My husband and I had to book a one night stay at the last minute to attend a funeral. Our host was gracious, provided all the information we needed and was so thoughtful, offering condolences and was responsive to texts. Street parking in front of the apartment door was available and convenient. We had the 1st floor to ourselves (the caretaker and family live above) and it was a quiet and comfortable stay. Two roll away beds made it convenient to double up our kiddos who didn’t want to sleep in a bedroom alone. My kids enjoyed the individually packaged snack/breakfast items and the full coffee bar was well stocked with everything we needed, including an electric kettle. There were PLENTY of extra pillows, blankets, and towels for our family of 6. The giant open living/dining area was great when my six year old needed to get his zoomies out. We ate dinner locally at Señor Barriagas Mexican Restaurant which had large portions of flavorful food and excellent service. We had a great experience and recommend the apartment and town!
This hidden gem is truly something! Spacious enough for family gatherings, cozy enough for 2. The history of the space has been preserved so well & The owners give you little snippets of the area history all around the home. We always look forward staying here!
Your place was excellent for our Christmas gathering of our family. The place was spacious and comfortable. We loved the open space in the living room/dining room. Thanks for the coffee and snacks!
We rented this property to attend a family wedding. We could not be more satisfied! The property was historic and very charming. With plenty of bedrooms and additional sleeping areas if needed. The host provided a large of array of snacks and and there was a large comfortable area for the family to gather. The property is located very near the main Square in Savannah. Perfect walking distance to shops and restaurants. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. We highly recommend this property and would be happy to stay there again.
This is a very quaint and charming building, It has a historic vibe, while also having all the modern things you need for a great visit. The owner was really great and very accommodating.
Would recommend!
Where do I begin? This building is BEAUTIFUL! We love historical buildings and this has a lot of the original charm and it is in great shape. The big room is BEAUTIFUL! The ceiling is beautiful. I want a home like this. Each bedroom was comfortable and welcoming. The closets were a good size and the home was well stocked with blankets, towels, cleaning supplies, soaps and shampoo, etc. The beds and pillows were comfortable and did not have stains. There were movies, YouTube TV, and a few games. The couch was big and so comfy. We didn't want to leave. My teens were very impressed with the drink and snack bar and ate all the snacks. We also enjoyed walking around downtown and eating at the Mexican restaurant.
The home was incredible! So clean and spacious with everything you could need. We plan to book for a family Christmas very soon & this will be our “usual stay” when we visit the grandkids!
Greg’s place in Savannah is cozy yet very roomy! The amenities are great -can’t say enough good things about it!! Third or fourth time we’ve stayed and we will be back!!
We were attending our daughter's graduation from Northwest Missouri State. It was my husband and I with both of our Mothers and my best friend. This place was absolutely perfect! Everyone was able to have a bedroom and the living area is HUGE! We spent the whole weekend and would have loved to stay longer. Such history in the house and the town square was amazing! Highly recommend El Ray Pappis Mexican restaurant. The tamales were Awesome! Greg was the perfect Host. He had snacks by the coffee bar and also put bottled water in the fridge. We could not have asked for anything more.
Perfect spot! In town for a basketball tournament in St. Joseph. This place was perfect for our family, had everything we needed. Host was accommodating as we needed to extend our stay. Close to everything and town square is so cute. If ever in town again, would definitely stay again!
The living area is large and comfortable. Plenty of beds and spaces to sleep.
Cool building and a good location by the town square to grab something to eat.
We absolutely loves the property and we'll definitely be back. The little town square is adorable and friendly. The inside of the property was cozy & relaxing!!!
