KEY LOCATION TO ENJOY FAMOUS SCALLOP SEASON

Sits on a private acre of land with some wooded area and wonderful private retreats, spa whirlpool hot, sauna and bbq.
Walkout the backyard to community park with, olympic heated pool, beach volleyball, tennis courts, BBQ shared area. It is very centrally located, adjacent to the Crystal river airport and Bicentennial Park. Hunter Beach is 5 minutes away where kayaks can be rented to see the amazing THREE SISTER SPRINGS. It is an amazing experience, but you must be willing to row out to the springs since it is a good 35minutes there and 35minutes back, another way to experience the springs is to, take a pontoon tour that offers that site in its tour. Depending on the time of the year there are plenty of River Charters that offer manatee encounter experiences or simply will provide an assortment of river experiences. As per your stay with us, if you are not a woods person this is not the right place for you. If you however enjoy the sound of the crickets, the chirping of the birds, the view of a full moon, the smell of the woods and in general a nature person, this is an awesome retreat. I personally recommend as a Gulf tour to reach out to River Safaris where they host a nice GULF water tour on boat for $35.00 per person and it is about 3hours long its nice. For Golf lovers, the new CABOT CITRUS FARMS recently ignagurated..... AMAZING MUST GOLF IN FLORIDA.

Great spot for our fishing trip

We stayed here and fished the surrounding areas. Great outside patio area to visit and rig gear. Comfortable stay and friendly hosts.

Nice small cozy home away from home. Paula was very nice and responded to all my concerns. I appreciated the little extra touches she did. Enjoyed my stay there.

Awesome host, great location.

Perfect location for us near local airport, close to Crystal River attractions and central to explore surrounding State parks. This listing is not "located in a resort" as listed. It is connected to private home through side entrance and noise does travel through the walls. Awkward and crowded furniture placement in rooms with no windows, but very clean with comfortable beds. Outdoor space is nice and private but well used and could use some attention. Paula is a friendly and kind hostess, very responsive and helpful.

Relaxing and peaceful

We booked on very short notice with no issue,the communication was excellent. Easy to find with no problem. Check in with very smooth.We arrived around 7.It was very peaceful no interruptions very satisfying for our need at last minute. Host was very sweet and delightful.We will definitely book again.

Small quiet neighborhood

Meylin was an awesome host and boat Captain as well showed us crystal river spring and also did some fishing. She was very communicative with the property and was doing a great job with the property hope we can stay again.

This host has multiple properties close to one another. The host is very quick to respond and make sure all of your needs are met. We love to come to the area and won’t stay anywhere else. Clean property. Fully stocked with all needs. Easy check in and out process.

Great location for seeing the attractions of the Crystal River area.

Great location! Indoor Space is a bit tight, but outdoor space makes up for it. Hostess is on site and very helpful and responsive.

small but convienient location for manatee trip

owner has both a small apartment attached to house and an RV to rent. Property is available to both. We enjoyed our trip to see the manatees and have some bike trips in the area.

Unfortunately - was unable to stay at the site due to an unexpected family emergency. Had to return home due to possibility for electrical fire in my home. The host had been helping with booking issues and was very helpful in changing the reservation. Very helpful communication. Will be wanting to stay there on the next trip South.

Quick quiet visit

I absolutely loved everything about this host and her property. She is one of the best hosts I have yet to deal with, she went above and beyond to make sure I had a pleasant stay. The property is perfect for a solo traveler as myself, and I will definitely stay with her every time I come up to see my parents. I had my two dogs along, and they also were very welcome and loved her great yard to explore during morning coffee. This is a perfect spot for a quiet vacation, or just to enjoy while your in the area snorkeling or kayaking ,) she’s a great host if your not familiar with the area with every recommendation you can think of, her knowledge of the area was impressive. (And I lived in homosassa 15 years, and she knew a tad more than me ,) .) five out of five stars and I’m not normally a person to review but she definitely earned a stellar review.

AMENITIES NOT !!

Not at all whats advertised as having amenities that dont belong to property, kitchenette non existent, no bathroom door, no heat AT ALL, Barely squeeze in the space past too large for room bed at entrance, paper thin walls made privacy nonexistent. Just not what we expected. We love outdoors & when we seen pool, hot tub, heated pool, etc & then were led to the back of a house with NONE plus the other issues, we were anxious to leave . Were told from noon-4 pm down the street pool was open.

We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back

We arrived late on a Thursday night. Directions from our host were spot on. We had no trouble finding this location or getting in. We were surprised to find a cozy apartment style lodging. The attention to detail was great. Everything was very clean and the host was fabulous and always responded promptly; and they left cold drinks and snacks that were very appreciated. We also had our pups with us. They had plenty of space outside to walk around and do their business. The parking accommodated our full size truck perfectly. Although there isn’t a full kitchen there is; a Microwave, Fridge, and a fabulous private outside cooking area. That outside area also includes a fire pit, large Blackstone cooking top and a grill. This location is very close to all of the fun stuff in Crystal River. This accommodation was perfect for us and two small pups. We will surely stay again.

Fraud - no such address!

Showed to address provided, no response from ‘owner’, security cameras warnings signs and no trespassing warnings at the closest address to listing. Everything booked within a few hundred miles and stayed in car. Will not use VRBO again.
