Comfortable accommodations for our stay in the Portland area. Plenty of parking was very helpful which allowed us to park 3 vehicles and occasionally 4.
We hade an over all alright time. We only stayed one night. BUT we chose this place because it had a pool table. We had a group of friends coming back from a show and wanted a place we could hangout and have something to do. What is not mentioned is that the pool table is in a separated garage without heat. There are 2 plug in heaters in the space both are broken. Kind of ruined the night.
We had a great time we loved the house, wish there was another tv in one of the rooms. But other than that we would definitely re book this place

Neat location but confusing description
I took my daughter and three of her friends here for her 13th birthday sleepover. Whoever had cleaned it left several things out. An energy drink can on the counter and dishes in the dishwasher that ended up not draining from the load that was clearly started right before we arrived. The front door key pad was a bit confusing as it is hard to see. My daughter really liked the place and it was very peaceful. Property description says “Sleeps 10” and there are three bedrooms with queens. However, when I reviewed my invoice, I was charged 10 per person over 4. I reached out to the host and was told it was disclosed. It is no where in the description and the only part you see anything about guests numbers in on the final invoice page under Host Fees. You have to look for it. I was not refunded and was confused with being charged for people beyond 4 in a house that has three queens and advertises as 10. I would not rent here again and will be much for diligent at screening every booking detail, even if it would seem silly to question. Because who would have thought you would pay more for a house advertised as 10. Felt dishonest. Transparency was disappointing.
Property was exactly what was desired and advertised. Had more amenities than we could use but would love to try again one day. Check in and check out was the easiest of any property I have ever stayed at.
Overall, our stay was comfortable for our group. It was clean. We had a little trouble getting into the house because we didn’t know that you have to touch the pad above the door knob to light up the numbers to punch in the code. It would also be nice to have instructions how to change the temperature on the thermostat.
Our Stay (6 of us) was too short at Cedar Mill. I regret not taking the time to enjoy the outdoor section of the home. It was a relaxing stay, loved the interior/exterior of the home. Didn’t have to contact the owner for anything, the home is nicely supplied/clean and met expectations. If coming to Portland, this home is based in a quiet area, definitely coming back!
The location of the house was great. The area is was very nice and woke up to deer in the yard. The outside seating area was great to sit at and relax. We had 9 ladies stay night to be there early the next day to get ready for a wedding. We had plenty of room for everyone to sleep with the extra mattress and air mattress.
Check in was a breeze. Near several stores if you need anything. Nice large and safe parking.
Bedrooms are on the smaller size mainly due to larger beds.
Very nice stay, will return.
Cozy little house with some great extra spaces outside. Adults had fun on the above garage lounge area, and the teens had fun in Portland and hanging out playing pool. We were unable to find any exit instructions so hopefully we did okay. We loved our stay! TY!
A very nice property with a lot of space outdoors to hang out in. We were just staying overnight but it was easy to access, we appreciated the use of the laundry and the comfortable beds. We couldn’t figure out how the place can sleep 10 people since there were only 3 queen beds but we didn't need more than those beds for the one night. Very neat place, and hope we can come stay longer next time.
Two family groups (7 people) stayed at the house for two nights. The house is okay, adequate, but that leaves a lot that needs to be improved. The kitchen has a lot of stuff, but I couldn’t find one mixing bowl so I had to use a beverage pitcher as a substitute. The back bedroom is very tight with only 5” of space between the wall and the bed so it was difficult to get into the left side. The extra bedding foam pad needs to be replaced (there’s a big pee stain on it and a dark spot) and the extra linens cabinet is a shambles. Lots of pillow cases but couldn’t find one fitted sheet. We did find one flat sheet. There are comforters in the cabinet; we questioned the last time they had been washed. I found used coffee grounds in the coffee maker (no idea how long it had been in there but they were still wet - at least two days). Did the housekeeper forget to check the coffee machine? I found a few cups in the dishwasher and didn’t know if they had been washed but kept them in to be washed with the dishes we used. The refrigerator was good, a few leftover items in it but that didn’t bother us. The hall bath tub needs a good scrub. The small bathroom shower appeared ok (I’m guessing it could use a good cleaning, too); the floor mats need to be washed.
My recommendation to the owner is to replace and reorganize all linens, get better pillows, buy new towels, buy some mixing bowls (three piece set of s/m/l), and add a whisk to the kitchen tool collection.
We had a great time as a family enjoying this property. Good gathering area and the outside sitting area were wonderful especially in the evening and early morning.
Would recommend this property!
