Great Escape in between Redwoods Main Parks

The property was beautiful and well thought out as a great relaxing place to escape and explore. Our family had a great time there and really got to be in nature even at the rental. Everything was immaculately maintained and clean. The one complaint I have is that the place only provided the bare minimum of everything. It would have been nice if it had a few more comfy blankets for the couch and bedtime, as well as more games, puzzles, a deck of cards, some packets of hot cocoa for the kids, a few extra towels instead of the exact amount that everyone only got 1 for our entire stay. Sometime the luxury of a little abundance goes a long way.

Beautiful and perfect!

We stayed at this property 10 years ago for our honeymoon, and after finding it on Vrbo, decided to return for our anniversary! It was just as we remembered - beautiful views, detailed craftsmanship, and lots of space to spread out! We used it as a home base to explore the Redwoods and the charming town of Trinidad.

Beautiful stay in an amazing property

This was such a unique and beautiful home. The lovely manicured gardens were amazing and we all loved the hot tub. The folks as vacasa were easy to work with and checked in to make sure all was well with our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Girls Weekend

Had an amazing time relaxing and recuperating with friends. This cabin is amazing, plenty of space for 6 adults. Space was clean and kitchen had everything we needed to make meals.

Blows expectations out of the water

This place was brilliant. Pictures do not justify the amazing views and cozy, quaint A-frame. A winner and a repeatable place to stay. In fact, I've already booked the next stay!

Enchanting house in Trinidad

Our family loved the beauty of this unique home. It was so beautiful! The architecture and the natural beauty that surrounds the home. The photographs online do not do justice to how magical this home appears on arrival. We spent our time eating just to enjoy the deck and firepit each evening.

Northern Escape

Well I have to mention the unfortunate uncontrollable issue at check in. Our house had no power. I have to mention it to praise the vacasa staff as they were super responsive and got us into an alternate property for the night, resolved the issue and had us back in the property before noon the next day. This property is absolutely stunning. My wife and 2 boys loved it! So cozy and relaxing. The pictures say it all but it’s even better in person. I would highly recommend this property and hope to be back at some point myself.

Absolutely gorgeous

My husband, children and I recently stayed here during my sister’s elopement. The property was gorgeous- everything from the home itself to the gardens and view was absolutely stunning. We truly enjoyed the space! It would work for a variety of different travelers and was set up with everything we could possibly think of. The only downside I can think of was that the drain in the shower on the first floor was very slow and kept backing up. It made it hard to enjoy that particular aspect of the home. However with viable alternatives available and sooo many other wonderful features, it truly was not a big deal. Our stay was very enjoyable and if we ever find ourselves in the area again we would gladly book another stay at this property!

Beautiful Trinidad

Beautiful home in an established neighborhood with houses on huge lots. Can't even see your neighbor. Views of the Pacific from the deck are so calming View of the stars at night from the deck are stunning! I even saw a shooting star! The house was clean with a beyond well equipped kitchen. The dishes are of good quality so you don't feel like you are roughing it. Bedding is also a step up and the beds are comfortable. The house was clean. The couch is not dirty at all as mentioned in a previous post; it is just comfortable and well sat upon,It was so nice having a firepit on the deck as well as the hot tub. It would be nice if the hot tub cover opened a little closer to the house so that the view isn't of the hot tub cover but of the wonderful trees. I f I had to choose something to pick at it would be the toilet paper and paper towel holders. The minute you touch the toilet paper/paper towel it falls out. Suffice is to say, the toilet paper stayed perched on the counter. Would recommend this home.

Beautiful A-frame in the redwoods

Extraordinary house with thoughtful design, amazing deck and breathtaking views. The kitchen was well-equipped and the beds were very comfortable. A couple of things to note: the sofas in the living room were worn out and definitely need replacing, and there was mildew or mold in the upstairs shower. The slate shower downstairs was in great condition.

Perfect vacation spot

Proximity to the redwoods and to downtown Eureka. Loved the layout, hot tub, deck with a fire pit, fully stocked kitchen and some fun board games. Our group lived it!

Amazing property

This house is even more stunning than the pictures when you see all the details of the custom woodwork. The furnishings are eclectic, comfortable, and charming. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses of all sizes, pans, and spices. We had a temporary glitch with the furnace but the wood stove was easy to use and very effective. Vacasa management was extremely responsive to our needs. There are 2 bedrooms with doors and full baths (one upstairs) - the third bed is in the common area with a curtain for visual separation. If we ever return to this area, this house is our first choice and I highly recommend it -- and Vacasa.

Magical stay at Redwood paradise

Everything about this property was perfect. The home and view are nothing short of stunning. Our family loved eating on the deck, hiking in the Redwoods parks, relaxing in the hot tub and sharing stories around the fire pit. The property manager was responsive and communications were timely and thorough. We would absolutely stay again. Had Heqdies one night for dinner and lighthouse grill for another. Both were good. Murphy's has everything you need for food and supplies. A hike at Trinidad Head was lovely. Amazing family trip we will always remember.

North Cali adventure

We loved staying in this beautiful A-frame in Trinidad. The property was stunning with attention to detail throughout. We were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary exploring the Redwoods, and the location of this house couldn’t have been better. We took day-trips to several of the surrounding towns, but were also happy spending the day at the house as well. Each space in the home drew you in to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature. The kitchen had everything you would need. There were comfy pillows and blankets always within reach. The gardens were impressive and we couldn’t believe the size of the property, and how well every part of it was groomed. The view from the back deck was breathtaking. The ocean view was more impressive in person than the listing’s pictures implied. Overall it was fantastic and we would count ourselves very lucky to stay here again one day. We couldn’t have found a better slice of heaven to celebrate our anniversary!!! Thank you for sharing your property!
