A great place to unwind

As a family of 6 and our dog we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful area. The house is exactly as is seen by the photos and set in wonderful surroundings. However, it is now in need of some refurbishment. The bathrooms need walk-in showers to accommodate the elderly or at the very least a non slip mat and handrail for the downstairs bath with overhead shower. There isn’t adequate hanging space or drawers and those that are there are filled with linen. Outside would benefit from some comfortable seating rather than the multitude of hard chairs. We had to buy more cups as there wasn’t enough for the family, and some were chipped. The crockery needs cereal bowls, again the small bowls there were not enough for the family. Communication could be a little more informative and swifter prior to our arrival. Although Monsieur Maisonneuve Snr was very accommodating with my limited French it was difficult to deduce some of what he was explaining. Perhaps a booklet with information in French/English and other languages would be helpful? This is in no way criticism just feedback. Would we stay here again? Yes, in a heartbeat. The house was clean and warm, the setting stunning. We even managed to paddle board and swim in the river!!

Paradiesisch

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in diesem wunderschönen Haus und dem Garten sehr genossen. Begrüßt wurden wir sehr herzlich mit dem lokalen Käse (Neufchatel) und einem Cidre. Der Ort eignet sich Bestens um Ausflüge in der Umgebung zu machen. Sehr idyllisch ist auch ein Bad im angrenzenden Fluss. Die Tischtennisplatte war bei unseren Teenagern sehr beliebt. Die Unterkunft können wir uneingeschränkt und wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

We enjoyed our family stay at this property. Beautiful gardens and the house suited our two families very well. Many things for the children/teens to do. An added bonus were the baby farm animals that surround the yard.

Great house and garden

We hebben twee heerlijke dagen gehad, Het huis en de enorme tuin ligt op een soort eiland, omringt aan alle kanten door een riviertje. Het is huis is smaakvol ingericht en heeft alle comforts. We hebben veel mooie wandelingen in de buurt gemaakt. Leuk is ook dat een ezeltje aanwezig is die graag overgebleven sla lust. We hopen snel terug te komen.

Bon sejour à la campagne

Erholungsurlaub

Wir haben einen wunderbaren und erholsamen Urlaub verbracht. Ein wunderschönes Grundstück und sehr idyllisch. Alles da was man braucht. Das Haus ist noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Eigener Bouleplatz, Tischtennisplatte. Esel und Ziegen kann man jederzeit streicheln und füttern. Auch die Hunde waren auf dem riesigen Grundstück ausgelastet. Zum Bäcker und Lebensmittelgeschäft 10 Minuten fahrt mit dem Auto. Spazierwege mit Hunden nicht vor der Tür. Wir haben uns alle erholt und entspannt.

Tout était réuni pour passer un excellent séjour, et ce le fût: -Magnifique jardin, très bien entretenu , cadre idyllique , mieux que les photos. Maison très bien entretenue , bien équipée, le billard nous a permis de passer de super moments. Allez y les yeux fermés , vous ne serez pas déçus. Villa charmante, séjour agréable

Nous sommes littéralement tombés amoureux du cadre, la villa est très fonctionnelle, rien ne manque dans la cuisine. Tout est prévu pour que vous passiez un très agréable séjour. Rien à se soucier. Un havre de paix

La maison est située dans un endroit loin de toute agitation, avec la nature pour compagne. Si vous cherchez à vous reposer et à visiter la raison, vois faites le bon choix. La maison dispose de tout le nécessaire et en plus, les proprietaires sont très sympas ! Merci pour ce séjour (beaucoup trop court !) et votre excellent accueil.

Très bon sejour

Maison propre, spacieuse, bien entretenue. Grande cheminee pour faire des feux l'hiver, super loggia pour profiter de l extérieur. Le propriétaire est au petit soin pour répondre à nos attentes, très sympathique. Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine de noël en famille! Attention, la maison est assez isolée tout est à 20min en voiture.
