Great time.

We had a great time at this place. We would stay here more and we started a new thing at this cabin, we left a note book with the date of stay and a small riddle to find a dollar that we hid. We would like the next family to keep this going. If you find it then it’s your time to hide it with a clue for the next family.

Honeymoon

We had a great time! The hot tub didn’t work for unit 4 but since no one else was there we used unit 1’s hot tub but overall the experience was amazing!

Not great

The hot tub didn’t work and I never got the fee returned when we never got to use it. WiFi never worked and there was mouse poop. Should have listened to the reviews was told that all the issue were corrected/ wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. Other than that the location was nice 20 minutes from Gatlinburg and pigeon forge which was nice. Close to gas stations and places to eat food without a drive all 5 min away.

Out dated

Hot tub smelled like mold, everything is small in this house and the stove was so old we didn't take a chance to cook on it, cobwebs on ceiling and the entertainment center in bedroom had so much dust on top of it you couldn't put nothing on top of it the guy that came to fix the TV was an awesome gentleman, we felt sry for him because of all of the cobwebs behind TV and on the wall in the bathroom. I wouldn't recommend to a friend

Good stay but need improve

I am debating to leave a 3 or 4 star for our 6 nights stay Here is our review: Pros: our family enjoy the outdoor jacuzzi, closeness to the national park; we could cook; and the cabin has window AC which are important for our trip during COVID. Cons: we do not have TV or internet at all. We reported this issue day one. Vacasa did send a technician to check the second day; and he told us it's from carrier side. However, the issue is not fixed during our whole stay. we feel we should get discounted. Second, we have seen many ants in the kitchen area. we end up store all food in the fridge. and the bed set is not clean. My wife and kids got red rashes and did not have good sleep. Please fix this. I am a rental property owner. Please make sure the bed and kitchen are clean.

Worst vacation ever!!!

I requested a mountain view, a pool and a hot tub as amenities for our trip to SeviervilleTN. My husband has back issues so the hot tub was vital. We originally booked The Homeplace. 2 weeks before our trip, I read a review saying that the hot tub was not working. I called immediately and was assured that the problem had been resolved. The view was beautiful, however the "pool access" was the public paid pool 5 miles down the road. We left for a short while and upon returning, we found someone in our unit. He rushed out when we pulled up, saying that he was there to check the fire extinguisher. He did not have on a Vacasa shirt and we were not notified of anyone coming in. The next day we found that the hot tub still was not working. Called again and was told that someone would be there to fix it in the morning. No one showed so I called again. Was told that it would be fixed by that evening and I would be called with updates. No one ever called back. I called again and was told that someone would come the next morning. This was not acceptable and we asked to be relocated. The next morning we moved to Heaven's View. There was no mountain view, no pool and this hot tub did not work either. 2 repair men came for this one and it never got fixed. So, after spending a large amount of my vacation time on the phone with Vacasa, having to repack and move in the middle of it and NEVER having ANY amenities that I requested Vacasa only compensated us for $80.00!

Perfect Fall Getaway

This cabin was conveniently located with a short drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The Cabin was the perfect size and was well equipped with all the essentials for our stay. Very comfortable overall.

Made for an uncomfortable vacation

The property itself was descent and clean; however, the internet did not work at all the entire stay, the bedroom was miserably hot even with the fan provided, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the hot tub had an awful smell.

Quiet and nice

Property was nice. Hot tub needed cleaning. A few spider webs were in corners. Didn’t really care about watching tv, but did not work even after following written instructions.

Perfect spot....

For us the location is perfect. It's settled nicely between Pigeon Forge and Townsend. Walking distance to a quiet little coffee shop with delicious pastries. We've stayed here before and will happily stay there again.

ZERO Privacy, horrible stay

Absolutely no privacy! Found camera system in home, hot tub is 30-40 yards from a VERY busy highway, tons of traffic and noise. Clear view to “private” hot tub.

Perfect little cabin getaway with my girlfriend but…

This cabin really is great for just two people, probably could fit up to four people as well. Pictures were very accurate and everything was very clean. We only had a little problems like our Fossett in the bathroom was leaking all night and through the day, there were no adult TV channels available there were only children channels available which wasn’t as much of a problem thankfully we brought an iPad we could watch shows on. The only thing that I wasn’t very happy about was being so close to a busy road . You could hear trucks and cars passing all night long and there was barely any privacy. But again it was a great little cabin for me and my girlfriend just wish there was a better view and was a little bit more private.

The Homeplace

Nice little setup for a getaway. Hot tub is useless because there are no lights outside to be able to use it at night. And I don’t know anyone that wants to sit in the hot tub during the day with all the traffic going by. Wifi is super weak, which is fine if you want to 100% disconnect, but frustrating if you have anything online to try to accomplish.

Labor Day weekend

With it being such a short notice trip you pay for what you get. The bed in the bedroom wasn’t comfortable especially for two people. We slept our last two nights on the pull out couch. Don’t get me wrong we enjoyed ourselves sacs we didn’t have to travel far to get to anything. I just wished we had a little more privacy as well.

Quiet and relaxing

Cabin was perfect for the two of us. Away from the noise and crowds of the parkway, but still lots of neat little stores, antique shops, and restaurants nearby.

Very clean, but not family friendly- terrible location!

Pros: -very clean -new hot tub -nice customer service Cons: -perfect place for a couple (not 4 people), bathroom very small. -On the side of a VERY busy highway! No privacy whatsoever. -NO INTERNET (support was great, refunded money, but still didn't get fixed)

Great stay on the quiet side of the smokies!

Beautiful views, relaxing hot tub, quant little town away from the touristy areas (pidgeon forge and gatlinburg) but everything is still within a short drive thru gorgeous mountain side roads and rolling mountain rivers! Cabin was small, but it was perfect for a couples weekend and was super nice and really clean. Not many tv channels available, but who are we kidding, no ones here for that anyway. 5 stars all around, and would def reccomend
