Valdez Getaway

This is a beautiful property well maintained well manicured and well supplied. The host has thought of everything from home baked goods to amenities that the guest may have forgotten. I enjoyed staying here and I would love to come back here.

The b&b met all of our needs. Well appointed, well stocked and the best homemade baked goods. We would definitely stay again if we are ever are back.

It was good not great. This is a basement walkout and you could hear upstairs neighbor's footsteps (which makes us crazy). Worse, there was some kind of loud pump that runs every time you flush toilet or take shower. Very unpleasant grinding noise. Otherwise cute set-up. TV could have been larger

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy a drink on the deck overlooking Valdez. Close to places to eat and walk. Host has a comfortable well appointed and stocked B n B! Thanks for a great stay.

We met both Krista and Lee and they were delightful hosts. We were shocked at how perfect this place was in comparison to our expectations. The porch with its view made it even more special. Everything was undersold if anything. I would highly recommend their place.

Clean, comfortable, and everything you need!

This room was PERFECT for our stay in Valdez. We stayed 3 nights. The room was incredibly clean which is very important to me and bed was very comfortable! There was a microwave, toaster, kuerig machine with several coffee pods available to use and the host stocked the fridge with fresh milk, yogurts and other things! The room had really everything we could need with so many special touches. My ONLY feedback would be to install blackout curtains for the summer months. Sometimes it was hard to sleep because it was light out all night. I would 1000% stay here again.

Charming, comfortable place

We had a very pleasant one-night stay. I appreciated that everything was so clear, and yet we didn’t have to have endless conversation with the hosts to check in - it felt so private. The place is very spacious, so comfortable, very nice linens, and a great little kitchenette station. Most importantly: it’s totally not weird 😅 that is one of my biggest concerns about staying at a B&B style place. This space is super comfy, homey, clean, and welcoming; smells good and has delicious baked treats provided. Thank you so much!

It’s a very cute basement apartment. As I read ad that said sleeps 3, my husband and I both thought we saw 2 separate beds as picture above beds was different in each picture. So there is only 1 bed. A couch and if needed appears a blowup in closet. For the right people this is very nice but for 3 adults wasn’t exactly ideal. My misread not fault of owner.

Nice place

Very nice place to stay. Hosts are very kind and bake-good were made and left for us during the stay. The place is the bottom floor of the hosts house, and you can hear the hosts walking around upstairs (but it wasn’t super loud). The only thing I wish they had were curtains for the windows. In the spring and summer in Alaska the sun is up most of the day and night, and not having curtains and just blinds, the apartment was very bright all the time and hard to sleep/stay asleep.

Cozy B&B with Beautiful Decor

My husband and I simply loved Cliffside B & B. We were greeted with homemade spice and chocolate breads. They were so delicious. There were snacks, coffee/teas, creamer, fruit, paper goods…everything we needed. Upon opening the door you walk into a very serene and perfectly decorated suite. The colors are so relaxing and the artwork is outstanding. Just beautiful. Makes you feel right at home. Everything was totally immaculate and spotless. Had a private porch area with great view of the mountains. Krista was very responsive and a super hostess. Highly recommend!!
