with a second bed in a lofted sleeping area. The living room/kitchen is also very compact. It is not a place to hang out or prepare meals. A classic small Parisian apartment. For us, with a young child and too much luggage, it was a little difficult to maneuver. But for a couple or those traveling lightly, it was clean and efficient. You are trading size for location and the location is unbeatable. You won’t be sorry you stayed here — we would love to come back without the kid!

Great Location

this unit was great and right in the heart of Le Marais and all the restaurants. If you like vintage and thrift, lots in the immediate area. I would recommend this for family of 3 or 4 max, no more. the space is very small but again, great location. host was very responsive. We used pick up driver option since it was good to have someone who can take you right to the rental. But it's not cheap so recommend using regular taxi service going to airport.

Excellent location

Family of four, 2 adults and kids ages 13,9. Excellent location! Quiet, clean. Tiny apartment (Paris is Paris) yet there are 2 queen beds so we didn't use the sofa bed - a huge plus. I am giving it 4 and not 5 stars as the apartment can use a touch of a couple more necessities like kitchen paper towels, extra kitchen towels, and other kitchen utensils. The biggest problem was that both air conditions didn't work. I booked the place precisely because I wanted an apartment in July with the option of having air-condition and ...it didn't work. It wasn't that pleasant at night after the place warmed up during the day.

Good location, great for a short stay

We were in Paris for 4 days with our children 9 and 12. The kids had their own beds which was great. The shower area stayed wet from all the water spraying out onto the floor. Other than that it was good, we had everything we needed and weren’t in the apartment much. The area was great during the day with easy walk to metro, restaurants and market. The nightlife in the area wasn’t for us but it was quiet in our apartment. The owners were very helpful!

Great, but.....

Positives: - Great location, tons of restaurants and other shopping as soon as you get out on to the street. - excellent communication with the host, - Felt secure the whole time we were there (need 2 codes for two separate doors), - very quiet, beds were not bad. - Kids loved the split level for their bed. Negatives: - Great for a couple but felt small for a family with 2 kids. - The bathroom only has a shower curtain for the shower and the water easily gets outside the shower area especially when kids are showering, it was a challenge to keep the bathroom floor dry. - Shower ran out of hot water after two people took showers, rest only had Luke warm water. - Was offered a paid taxi service from train station, but driver bailed at the last minute saying there was a strike. I took a taxi at the station and had no issues getting to the property.

Great location

Conveniently located near Hotel de Ville metro stop with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Comfortable beds. Just needed some hand soap, paper towels or hand towels for bathroom. Appreciated owner arranging pickup service from airport and to train station as we had luggage. Would stay here again.

Small but efficient Apt in Killer location

The good: - Location is perfect. Walkable to everything. In the heart of the action in Marais. Easy to get to the Isles (and Notre Dame is very close) and the other bank by walking and also over to the Louve. - Quiet - off the street apartment looking into courtyard not street. Excellent windows (there was some jackhammer construction on the street one day and we didn't hear anything with windows closed) - While it was quite small, the place had just about everything in a very compact and efficient space. - Owner was very responsive and extremely helpful. We stayed for 10 nights and they replaced towels for us too. Any issues were quickly resolved. He even ordered a car service for airport transport. Cons: - Mattresses and pillows weren't the best. I have a bad back and had some issues. The upstairs loft mattress is a bit better than the downstairs one. - Listing said washer and dryer. There is no dryer (which is common in EU). - Couch is not very comfortable. Very small - fits 2-3 people) And squeaky. It's a sleeper sofa but if you really wanted to fit 6 people in that apartment it would be very crowded. - Toilet room and showers were both very small. I am 6'1 and it was a tight fit. Manageable though and good water pressure and plenty of hot water.

1st Time in Paris

We absolutely loved the location of our property. Super close to all the restaurants, cafes, shopping, train and historic sites. We had everything we needed in the property and had a fantastic time.

Parisian adventure

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is located in the heart of the Marai district! It was so easy to navigate the city. The owners allowed us an earlier check-in and set up a private car for our departure to the airport. We would highly recommend this property.

Apartamento muy bien ubicado

El apartamento está muy bien ubicado,es pequeño pero para una familia con niños está bien,con cocina pero casi sin espacio para poder comer,es un segundo piso sin ascensor,pero para tres días es muy recomendable por su ubicación.

Apartment was in a good location In Le Merais. It was a bit tight for four people and limited with towels and some musty odors. Host was communicative, and we only had to wait ten minutes for his spokesperson’s arrival in order to check in. There are a lot of options, and I think we could have done better for the money and service.

Location can't be beat

As Americans, we are used to having some space in our homes. As long as you temper your expectations regarding the size of the flat, you will be fine with this property. It is a walk-up on a European 2nd floor - which means third floor to us across the pond. Not really an issue. The apartment is perfect for a couple, and tight if you have more people - even with the additional sleeping areas --- just super tight. It is very quiet, so once you're back at the flat, you can relax and not have to deal with city noises. You really can get a good rest. The location is fantastic. We walked pretty much everywhere, with the exception of getting to the Eiffel Tower and Versailles for which we took metro/RER. Lots of good shops, places to eat, tourist attractions are within 10-15 minutes at leisurely waking pace. Vincent was very accommodating to our family, even when we requested a change to our itineray resulting from a change to our travel schedule. We recommend this property without reservation.
