Located in the heart of the Gruene historic district, The Casitas at Gruene is perfect for small groups, couples, wedding parties, girls' weekends, and more. This listing is for the Fiesta themed Casita. Each Casita includes private access to the Guadalupe River. There is a walkway to our private river access on the property. Gruene Hall is a 5-minute walk. Kayaks and paddleboards available for use. Beautiful rustic stone picnic tables, fire pits, and Bar-b-Que pits available for use. The property is meticulously maintained and features 100-year-old oak trees. An automatic security gate welcomes guests and is closed at night. Guests have 24/7 access.
All Casitas have a fully-stocked complimentary Keurig bar, microwave, bar sink, and 2 TVs.

Great location

Was in town for a show at Gruene hall so wanted something walking distance from the venue. Easy 5 minute walk. There was a good little bar across the street we enjoyed as well. Couldn’t find the light for the shower or it was burned out but other than that the casita was great!Did not get my check in email but a quick call to the owner solved that issue. Responsive and quick.

Quick Stay

We had a lovely stay at the Casita in New Braunfels. Reservations with Vrbo was easy. The host was amazinly responsive, attentive and accommodating. The property was beautiful and the private walk way to the river was a huge plus. My family will definitely come back. Thank you for the hospitality.

We absolutely loved our stay at the fiesta casita!! The private lake access is PERFECTION. Well worth it. Hosts were communicative and helpful. We love Gruene and everything downtown was in walking distance. Only comment is the king bed isnt really a king bed, its 2 twin beds pushed together which was a little awkward for my husband and I, but cant wait to go back!!! We actually messaged our friends already to pick a week and hopefully rent all the casitas!!!

Never happened

We booked this trip months ago and we’re so excited. Unfortunately the day of check in we were completely ghosted by the host and never received any check in information!! They would not respond to Vrbo either. And we drove 4 hours to celebrate our anniversary. Vrbo said since they were unresponsive they would put us in a hotel for the night and we could find other accommodations the next day. Needless to say so last minute nothing comparable was available not to mention we were already out of pocket 1250 for the place we booked so we drove 4 hours back. The manager did call me back several hours later and told me the reason this happened to us was not due to some horrible accident or situation bur because the phone had been dead and they were looking for a charger. I FO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY!! They ruined our vacation.

Location Location Location is all I gotta say. Cottage was excellent. If your looking for somewhere to stay this the place. If I could give 10 stars I would. To the Monroe's, don't change a thing and thank you for allowing us to stay on your property.

Road Noise & Poor Mattress.

Nice living space but location is poor because of road noise. Across road from business area. City was emptying dumpsters 3am. Major road with a lot of traffic 6 am to 11 pm. King bed mattress was the worst. Location very close to Gruene attractions but not worth the cost. We paid for two nights but left the property the second night so we could sleep. We will find another place to stay next trip. Parking area is limited and tight

Texas Get Away

Perfect combination for both of us. With the peaceful retreat down by the river and the closeness to shops, food and entertainment in Gruene, it was the best of both worlds. Accommodations were perfect for us. Special thanks to Dusty for her prompt assistance with the 1/2 sleep number bed issue.

Wonderful stay
