This place looks even better than the photos. Christine and Alex were extremely lovely. The location is great nice and quiet but not far at all from town. I will definitely be back again in the future!
Everything was really nice and clean. The river is a short walk right from the backyard. Communication with host was easy and friendly. Overall great stay with my best friend for a long weekend.
2nd stay and really nice property and space. Great for Glenwood springs - Carbondale or into Aspen trip starting location.
Very comfortable and relaxing on the river.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Modern Mountain Home in Glenwood Springs. The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay as wonderful as possible. Highly recommend. It is definitely a home away from home.
A great home base for visiting Hot Springs, dining, Vail, bike trails, etc. Host was wonderful. Living areas were very clean. Bed and shower were heavenly. Great dining and activity recommendations in the "binder".

Nice location to downtown Glenwood Springs in a very pleasant neighborhood, very clean and spacious home with everything you could need and also personal recommendations to local attractions and restaurants. There were fresh flowers in several rooms which was a beautiful touch.
What a beautiful home right above the Roaring Fork River. This home is very comfortable and well equipped. The view from the deck is absolutely stunning with the river and the red rock mountain across the way. Close to the Rio Grande Trail for bike riding and walking. Less than ten minutes to Glenwood Springs yet it feels more rural than that.
It was very welcoming when we arrived with music playing and candles burning. We went to Snowmass, Maroon Bells and Geand Mesa. Loved being close to downtown Glenwood.
This house was in a perfect location for all we wanted to do in the area.
The house was so peaceful, extremely clean and in a very safe area. The scenery from the back deck was beautiful!!
Christine, the host, was very friendly and helpful.
Would 100% recommend.

We moved to Glenwood Springs, Colorado from Dallas in 2019 because we feel in love with the rocky mountains and the Colorado lifestyle. We traded the hustle and bustle of city life, shopping malls, high rises and traffic for rivers, bike paths, mountains and wild life. We have two sons, one in college at CU Boulder and the other enlisted in the Navy. We are newly "empty nesters." and getting familiar with this new found freedom and extra time we seem to have. We ski, snowboard, hike, bike, paddleboard, kayak, cross country ski,. We love to cook an especially love traveling to exotic places.
Why they chose this property
The first thing people say when they walk into our home is, "Wow!" The glass windows throughout our living room give view to the majestic, red mountains and river. The evenings on our back deck are spectacular viewing the zillions of stars in the pitch black sky. In the summer, we open the windows and get a nice breeze throughout the house. Our home is modern, spacious and sits on an acre. A bike/walking path can be accessed directly from our backyard and the Rio Grande Bike trail is less than a mile away. The Roaring Fork River runs through the back of our property and has world class trout fishing. Tons of local hiking trails are nearby too.
