Lejlighed med udsigt over Duomo, det ser ud til at røre ved det!

Denne elegante lejlighed ligger 50 meter fra Piazza del Duomo, i det mest centrale område i byen, hvor alle seværdighederne er placeret (museer, restauranter, pubber, kirker ..). Lejligheden ligger på 4. sal uden elevator i en gammel florentinsk bygning. LA CUPOLA-lejligheden består af en korridor, der fører til to dobbeltværelser, to badeværelser med bruser og en opholdsstue med tekøkken. Vinduerne vender direkte mod Duomo og dens kuppel og tilbyder en spektakulær og unik udsigt over Duomo. Gulvet blev lavet med en elegant parket. Lejligheden er udstyret med aircondition i soveværelserne og i hallen, med en vaskemaskine og et moderne udstyret køkken.
Det er indbydende og komplet med alle de nødvendige faciliteter til at tilbringe et afslappende og behageligt ophold.

Great location and gracious hosts

Centrally located with a beautiful view of the Duomo. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Visited with our teenage son and it was perfect for the 3 of us!

Perfect location and lovely host

Everything was spot on. We loved staying here. It’s easy to walk to all the attractions from the apartment. Our host, Irene, communicated with me clearly and was friendly and accommodating. We’d definitely stay here again when we come back to Firenze.

Great location and high standards

Our stay here would have been perfect....the location and high standard of presentation were second to none.....however the WiFi only worked forthe first day of our stay and we experienced a lot of stress when a taxi couldn't be arranged and we had to walk/run to the staion to avoid missing our connection

Wonderful Rental

This was a wonderful apartment. We loved the proximity to the Duomo and the historical part of town. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. The only thing to note is that if you have difficulty walking up steps, this may not be for you. But if you are able, this place is one in a million.

Perfect location, great view, lovely apartment

The view matches the comfort of the apartment. Having two comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms makes this a perfect place for 2 couples or a family of four. The location is fantastic with good restaurants literally steps from the door. The steps to the apartment help burn off the pasta! Irene is a super host and easy to communicate with. We hope to return again soon.

The best

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying in this marvelous apartment for 13 days. The apartment had everything we need it was like a home away from home. The location was perfect and waking up looking at the Duomo with the sound of the bells was like heaven. Words cannot describe how amazing human beings the owners Irene and Salvatore are. We are very lucky to have found this apartment. Thank you so much Irene and Salvatore.

Great apartment and location

The apartment was very clean and well appointed. The host provided a few essentials for us as we arrived a bit late. Irene was very responsive and helpful. The location of the apartment was amazing. There are many stairs and getting our luggage to and from was a bit difficult but worth it for the experience. Going in and out of the apartment was pretty effortless once we didn’t have luggage to contend with.

The best place to stay in Florence

Irene’s husband met us at the apartment when we arrived to show us around and give us a quick rundown on places to go and things to do. His recommendations were excellent, as we tried several. And the apartment was clean and very quiet when the windows were closed at night. Comfy beds too. Close to everything! By day 2, we were used to all the steps. Well worth the climb! We loved Florence and hope to visit again one day. Would definitely stay here again too. Thank you so much Irene and Salvatore!

Fantastico!

This apartment was more than I could of asked for. It has the charm of old world Florence with beautifully updated bathrooms and kitchen, and sunny spacious bedrooms. And the view of the Duomo is spectacular.The apartment was spotless and the kitchen was well stocked with the basics. The central location was perfect for reaching all of Florence. Salvatore was very gracious, helpful and informative. I hated to leave.

Perfect location! - Great experience!

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment which was really close to the Duomo and surrounding restaurants Everything was a short walk from this apartment including the train station and the Ponte Vecchio. Irene and her husband Salvatore were amazing and responded timely with the many questions that we had. I would highly recommend this apartment as it was in a perfect location for our visit to Florence. Thank you Irene for always being their for us. Ciao for now!

Everything was spot on

Irene has a lovely house. It is clean and well equipped. The view out the window was exactly as advertised! She provided a few things for breakfast, which I really truly appreciate. The air conditioning works wonderfully. Lastly, the double or triple planed windows really keep out the noise of the enthusiastic street life. Thank you Irene for allowing us to stay. Natosha

GREAT LOCATION! CHARMING APARTMENT!

This apartment was perfect for our stay in Florence! It was lovely, clean and has a great location. The beds were comfortable. So nice to have 2 bathrooms. Irene met us with her charming smile! Taught us to make coffee using an Italian coffee pot...love the coffee! She also arranged our taxi the morning we left and met us to say goodbye. Irene is the icing on the cake! Wonderful location and comfortable accommodations

Perfect location for anything you wanted to do. Great selection of restaurants in the immediate area. Irene’s place was elegant, very clean and well maintained! She even provided us coffee, yogurt, juice and cookies for the duration of our stay. The only downside is the 4 flights of stairs you need to climb to get to the apartment. But considering all the wonderful food we ate it was good to burn off some calories. Irene even scheduled a taxi to the train station for us on the morning of our departure. I would highly recommend staying here unless you are afraid of the stairs. You won’t be disappointed.

PLEASANTLY SURPRISED

This apartment is dead smack in the heart of Florence. Beautiful views of the The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore dome (Duomo). Walking distance to all the major attractions and train station. The owners, Salvatorre and Irene were very responsive to our messages. Salvatore met us at the property when we arrived even though we got there past 10 pm. The owners left us some yogurt and milk inside the ref. The property was properly stocked with kitchen wares, utensils, and cleaning supplies. The rooms were clean and spacious. Just like everyone mentioned, you’ll get used to the flight of stairs.

Amazing Florence Stay!

This apartment was an absolute FIND! Location is everything and the apartment is a stones throw away from the Duomo. Laying in bed at night and staring at the magnificent dome out the window was like a dream. The view is simply magnificent. Additionally, the apartment was very clean and there was a nice assortment of breakfast food waiting for us. It's the little things this apartment had like fresh white towels and good wifi that set air bnbs apart for me. And yes, it is a climb up to the fourth floor, but you can't have it any other way in a historic building in an old city. Plus, you've got to work off those cannolis! Salvatore and Irene are both so friendly and willing to give advice and help out with dinner reservations, calling a cab, etc. We couldn't have stayed in a better place!

Beautiful apartment in a perfect location

This apartment was even better than the pictures! It is beautiful, newly renovated, very comfortable, and has stunning views of the Duomo! Three of us stayed in the apartment and could not have been more comfortable. Each room had separate temperature controls and comfortable beds. Having two full bathrooms was a real treat. There are stairs to climb to get to the apartment, but the views are worth it! It felt as though you could reach out the window and touch the Duomo! The owners were so easy to work with and were very accommodating with our arrival and departure. They contacted us via email and were quick to reply whenever there was a question. They do some simple things that really make for a perfect stay: stock the fridge with yogurt, juice, coffee, tea, milk, jam, butter; provide maps of Florence; provide a book of recommended restaurants, sites, and shops in the area; they also provide small soaps, laundry soap, toilet paper, and sponge. These little touches really set them apart from some owners. It allowed us to really enjoy our days in Florence! I would definitely stay in this apartment on a future visit!

Fantastic location

This apartment home was fantastic!!! A perfect walking distance to all the sights we wanted to see in Florence. The view is spectacular! Loved waking to the sounds of the Duomo’s bells every morning (they don’t ring until 7am, quiet all night). The apartment is spacious and clean. Beds are comfortable and having the kitchen saved lots of time and money, The only drawback is the five flights of stairs but that is a small price to pay for the view. I would highly recommend this apartment. Thank you Irene and Salvatore for sharing this beautiful home with us.

Visiting Florence

Amazing view from the windows of the Florence Cathedral. The apartment is very open and spacious, nice bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with showers- this was great since there were 4 of us. Our hostess was amazing- helped us reserve a taxi for an early departure. We will definitely come back and stay!!

Amazing location and hosts!

Irene was amazing. She was so communicative the whole time. My plane to Italy had mechanical issues and I ended up missing my connection and being very delayed. Irene and her husband met my older mom at the VRBO and helped her get her bags upstairs, her phone connected to the wifi, and showed her restaurants and places nearby on a map. The location is near everything. You have a great view and short walks to all the main attractions (~10 minutes). The apartment was very clean and exactly like the photos. As mentioned it is up 4 flights of stairs, so I would avoid bring heavy roller bags. I would absolutely recommend Irene's place to everyone.

Fantastic and peaceful location in the historic center of Firenze

We have stayed in really great apartments all around the city over the past 30 years, usually traveling with our son and sometimes with friends, too. This time it was just my husband and I, but when I stumbled upon the listing for the Cupola apartment, we thought it looked perfect. The central location was extremely convenient, the hosts were quick to communicate, and we had plenty of space to spread out and work when necessary. Most importantly, this central spot was remarkably SILENT at night. We have heard motorini, drunk tourists, and general chaos in other parts of the city. Ironically, the Cupola was the most quiet of all. It was magical to wake to the sounds of the bells every morning. It was convenient to pop "home" late afternoon to freshen up before heading out for an aperitivo. The wifi worked well for email, but phone calls were more challenging. Video calls were unsuccessful, but the one bedroom - the first one as one enters the apartment - was fine for brief audio calls. My husband had difficulty communicating with clients, so connectivity was really the only down side to our stay. Salvatore and Irene were great hosts who offered abundant recommendations. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing holiday in the heart of Firenze.

Great location 10 minutes to everything

Our property stay was fantastic. The property has everything you need. Especially if you do not want to eat out every night. Salvatore meet us at the apartment, and his introduction to Florence was magnificent. He is right, every major attraction is within 10 to 15 minute walk. Perfect for us. Went out, came back and rested. Went out again. There is no lift, but after a few days the four flights of stairs were a breeze.

Very nice apartment

Irene's apartment was very well furnished and comfortable. A terrific location close to everthing. To be any closer to the Duomo we would have to sleep in the bell tower. She is friendly, she met us at the apartment, spoke english very well and was a very caring and responsive host too. Hot water went out for a little while and she rushed over on her bike and fixed it herself! She made sure we had some small breakfast items for our first morning after traveling to get there. I highly recommend her apartment, but bring small luggage as she honestly says in her listing....It is a great apartment on the 5th floor with no elevator. I would stay there again...No problem. Grazie mille Irene.
