Comfortable and Convenient

We are Canadians coming to the area for the Armistice observance in Ypres, and also to visit Mons, Ghent and Bruges. We found the location very convenient to visit these places. As well, the cottage was well-equipped and comfortable, with excellent parking. Additionally, the host was very quick to respond when we had questions, and met us punctually when we arrived. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Petit sejour à la frontiere belge

Nous avons passé 6 jours formidable, Herve est très sympa et soucieux de notre bien être.Le logement est propre et en tres bon etat situé dans une court loin de la rue, c'est très très calme.Nous y retounerons.

On est bien là ! quelle détente...

Nous avons été très bien accueillies par Hervé. Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits dans le logement et avons pleinement profité du jacuzzi. Une vraie détente entre les sessions d'entrainement à Ice Mountain et en fin de journée. Nous en avons profité pour visiter le Musée de l'illusion et la sublime expo immersive Van Gogh à Lille.La Literie est très bien, le lieu est calme et agréable.On y reviendra avec plaisir.Merci Hervé !

A perfect place to stay!

A little gem

We really enjoyed our stay with Herve in the Old Forge in Comines. The property has been done up really nicely, full of authentic, quirky details, with the hanging chairs being a real favourite and the hot tub providing a great way to relax at the end of a long day sightseeing. Location wise Comines is a great base for exploring the surrounding areas and even the beach is easy to get to within an hour. We also couldn't have asked for a better host in Herve, who made us feel welcome even before we got there and was available if needed. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Un gîte de qualité très agréable

Hervé nous a chaleureusement accueilli dans ce gîte spacieux et atypique (ancienne forge). 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain et cerise sur le gâteau un spa à l’intérieur Très tranquille en retrait de la rue.

Parfait

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Hervé nous a accueilli de la meilleure des manières et nous a donné de bons conseils sur les activités à faire dans la région. L’appartement est très charmant, bien agencé et extrêmement chaleureux, à l’image d’Hervé. Nous reviendrons c’est une certitude. Vives et chaleureuses recommandations.

Week-end entre France et Belgique

Venue pour un événement familial dans la région nous avons passé 2 nuits chez Hervé. Le logement est très agréable et au calme, les lits sont confortables et le spa est un vrai bonheur. Hervé est un hôte sympathique souriant qui sait accueillir avec bonne humeur et gentillesse. Séjour très satisfaisant et une adresse que je retiens pour pouvoir découvrir un peu plus la région une prochaine fois.
