Welcome to our home, located in beautiful Amador County gold country! We have a charming 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom house that was once an original gold mining cabin, walking distance to the well-preserved historic downtown. We also have a detached outbuilding that serves as an office and has a 1/2 bath accessible from the pool area. The fully furnished indoor and outdoor living spaces are perfect for entertainment or relaxation. Enjoy the large recently remodeled backyard complete with swimming pool, as well as the highest speed internet available to easily handle your virtual and distance learning requirements. Between bookings, the home will be thoroughly cleaned to protect our guests from COVID-19.

The space:
Enjoy cooking on the 5 burner gas stove or grilling outside. The living room features a 70” LCD flat screen with Bose surround sound and reclining sofa, perfect for movie night. Note: there is no active "TV" service, but you can Chromecast anything from your devices (directions are in the house binder) . The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a full sized bed and en-suite bathroom. The front porch is enclosed and contains a convertible couch for additional recreational space. The washer and dryer are located in the basement and will be accessible for your convenience.
For guests who love to cook, our kitchen is fully stocked, with anything you might need to make a fantastic meal. Make yourself at home and feel free to use the spices, oils, condiments, etc. If you use a little, no problem. If you use a lot or it’s running low, please replace it.
There is also an outdoor grill for your use, we only ask that you leave it clean and with propane for the next guest to enjoy.
A keypad deadbolt is installed on the door of the side porch, the code will be provided shortly before your arrival. Once inside, you will find the keys and a binder outlining everything you need to know about the house, how to make things work, and nearby attractions, including 11 wine tasting rooms and a draft house just a short walk away.
Other things to note:
We will be on a family RV adventure and would prefer to have one long term booking for the duration of our trip to reduce turnover. We will provide a 30% discount for stays of at least 31 days, 40% off for 60 days or more. Our dates are flexible, so we can coordinate what works best for you. Feel free to message me.
The City of Sutter Creek requires homeowners to collect a 10% "transient occupancy tax" for all stays 30 days or less.
Keep in mind, this is not a vacation rental property, it is our home. We don't have a lot of rules, we simply ask that our guests respect our home and treat it as if it's their own. Please take great care by using coasters, hotpads, cleaning up spills promptly, and covering the outdoor furniture when not in use. Also, please be respectful to our neighbors by keeping the noise down after 10 pm.
