About this property

Custom built 7,500 sq feet Wilderness Log home with 6+ bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Beautiful views of Little Round Lake, secluded and private with boat access to energetic Round Lake with bars and restaurants.

The perfect entertaining lodge. Double Ovens makes entertaining for large groups easy and efficient, with access to an enormous deck and screen porch. Oh, and the custom log bar in the basement, well there is not better place to soak in the Northwood's while indoors with great views of the lake. Enjoy the custom log shuffleboard and log poker table, or just sit back and enjoy the (very) good life.

All rooms are over-sized and offer top of the line furnishings and finishes. You really must see this property to truly appreciate its beauty and grandness.

Great for family gatherings, corporate retreats and just a reunion of friends.

Multiple restaurants and bars are accessible by boat on Round Lake, even a marina with gas to refill so you can spend all day on the water! You do have to go under the bridge to get to Round Lake, which can be a tight fit, but not far at all. We have a newer 22' pontoon boat that is available for rent as well. If the water is really high, there is a chance you might not fit, but this has not happened to us over the last 5 years.

Off the water, there is a winery and casino (age 18+) within 5 miles. There is also mini golf, go carts, log rolling and much, much more to explore!

We also have 3 kayaks (1 is a double person) and a paddle boat that are included with your rental. And again, we have to mention that we have a brand new pontoon also available for an additional charge.

In summary, Custom built Wilderness Log Home features 6 BR, 4 BA, stately family room, gourmet kitchen with island and double ovens, full log interior and accents, master suite with Jacuzzi tub, 2 laundry rooms & fully finished walkout lower level. Max guests - 16 and offers a perfect retreat for entertaining. Attached 2 car & detached 2 car garages. Tranquil setting on a quiet lake but also offers access via boat to popular Round Lake.

Fall Break Get-away

A Wonderful Place

The Lodge exceeded our expectations. Communication with our host was very easy and response was quick. Beautifully furnished and comfortably accommodated 12 adults and one little one. Kitchen was equipped with everything. needed for cooking all our meals. Wonderful location that truly gave the Up North experience. Renting the pontoon gave us all the chance to enjoy the lake.

Heavenly Days

This trip was a year in the works as my husband and I wanted to celebrate our 80th birthdays with our favorite people in the world - our adult children and their kids. There were 14 of us. We came from Illinois, Utah, Washington State and Hawaii. The stay couldn’t have been better!!!!! We ate in most nights and the kitchen accommodated cooking and serving for 14. The “cabin” is amazing. Not only is it huge but there is ample to do in and out. The kayaks were in constant use as was the paddle boat and the pontoon which we wisely rented from the owner. There was never a dull moment and when we had questions we called the owner and he was available right away to answer them. Hayward was only 20 minutes away and it is such a fun little town. This is a must if you have a large family.

Family Gathering

We loved our stay at the lodge. It was the perfect size to allow everyone to be together but yet still able to have some space for their own. We used the kayaks daily. Didn't catch many fish but the water is outstanding and fish were pleniful...we just weren't on our fishing game. The owner, Mike was super helpful with any questions we had prior and during. We are already talking about when to book our next stay at the lodge.

Gorgeous Peaceful Amazing!

Stayed here in early May with 6 women total. This beautiful property is located at the end of a dead end road and is at the end of a peaceful lake, so our stay was very quiet & relaxing. The nature surrounding us was inspiring. We spent a lovely afternoon on the deck lounging in the Adirondack chairs - ahhh - heaven!! We were frequently happily distracted by wildlife!! The kitchen was large enough for us all to help in meal prep & we appreciated the 2 coffee makers, as we didn't all drink the same kind of coffee! The keurig was very handy for our decaf drinker. Mike, the host, was awesome to work with! Clear & efficient communications & very helpful with our group's specific needs. The large great room was a wonderful place to gather & we really enjoyed the fireplace with real wood, crackling, and warmth! We each had our own room so there was lovely privacy when needed. We all decided this was an amazing property and that we'd for sure like to return. We will plan more time for lingering outdoors and for renting the pontoon to go for a lazy putter around the lake. Thank you Mike for a wonderful stay!!!

Great space to celebrate the holidays

Our spread out family looks for a place to gather over the holidays to spend some time together. Executive Custom Log Lodge was wonderful. The lodge provided ample space for our indoor activities. The kitchen was a very comfortable space and the deluxe dining table gave us a great place to gather for meals. There was plenty of sleeping space for everyone and plenty of room to spread out for different needs/activities. Mike was very responsive to our initial questions/needs and we all enjoyed our stay. Access to Hayward was easy as well.

Great Time.

This beautiful home worked out perfectly for our family of 14. Plenty of space and seating for the entire group to be together. Home was well stocked with everything that was needed. If we go back to that area, we will definitely check this propery first.

Great Family Getaway!

The cabin was perfect for our family. The kitchen was fully equipped for all of our meal preparations. There are plenty of areas in the cabin for family functions and fun. A large wraparound deck provided beautiful views of the lake. Will definitely go back........thanks so much to the hosts!

Look No Further

Look no further, This is a great place to stay. Location from activities is great, the location on the lake is excellent. The house has plenty of room, soft comfortable beds. Plenty of room in the kitchen for multiple family meals. Dock space was adequate, the option to rent the pontoon is nice which we did and turned out great. Family loved the pontoon rides in the evening. We stayed in the small lake which was plenty of space to cruise at sunset. The owner was very easy and nice to work with. Will definitely be back again, and the fishing was really good as well. Overall, like i said in the beginning, there's really no reason to look no further everything is right here.

Hayward Family Week

Great place for large family get together. 14 of us enjoyed our stay here, with plenty of room so no one felt cramped. Basement with bar and game room was a great adult entertainment spot. We never left other than to get more groceries. Cooked all our meals in a kitchen that had basically everything you need plus having additional refrigerators, and freezer are a plus. Very confrontable and relaxing. We rent many vacation homes in WI and Caribbean this one was the best and was easy to communicate with owner. Round lake is a clear and clean lake with little boat traffic.

Friend Reunion Weekend

The property is beautiful, perfect for a group! Super clean, easy to get to. Owner communication was perfect, very responsive. Appreciated the option to add the boat rental and all the instructions so we could enjoy the lake too! We would definitely rent again.

We have owned some beautiful vacation rentals around the state of Wisconsin. Our first was on the river near the Wisconsin Dells. Beautiful log home, but didn't have the Northwood's atmosphere. So we sold and purchased 1 on Big St Germain Lake near Minocqua. It rented out so well, that we could never go ourselves, so we bought another on Razorback Lake and then the Willow Flowage. All were beautiful places that we loved, but owning/managing 3 vacation rentals was too much for us to handle, so we sold them all and started looking four our DREAM Cabin. We have 5 kids, and 1 grandbaby, so we wanted something with plenty of space for all of us and our friends, with beautiful lake views and quality finishes. We really believe we found it here, with the Round Lake Grand Lodge!
