We enjoyed the cabin very much! We were very comfortable and the cabin had everything we needed. The owner allowed us to check in early which we really appreciated. The area was great and we loved the hiking trails that were nearby.

Clean, Need more firewood.
Cabin was nice and very clean. I wish they would have had more fire wood. I was told to use the heater to warm the cabin but a fire is the experience and the comfort of a cabin.
Wonderful check in process and great host. I would only note that this property does not have AC. Which thankfully was okay since the weather was great. The drive way was a bit of a challenge. But again, this house is just as lovely and our host was extremely great. We would stay again! Also great selection of movies and games.

Cozy cabin is a real gem!
We came up to the cozy cabin for a weekend getaway. This is a beautiful cabin with lots of charm and antique decor. The bedrooms were quite spacious and the the beds were super comfy. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, coffeemaker, stove, fridge, and microwave. We also enjoyed the fireplace on cold nights. It is a very short drive into downtown Flagstaff (about 10 minutes). We are already talking about a return trip to the cabin. I would highly recommend this sweet cabin!

Very nice cabin
We stayed here for 3 days and enjoyed the perfectly clean cabin in the pines. They had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. I only wish the outdoor grill was gas because no charcoal could be purchased secondary to the bans in place. The full hummingbird feeder was definitely a plus, as they whizzed over our heads all day! If you are looking for seclusion, this is not it, as there are many houses surrounding this property. Fortunately, even with many neighbors, the area is quiet and peaceful.

Great place to stay just outside the city
My wife and I decided to take advantage of her 3-day weekend from teaching and take a trip to Flagstaff. Rather than doing the usual hotel that can be hit-or-miss, I wanted to do something different, so we settled on renting this nice cabin.
We arrived Friday night, a little cold and with some freezing rain. The place was inviting and warmed up very nicely. The cabin was very spacious and the master bedroom was enormous.
Everything about the cabin was really nice with the snow that fell on Saturday. It made for a beautiful place to spend a few days. Very easy to get to Flagstaff and Sedona and a nice place to relax after a drive up to Snowbowl.
While I generally loved everything about our stay, and would probably stay here again, being relatively reliant on technology, I was a bit disappointed with the internet service. This cabin is about a half mile or so outside of any reliable cell service area, and the internet connection is DSL which, at this distance from the city, was extremely slow. I survived, but I know how the turtles in the Cox internet commercials feel. :)
Aside from that one VERY minor concern, this was a great place, and the next time we take a trip without the larger family (including dogs) we will look it up again.
FYI: Fully stocked with dishes, cooking utensils and kitchen appliances but we didn't make use of them as we had to make our usual stop at Big Foot BBQ and found Bodacious Burgers in Sedona. If we'd wanted to cook, though, it looks like we had anything one would need for preparing a meal (outside of groceries, of course).
Also, the owner was very pleasant in helping us set up the reservation rather last minute.
Great place, great service, it doesn't get any better.
The cabin was in perfect condition, very clean and comfortable. We were able to unwind and relax, enjoy coffee each morning on the patio, do some hiking, watch alot of movies, cook some wonderful meals and just enjoy the company of my mom and 2 sisters. We would stay here again for sure if the opportunity arises!
This cabin was the perfect place for me and my two children. The kitchen was perfect and everything one could ask for. The wood floors and decor were lovely! I highly recommend this cozy cabin to those who want a relaxing time. The nearby hiking trail was great too!
We had a WONDERFUL time in the Cozy Cabin. The location was just great - out of the larger city but only 15 min drive from all the yummy restaurants. The cabin was small, but perfect for our family with a 2 and 5 year old. Luckily we had snow and it was perfect to get in all the gear and just walk outside to play. There was a larger sledding area 2 min drive down the street as well. The cabin was well stocked and Maureen was extremely accommodating. She responded back within minutes. Impeccably clean, she takes COVID precautions very seriously. Well-stocked kitchen as well. Our children LOVED everything about it. Inside the cabin you'll also find at least 100 DVDs and VHS movies across all genres. We hope to be back next year!
Very nice, super clean, very comfortable beds, and the stream flowing close to the house was a surprise treat. Enjoyed the nearby hiking trail recommend by the owners. Great all wood cabin, highly recommend it!
We stayed in February to celebrate my little brothers birthday. The cabin was clean and just what we needed. It snowed the entire weekend and my brother had a blast sliding down the driveway. We hope to be able to book again next winter.
Wonderful cabin in a quaint little neighborhood. The cabin was extremely clean and stocked well with everything you would need. Just bring your own food and you are good to go! The location was perfect too. We would definitely return and recommend highly!
We very much enjoyed our time at the cozy cabin. It was perfect to explore in either North or South directions. We loved Flagstaff and Sedona. Enjoyed the fall weather and colors. We hope to go back soon.
Interiors were very cozy and charming. Old world feeling with the wood burning stove. Windows and little patios for early morning coffee made it special.
Minor suggestions: Front yard needs maintenance to get the full impact of the property in the woods. More dishes in kitchen would help .
My wife and I enjoyed this comfortable retreat in between planned hikes in the Flagstaff area. The home is truly cozy an the layout was a great fit for us. The wood burning stove was a nice way to warm the main living area and provide ambiance, the beds were comfortable and we loved star gazing on the deck. We found all the instructions easy to follow and would enjoy returning again in the future.
My husband and I looked for a cabin in the Flagstaff area for a long time. This cabin was perfect for us and lives up to its name! Upon entering, the cabin seems to say Welcome Home! It is extremely clean, well appointed and has little homey touches throughout. The beds are comfortable, and there are lots of towels. We spent a lot of time on the big deck watching the birds and enjoying the flagstaff weather! Maureen and her husband were so helpful, and easy to communicate with. It’s location is in a great spot for hiking, touring, shopping and dining!

About the host
Hosted by Maureen Zavala
Being Arizona natives has given my husband, Adrian and I an opportunity to experience so much of what this beautiful state has to offer. We love it here! The diversity between the desert lowlands, the northern pines, the beauty of Sedona, and the breathtaking awe of the Grand Canyon are what make Arizona unique. We love hiking, photography, ethno-botony, sunshine and snow, all of which are abundant here.
Why they chose this property
We wanted that special place you bring your family to make memories. Not just a place to hang your hat, but a place to hang your dreams, experiences, and create special moments that linger a lifetime. We love the coziness of this place. The intimate settings in the backyard, the quite, the peacefulness of the gardens, as well as the heaviness of the snow laden trees in winter. The closeness of the seasonal stream and the easy access to the trails without leaving the neighborhood, along with the cabin "feel" of it all have made this the perfect setting.
What makes this property unique
We love the country feel. Being close enough to town to enjoy the community, yet being tucked away into the forest setting make this cabin truly unique. You can spend hours hiking Pump House trail, just steps from the cabin, where you are totally immersed in the beautiful forest. Flagstaff is just 6 miles north if you want to head into town for dinner, or grill on the deck and never leave the cabin. The view from the table is so lovely; snow laden trees in winter, flowers in spring and summer months.
