This large, 3 bedroom villa is the most spectacular in the popular Anfi Tauro complex set in the quiet and idyllic Tauro valley. It is the closest villa to the sea with the best views, particularly the sunsets. Hop in the new hot tub and enjoy the amazing sunsets.

Imagine waking up to the sounds of tweeting birds as the sun rises over the golf course beside the villa. Take a dip in the private heated swimming pool then relax in the beautiful garden with uninterrupted views of the sea. When you are up for it, brew some coffee and have breakfast in the garden. Plenty of time for golfing or sunbathing later.

The unique beauty of Villa Carmela is it is the closest villa to the sea in the whole complex and is not overlooked so offers uninterrupted views and complete privacy.

The garden gets the sun almost for the entire day so if sun worship is your goal it is perfect. However, if you prefer the shade we have plenty of outdoor space that is covered and shady. You will find fantastic uninterrupted views over the Atlantic ocean and the 4th green of the golf course.

We provide free Wi-Fi internet access and we have a media box that provides all UK and Scandinavian TV channels.

There are large picture windows and full length sliding doors that afford exceptional sea and golf views from inside the property.

There is a stunning garden with a webber gas BBQ, a private heated pool and an outside shower....

Air-conditioning installed throughout villa including a "quiet" mode for sleeping. The whole villa has recently been upgraded and refurbished at substantial cost so it really is the best villa in Anfi Tauro.

In the master ensuite bathroom there is also a fantastic jacuzzi bath so you can really relax and get into holiday mode.

Highest quality comfortable bedding and mattresses so you can fully relax and enjoy a great nights sleep.

The complex also has 2 common swimming pools which guests have access to (one which is heated).

There is also a large Spar supermarket and a nice grill restaurant next door - Tauro Grill. They are well renowned for their BBQ's.

Anfi Tauro is the perfect place to kick back and relax with family and friends.

It is perfect for families and we can provide baby cot, high chair and push buggy for the kids :-)

We highly recommend renting a car for your stay as there is so much to explore on this fantastic island. It is so much more than a beach and sun destination and if you take a trip up the mountains you will have amazing views of the volcanic landscape. You can eat in cave restaurants and enjoy traditional Canarian cuisine away from the tourist traps. There is room for 2 cars to park right outside the front door.

But if you want to explore more then we can recommend Palmitos Park, Aqualand, Angry Birds Park, Sioux City and many other attractions. Afrikat is the best boat trip to go on and is a great day out. We provide loads of information to our guests about activities, restaurants and tours through our detailed information pack that we send to all guests.

Villa was perfect . Plenty of room indoor and out for 7 of us. Great views from the garden. Hot tub a lovely touch. Good restaurant and Spar shop within 5 min walking distance. The villa was very clean and all amenities were as described. Villa a short taxi ride to Peurto Rico which has a good shopping centre and plenty of restaurants. A lovely place to stay.

Holiday at Gerards villa

The property was as described with all the facilities you could ask for.The hot tub and the heated pool was excellent.We would definitely recommend this villa for a holiday.Our host, Gerard, was superb, before, during and after our stay. Gerard's communication was excellent, where we received detailed information on the area, things to do, restaurants and villa facilities.

We had a great stay, the property was great for us, Ger was a great host, both prior to our stay and especially taking time to welcome us and show us around the villa. Jacuzzi was great, as were the hot showers and Uk TV channels.

Super villa

Villa Carmela is a great holiday home in a lovely location. Gerard was a joy to deal with throughout the booking process, met us on arrival and then helped with our departure. The villa is very spacious inside and out. It is very clean and has all the facilities you need for a relaxing holiday. The shop and restaurant on-site are great and very useful. Taxis are cheap and easy to get to go anywhere you need to. The villa captures the sun all day and the pool and hot-tub are great to cool down in. Would thoroughly recommend.

A Perfect 5 star Holiday

Villa Carmela is amazing. It’s in a superb location with uninterrupted views over the golf course and the sea. It is a spacious, stunning and immaculate property and very well equipped. There is a lovely heated pool, hot tub and a superb Weber barbecue. There is a fantastic dining area with sliding doors that brings the outside in. Gerard was the perfect host and a very likeable guy and makes a great effort to ensure his guests have a great stay. Would definitely recommend Villa Carmela and we will definitely be back.

A lovely property with all we needed for a three generation holiday

The property is well maintained and equipped. For our family of grandparents, parents and two small boys, it was ideal. The small pool, with a great supply of pool toys, was just right for our four year old. We loved Tauro beach, which is accessible on foot. The Bar Pio Pio there is good for drinks and a tapas lunch. With a short drive, we could reach other, more commercial beaches as well as good supermarkets. Palmitos Park is an excellent day trip. Our only very minor complaint is about the house description. There was no mention in advance of the restrictions on the use of the hot tub - no children and no drinks! However, this is a small point, given the many advantages of the villa.

A fantastic villa

Villa Carmela provided us with a dream holiday. The location was perfect - quiet and giving lovely views over the golf course to the sea. The interior was spacious , spotless and furnished to a very high standard. The heated pool is surrounded by grass making it a very safe place for the elderly and the young - no slippery tiles. Tauro Grill - a five minute walk - serves excellent food with efficient and friendly staff. Amadores beach - a five minute drive offers a choice of Restaurants- Blue Beach being our favorite. Having rented many villas through the years Villa Carmela was definitely the best . We look forward to returning.

Lovey, relaxing week in a great villla

We had a great week (family of 4) at Villa Carmela. It is the best villa in a super location on a wonderful golf course. Inside fantastic, spacious living areas, very comfy en-suite bedrooms and great TV/video on demand. Lots of nice touches around the property. Outside a good sized garden with plenty of room for 5 loungers, a fun warm pool, great views out to sea over the golf course, and sun from 10am to 7pm (February). You need a car. Recommend eating at the local Tauro Grill (friendly and good value). Also good fun at the nearby par 3 golf course. Communication with the owner and local help was fantastic. We are already talking about returning

Luxury and tranquility

A stay at Villa Carmela is a first class luxury holiday with great facilitates and a location that is beautiful and peaceful. Beaches and shops are within easy reach and we enjoyed a great time exploring the area. Ger's hospitality and service is second to none. Highly recommended.

We spent two weeks in the middle of September at Villa Carmela and had a really enjoyable stay. The villa is really lovely, one of the best we have stayed in and there was everything needed to make it feel like home. The photos on the website are just as the villa is, not at all misleading. Ger was always on hand if there was a problem and Heather, the airport taxi lady, was most informative. Despite Ger's misgivings about getting a taxi to and from the villa, once the taxi company had picked us up the first time, we had no problem and now Villa Carmela is on their radar! Dead cheap too so we didn't bother to hire a car. The two local restaurants, Guatanamo and Tauro Bar and Grill are a ten minute walk across the golf course and are really good; portions very large, the Mexican Coffee is a must at Guatanamo. We met the two resident lizards along with several gekkos and luckily no mosquitoes. We divided our time between the villa and Amadores beach, which is wonderful. The pool is a bit teeny for swimming but big enough for three adults to cool off in. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay and will definitely consider returning. Only one complaint - the weather in the middle of our stay was TOO HOT - mid 30s!!!! Sally & Mike (Kent)

High quality and spacious villa, ideally located

Villa Carmela is almost certainly the best of various villas we have rented over the years. Ideally located at the end of a run of smart villas within the Anfi Tauro golf complex, it is totally private and has uninterrupted views across the course to the sea beyond. The rooms are all large and well furnished, the air-con units are both effective and quiet, and the whole villa is very well equipped indeed. Perhaps the garden pool is a little smaller than we're used to but then there's a much larger shared pool within 100m walk. It's just 5 mins drive both to a super new Mercadano supermarket and also to the excellent beach and restaurants at Amadores. The fast coast road makes exploring the whole island very easy and, whilst perhaps not as attractive overall as Lanzarote, we found some great sights to explore. Highly recommended.

Beautiful villa in a lovely Setting

Just back from a week in this lovely villa. The villa is extremely comfortable with luxury furnishings. All the rooms are big and the beds super comfy. The position of the villa is probably the best on site with the best views. It is very private and the location lent itself to some fantastic star gazing every night we were there. The estate itself is very pretty with a great communal pool, restaurant and spa shop. There is a really pretty beach in walking distance and plenty of excellent restaurants near by. The communication we received before the rental was superb. We would love to return and highly recommend this villa.

Just perfect villa

Perfect villa with all the equipment You need. We stayed one week at the villa with 4 adults and 2 children. The villa was very clean, tidy and spacious. Even too much space for us ;) Ger has arrenged baby high chair, bed for the baby and even stroller, even we didn't ask for that! In the kitchen there was everything You need, and the own pool was just perfect! Water was warm, and the children couldn't stop swimming and playing at the yard. There were also lots of toys and swimming toys for children. We didn't have to buy anything, just the food. The nearest beach was small and quiet, no massage-guys or sellers at all... We had a rental car, and I think it's the best way to move around. Contact with Ger was easy and fast with e-mail or Whatsapp. We'd like to come again, of course, if it's possible :)

An excellent place to be in February

This is a splendid villa, very advantageously situated. It lives up in practice to the description online, and was in no way disappointing therefore. There are coastal walks nearby, a sandy beach within ten minutes walk and a good restaurant close at hand, the Tauro grill (try the steaks and the padron peppers). What made this venue stand out in my opinion, from some of the other places that we have rented over the last decade was the amount of assistance and non-intrusive guidance that we received. For example the description of the route to the villa from the airport was so clear and precise that it enabled me to find it without hesitation. And that was driving a hire car from the airport in the dark! Ger always answered any query we had before the trip very quickly, and was on hand at arrival and departure to provide any help needed. Added to that there was a handbook which answered any question I could think of with regard to activities, shops restaurants and excursions. Everything was done to make a success of our stay. Luxury Villa - Luxury Stay!

A beautiful 3 bed, 3 bathroom Villa, with what I would say is the best position on the site. Private with great views. Loads of room inside for six adults. Huge open plan living room and very well fitted kitchen. Huge bedrooms with a jacuzzi in one of them. Double sinks in all of them with the best shower I've had in ages - as powerful as you want. Sliding doors to the garden area with good garden furniture and a good sized plunge pool. Great communication from the owner throughout our booking and during our stay. A very well stocked Spar shop 5 minutes walk away - freshly baked bread every day. We didn't even bother with a larger supermarket as it also had a great drinks selection and all at really good prices. The Tauro Grill next door to the shop served amazing food. If you order the Bullock Chop, prepare to be amazed! BBQ'd to perfection. Villa Carmella is totally and highly recommended. Best villa my wife and I, along with our friends, have ever stayed in. A holiday break in style!

Great villa, just what we needed

We stayed here in mid October 2017 and loved it. The villa is great, very spacious living area and kitchen. The villa has so much to offer. Our family had five adults and two children (aged 6 and 4). Despite having seven of us staying at the villa there was plenty of space. The pictures provided on the site are a true reflection of the villa. The amenities at the villa are really good, just like a home from home. Lots of different crockery and kitchen utensils if you want to cook. Ger is great in both the lead up to your stay and also during your stay. A lot of thought has been given to make your stay enjoyable and easy. Lovely touch to arrive with some milk and a few other groceries waiting in the fridge for us. The kids loved the pool and it is heated and warm. They also loved the crazy golf by Amadores beach. Villa is in good location and Puerto Mogán is lovely for dinner with lots of options of restaurants. Highly recommended. Thanks Ger.

Surrounding area very appealing, Puerto Rico lively nice beach. Although not for everyone. Puerto de Morgan is a must, restaurants are fantastic. Great accommodation, would happily recommend to others

The accommodation was everything it promised in the ad, it was very well looked after, well equipped throughout, and we had a fantastic stay at this villa. Gerard was extremely helpful throughout our booking and during our stay here, nothing was too much trouble. The local are had some great restaurants, all easy to get too. You do need a car to see the area but easy to get around on good roads. If you like golf it's very convenient too. A great view down to the sea from the garden made it very private and not overlooked in any way. Overall a great property which I would happily recommend to others. Thank you for a great holiday!

But I am based in Gran Canaria most of the time these days. I have been doing this successfully for many years and take great time and care with my properties. I also am an excellent communicator and keep in touch with all my guests on a regular basis, before during and after their stay.

I get fantastic reviews because the properties are amazing and I add the personal touch to the whole process.

I also love to travel and I have been to so many amazing places but still haven't found a place that can rival Gran Canaria. The weather is perfect for the WHOLE year and there are so many interesting places to visit and explore. It's also the perfect destination for being healthy and getting outside to get some exercise and inhale clean air. Driving up the mountains is always a great day out and they have great history. Most of the towns have their own museum if you want to know more.

The beaches are fantastic but I do love heading up the mountains to an open air farmers market, sipping a "Cortado Largo" coffee and just listening to the sound of nature. Oh, and do not forget the amazing star show every night..... just look up......and happy enjoy.

When we are not staying there, it's available to rent but we ask all our guests to treat the villa like your own home :-)
