Great stay!

The property is well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking even a blender. The traffic starts early so a bit noisy since our bedroom windows were near the street. The pool is a very nice size. An easy bike ride to the beach at the end of Donax.

Spectacular stay on Sanibel!!

The beach cottage was excellent and exactly like it was described. It was set up completely with all the usuals like bedding, towels (even extra towels) and throw blankets on the couch! The bath towels were softer then a cashmere sweater! The kitchen had everything you could need to cook, including cutting boards and pots & pans. There is a dish washer and a few dish washer pods provided! The cottage was immaculate, beautifully decorated and spotless. Communication with the property manager was a breeze, he even gave me his personal phone number incase of questions or an emergency. He was a gracious host and answered every question we had immediately! He went above and beyond and made us feel welcomed and appreciated! The swimming pool is out the front door! Perfect if you have kids staying with you. The beach within walking distance does not have parking but is an easy walk with sidewalk & crosswalk. The street next to the cottage can get a bit busy so you may hear traffic as early as 7am, but it’s not terrible. The smart TV is set up so you can access any streaming services you may personally have. There is a trash dumpster on the other side of the pool. Washer and dryer in the house with some laundry soap provided! Even notepads, pens, tape and scissors if needed. Great location on the island, easy to find/get to, plenty of parking and close to shopping and restaurants! Definitely eat at Traders, just down the street! When I come back, I’ll check availability here first!!

Quiet and Lovely Cottage!

This cottage is tucked into the most luscious-green scenery of Sanibel. Bike(a few included) left and your minutes from the beach, bike right onto Periwinkle Way you’ll find gorgeous, paved bike paths to restaurants, grocery, shops, everything you need! The pool on the property is clean, quiet and enjoyable. You feel safe, private and at home near other cottages and surrounding neighborhood. The two full bathrooms are very accommodating, each off the bedrooms making them private for family or couples vacationing together. Kitchen, laundry and outdoor shed fully stocked with all you would need for planning and preparing a day staying in or at the beach. I recommend this VRBO when visiting Sanibel Island, it is our favorite Florida vacation!

A Hidden Gem on Sanibel

A small private community- tucked away- east to get to everything. We enjoyed the cottage style Unit- bikes, amazing pool, well stocked kitchen, lovely lanai- Washer and dryer. Very safe and comfortable and convenient!

Well equipped cottage, very comfy bed and linens, easy bike ride to beach and businesses.

Kurt’s rental makes it very easy to cook or bake with the fully stocked kitchen items. New dishwasher and refrigerator too. Both beds and linens were excellent quality and provided a restful sleep, The lanai has a large table for six, and ceiling fan to cool you, if it’s too warm. There are many lighting options inside and out, for those darker evenings. The new leather sofas are exceptional. Both bathrooms are new, and very well done. Nice step in shower, but also great to have a bathtub for little ones or a soak for aching muscles. There is a bit of traffic noise from being on the corner of Donax, which is a busy street. I’m extra sensitive to noise, but others may not notice. The bikes were a great asset, with nice wicker baskets to bring items back from grocery or Farmers Market. Kurt continues to make improvements to his properties, and I’m sure by my next trip he may have replaced the tired bedroom carpets and broken vertical blinds throughout the cottage. The woven blind above the kitchen sink is a nice idea for the cool pass through window. The pool is lovely and maintained well, plus I met such nice people there.

Perfect for our family

We had a fantastic time! The pool was amazing and we loved having 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and laundry in our unit. It seemed more upgraded than the pictures: new appliances, new couches, new living room TV, and the beds were amazing! There were beach chairs for us to use, which was great. The beach was a little far to walk with our 7 year old and all of our gear, but, we just drove our stuff there and then one of us brought our car back. We enjoyed Doc Fords restaurant and The Shack for a sweet treat! The pool was perfect! Right outside our door!!! Would definitely recommend this place!

Very relaxing

The house offered everything we needed and was very clean. The property lends itself well to ride bikes to the beach. If we had any questions for the owner he responded immediately. We had a great time.

Perfect Location!

Wonderful location. A half-mile walk to the beach and walking distance to several restaurants and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed the Tipsy Turtle Restaurant. We took the island taxi to and from Fort Myers, which was easy and cost effective. The house was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, beach towels, and beach paraphernalia. Lots of games, books, TV, and internet. The pool was a great bonus and the screened-in porch was lovely. It was a great stay in a quiet and convenient location.

TV and Linen Cleanliness

TV had very poor reception. Linens on one bed had to be washed prior to use to remove flecks of what appeared to be blood.

The perfect space to visit beautiful Sanibel Island!

This cottage is the perfect spot for your family or another couple vacationing together! It is private, quiet area of the island with beach access minutes away. The screened-in porch, living space and kitchen provide plenty of seating area. Bed and bath areas were very comfortable and updated. The grocery stores, equipment rentals and restaurants near by, there was no reason to leave this beautiful island! The beaches are some of the most beautiful in Florida! I highly recommend this cottage and will be rebooking in the future.

Everything we hoped for!

Kurt's cottage was perfect for our first trip to Sanibel. Great location, biked to beaches and restaurants. Clean, cozy, the lanai was wonderful to hang out in especially at night with the warm breeze. Private, had the pool to ourselves most of the time. We used the bikes, umbrella and chairs that were available. Comfortable bed, good shower, would definitely stay again!

Fun Group Trip

The house was small & cozy. We had local shops nearby which was wonderful and the beach was nice and only took us 11 min to get to. The pool was nice and clean and we had fun! The only issue was that the grill wasn’t working properly and we thought it was the gas but we couldn’t figure it out. Just letting you know in case there’s an issue with grill. But nonetheless, the trip was great!!

Wonderful

We had such a wonderful stay in Sanibel. This property contained everything needed for the beach including chairs, beach toys, beach bags, towels etc. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The pool was just lovely! The location was great, you really could bike almost everywhere you needed to go! We are already thinking about returning again!

Amazing stay!!

This was our first time to Sanibel and it did not disappoint. The house was amazing, close to the pool, had so many items we needed. The host was great as well! We will definitely be coming back!!!

Great Place to stay

Our family had a great time, we took full advantage of having the pool right there and the beach a short walk away. Couldn't have been easier for check-in, parking was great, and house had lots of amenities.

Great quiet location

Very clean and well equipped. Great quiet location. Very short walk to the pool and usually had the pool to ourselves! Kurt responded to all questions quickly. Would gladly stay here again.
