Property is presented very tidy as advertised. I did see another “Karen” review bagging the property which isn’t overly fair.It is an older house that looks to have been renovated approx 10/15 years ago so not flash and new but very tidy and easy for a family or group. It’s a holiday house, not a 5-star hotel, which in our view is a great experience of Queenstown without being in QT centre. The easiest way to access Queenstown centre for dinner etc is the water taxi with is a 5min walk from the house down to the warf by the boat ramp.
We all enjoyed our stay with amazing views through the large living room windows and balcony.
A very warm house with lots of options.
An upstairs toilet would be nice, especially with little kids.
The house and its set up is perfect for family and friends. Layout means communal spaces and space for timeouts. Kitchen well appointed (coffee pods much appreciated), bathroom new and spacious.
Quiet, quiet neighbourhood, amazing views and easy access to ski fields and airport, great if you have people to pick up/drop off and want to choose which ski fields you go to.
Beautiful views, outdated house and not as advertised
Great place to stay with a family as there were ample accommodations and even a wide selection of board games/movies for entertainment. The view from the back deck is stunning and this location is great if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Please note that there are no restaurants/bars within walking distance, you will need to take an uber or the water taxi to get to Frankton or Queenstown for town and additional entertainment. Please note that there is also a reason that there are only photos of the bathroom and strategically of the view from the master bedroom as the rest of the house is very outdated. Also, was disappointed that the house wasn't cleaned entirely before our arrival, there was hair all over the downstairs carpet, a smashed spider on the wall of the downstairs bedroom and rugs hiding where the carpet is torn and missing in the master bedroom upstairs. If you are looking for luxury accommodations, this house is not it.
Louise was fantastic prior to and during our stay. Messages were promptly replied to, helpful hints given, and the house runs itself.
We had all the nuts and bolts of into in handy folders in the house. Wifi was great and the laundry facilities came in super handy !
The house is beautifully situated with amazing views but still extremely comfortable with the wild Queenstown weather.
Location is a quiet spot about twenty minutes out of Queenstown and half that to the airport. A quick trip into town to grab sundries was very easy.
The balcony off the main bedroom upstairs was a very nice treat.
Plenty of space to get comfy in the lounge while we planned our next adventure.
Would definitely stay here again !
A home away from home. Great size for a family, spacious, with an excellent kitchen and a well stocked pantry. The view is spectacular, hard to beat, takes your breath away when you enter. The sun shines through the large rear windows in the afternoon, which you can soak up on the balcony accessed from the dining and lounge, plus another upstairs off the main bedroom. Multiple heating options to keep you warm when the sun isn't shining - the log fire is a bonus we definitely used with plenty of wood for our week long stay and beyond. Communication excellent with all the information you need provided. Ferry over to Queenstown fast and very convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Very peaceful location with a fabulous view and very handy to the Remarkables ski field. The sun streamed into the living room and upstairs bedroom in the afternoon which made the house lovely and warm. Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us
Great stay. Perfectly located for our ski based holiday. Lovely warm house, even on those super chilly days.
Had one minor issue during our stay, which was easily resolved.
Would happily book again.
A perfect location for a family break. Views are absolutely amazing. House had everything we needed.
Would definitely recommend this property and look forward to staying again.
We loved our stay, everything was there that we needed and the appartment was clean tidy and comfortable. The views are to die for, in the upstairs bedroom you felt you were on the bridge of a ship looking down the lake. It was brilliant! So much to do in the area, we loved the walk round the headland and back across the golf course.Thank you for your hospitality would definitely recommend if you want a bit of peace from Queenstown, and more sunshine in the evenings!
We really enjoyed staying in this house and we’re blown away by the views on the deck! Plenty of space with our two little boys and lovely open plan with a big lounge area for them to play. Only minor things were that the shower was small (but functional) and the house felt a little dusty but a big plus was that the kitchen was very new, modern and well equipped and of course the amazing views! Drive to town got a bit old and we felt a little isolated in the residential area but still really glad we chose this as our base in Queenstown!
Amazing location and views of the lake and mountains!
5stars is not enough! Beautiful location, comfy home, quiet neighborhood. Hosts answered communications quickly, and were flexible with checkout when our flight was changed. Perfect place to stay!
Beautiful views, a quiet location. Park nearby. Water taxis were a fun way to head to queenstown. Modern done up kitchen has plenty of utensils etc to use. Lots of games for families getting together.
Property instruction book could do with a little updating - eg, water taxi timetable, a clearer note about turning on the hot water straight away would be more helpful.
Overall a very enjoyable stay!
Fantastic home, great area of town. Fantastic for kids, lots of games and dvds. Track down to the lake was handy. Quiet street. Amazing deck and views. Would definately stay here again
