This perfectly appointed house was great for our family as we visited to participate in Ironman Canada. Plenty of space, everything you need in the kitchen. Very helpful and communicative owner!

Another great Stay
This was our second time at this Skaha Lake property and again we enjoyed our stay. Check in with Mary-Ellen was a breeze. Lots of space is a great feature as are the hot tub and beautiful view of the lake from the large deck. With the summer heat he A/C over all works well through the day although the upper level was a a bit stuffy at night. A great central location with easy access to many amenities. Thanks again for a great stay!

Beautiful property with a view
The property was stunning and very clean, with a great view. The property managers were very communicative and adaptable to our plans as our flight was delayed, postponing our checkin time. It was a lovely stay!

Fantastic weekend at a fantastic place!
No question this VRBO ticked all the boxes for us. Eight adults and 2 infant and we still had loads of space to spare. Great kitchen to cook and just have wonderful family time. Deck is massive and the hot tub is toasty. The games room is a big plus as well! All in all 5 out of 5. We would not hesitate to book this place again. Thank you Thompson’s for a lovely Place and making our stay easy, relaxing, seamless and carefree!

Fantastic house for a large group.
Our family of 12 stayed here for just under a week. We really enjoyed all the space that we had in the house. Many of the bedrooms had ensuite bathrooms and there were two tables in the kitchen area to use for eating. The deck was spacious and we enjoyed the hot tub and the games room. The house is 10 minutes away from both Okanagan Falls and Penticton and has a beautiful view of Skaha Lake.

Golf Weekend
10 Family, Friends and I rented this property over Canada day weekend for our yearly golf trip. The house was amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! There was plenty of room to fit us all comfortably, a nice spacious kitchen for us to cook and you can't beat the view of the lake and stars from the hot tub. We will absolutely look at coming back again!

Perfect family gathering
The house & deck were big enough that in even in this Co-vid era, we were able to maintain “distancing “. The beach access was perhaps 1/2 K from the house, & the young people were back & forth many times. They sat around the fire pit in the evenings, & marvelled at the view in the daytime. . For cousins who rarely see each other, it was an amazing experience. We had so many comments about our good choice.

Fantastic property and a great location
Our stay here was fabulous, large home with everything you need. I wish we had more time to spend on the property, there is a large patio with a fire pit, hot tub, and a bbq. Owners were great and very responsive. Short drive to the city, but you also get the privacy with the location. Definitely 100% recommend this place!

Peaceful retreat
We had a wonderful stay at the house. Very spacious and comfortable. The view from the deck is breathtaking and great to watch the sunset. Close to Penticton and OK Falls, Oliver. A great base to go onto the wine trail and fruit orchards, as well as water activities at Skaha beach.

I wanted to keep this place a secret
I love this place. It has now become a yearly summer tradition to stay here every summer. The house is huge and has bedrooms galore. The view of lake is stunning. The house is away from other houses and traffic and so it is peaceful. There is a winding road beside the house with minimal tradic for a run or a bike ride. Then finally it allows easy access to beach/groceries/shopping. And now the secret is out.

Home Away From Home
Pictures don’t do justice to this stunning private retreat. It was perfect for a multigenerational family reunion. The games room was a hit and there was something for everyone. The large kitchen was bright and well equipped.we were greeted and oriented by our hosts who were in constant but non intrusive contact-just checking in to confirm we didn’t need anything. Highly recommended!

Spacious, clean and comfortable!
Skaha Lake retreat was the perfect getaway for our family of 14, which included four grandkids. The entertainment kitchen was perfect for the family gathering along with double doors out to the outside patio, hot tub, loungers, and barbecue area. Plenty of parking made it a breeze for our family along with a great concrete area for kids to ride their bikes. Spacious bedrooms and large play room for the kids made our little getaway a breeze. Mary-Ellen was a very gracious host, welcoming us and being very responsive when we had questions during our stay. The house was also located on a very quiet street and only about a 10 minute walk to the beach. Thank you for your hospitality and we look forward to returning soon!

Beautiful property and location
The house is very clean and well-kept, despite being a little dated. Master Ensuite shower, with 4 different water nozzles, should probably have an instruction sheet for operation, as it was tough to figure out. Otherwise, zero complaints, we'd rent the property again in the future!
