A beautiful home to rent. Just right amount of space for two adults and two children - girls loved the bunk beds, I fell in love with the design both exterior and interior as well as having a fire pit Pond is beautiful as well.
I would suggest adding a trash can to the bathroom on the main floor and some sort of window treatments for upstairs. We had fun the second night and used lots of blankets around the bunk beds to block the sun for the early morning hours. Even with this, would rent again!
My family had a wonderful stay. Such a great property. The home had everything we needed and the views are just amazing. A perfect quiet weekend getaway!
We spent a weekend getaway at the property, and it was fabulous. The house was impeccably clean and organized, fully stocked, modern but cozy, and in a beautiful location. The bed in the primary bedroom was really comfortable and the full bathroom spa-like. We spent the weekend relaxing and sipping coffee on the deck looking out at the lake (even saw what we thought was a bald eagle). Nancy was very responsive and a breeze to work with. We hope to come back!
Our family enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at this property! Despite the cold and windy weather, the house was clean and cozy. You can’t beat the views - you can see the lake from every window. The kids braved the weather and fished for hours right from the property, and even caught a few fish! We saw eagles dive for fish, met a turtle, and fell asleep to the loons calling, which was my favorite part. Thank you to Nancy for an unforgettable family trip!
We needed a quiet get away and we got it! Everything about the location and property was peaceful and relaxing. The large dining table was perfect for puzzles and games. My son did some fishing, and when the rain and wind stopped my two teens were able to kayak. The kitchen was perfect for making family meals.
This cottage was fantastic. Such a beautiful setting .The host Nancy was a great communicator. Easy to check in . We will be back ! The cottage was everything it said it was and more.
The house was amazing!! It was even better than described. This was the first time I had spent Easter away from my home in Western MA with my daughter, who is currently living in NH, and her family.
The whole house was very comfortable, inviting and immaculate. We had a bonfire every night. The way the house is situated you have water views on almost every side. It was very quiet and peaceful....a radical change from my life as an RN.
We had the amazing experience of witnessing two bald eagles diving in the water after a loon right outside of the living room window!! The house is right on the waters edge.
We would love to come back again .....hoping possibly this September for the foliage.
The property is private but within 1 mile of a main road. Because it sits at the end of a peninsula you have views from every window. It is is rustic and charming and modern all at the same time. Very thoughtfully decorated. The outside area is great as well. We just loved it!
Spent a few days at this hidden gem. The view was amazing and the accommodations were beyond expectations! Everything you need is there at your fingertips. Accommodations were clean, and just a beautiful spot to spend some much needed time away!! You won’t regret booking!
We had a excellent stay at The Woodshed - other reviewers have hit on this but it is the perfect mix of rustic charm and modern amenities. The bright main living area provides beautiful views of the lake and the coffee on the deck is a treat. The firepit setup looks great although it was a little too cold to enjoy sitting outside this trip, another time! The beds are comfortable and our kids enjoyed the custom bunk beds. Nancy was a pleasure to work with, checkin/checkout instructions were clear and the property was very clean and as advertised. All in all, a great VRBO experience - would recommend!
I would like to start by saying this is truly the prefect spot if you are looking for some private time away. Perfectly located off the main road hidden in the woods. Beautiful and quiet scenery i look forward to visiting the property in the near future. And speaking of property the owner was great.
Cabin was beautiful and everything we needed was there! Went shopping at outlets, skiing, and found some great restaurants! It was a blast for our first non-beach trip!
The house is perfect for friends or a family to escape to! The house is in great condition, spacious and right on the lake— a bonus is that it is less than a mile away from a grocery store, Walgreens and other stores in case you forget anything. I would definitely recommend!
We had an amazing weekend celebrating our daughters' birthday at this perfect lake house. The home includes everything you need to settle in and enjoy the beautiful views of the lake. Comfortable and cozy with perfect woodsy cabin decor, we were able to relax and enjoy our weekend. Nancy was accommodating and responsive and helped us have a great weekend.
There is so much to love about this beautiful place, from the incredible peninsula setting to the many delightful details found throughout the home. Everything is designed for a relaxing and restorative stay. We can't thank Nancy enough and hope to return soon.
We had a recharging 3 day stay at this serene cottage surrounded by the lake. The house is cozy and beautifully decorated and furnished with all essentials. The fire pit was amazing for s’mores and fun family times. The girls were able to explore the frozen lake around. Highly recommend the place and Nancy was gracious and prompt with her responses!
