This was a ladies trip consisting of myself, my daughter and 2 adult granddaughters. We came to the beautiful city of Natchez to participate in the Junkin on the River. The home we had the privilege of staying in was beautiful! Wonderfully furnished and centrally located. I recommend this cottage very highly!
My husband and I really enjoyed our visit to Natchez. One of the reasons we enjoyed it so much was being able to stay in this beautiful old home. It has so much character and charm. The location couldn't be better, it is within walking distance to down town Natchez. Check in and check out were flawless and very easy communication with the owner. I can't recommend this place enough. I'm already asking my husband about when we can go back!
One of the BEST vacation homes I’ve ever stated at! Everything you need (it seemed like it anyway) was there. Seasonings, hot sauce, coffee filters, sugar, cream, aluminum foil….. and everything else we needed. Wonderful old house full of beautiful antiques. And I mean beautiful. Great location, close to everything. Book this place right now if you’re staying in Natchez. No need to look at any more places!

Pretty home, cool features
This house was so much fun to stay in! I love old homes and it felt like I took a step back in time. The antiques were beautiful and intriguing. It was a good location and we were able to take advantage of many of Natchez’s offerings which we enjoyed.
A few drawbacks, the house was clean but the blinds and fans were really thick with dust. The glade plug ins were extremely strong. And the traffic was really noisy, the Friday night, my teenage daughter and I were up most of the night with the sounds of cars and motorcycles. A sound machine may be a good idea.
The second night I slept on the couch and it seemed to be better. However, there was a claim that we damaged the sofa so not sure that’s the best idea. Get the insurance. I strongly considered the $3k deposit vs the insurance. Thankfully I got the insurance. I requested clarification about the damage with no response. A second claim was also filed about damage to the countertop. The only thing I could think was the wine bottle ring which I saw but didn’t have a magic eraser to clean. These claims didn’t cost me extra but as someone with integrity I wanted to know.
Numerous period furnishings set the stage for history and antique aficionados. Very responsive owners assisted with a couple of questions promptly and decisively.
Roofed and lit carport was super helpful. Location in historic heart is very convenient and provides good base for exploring, dining and sightseeing on foot. Just 2-3 miles from Natchez Trace terminus. There is some road traffic noise at this location.
My friend and I took our daughters aged 15, 13, and 8 for a weekend getaway. I spoked them by saying the bed was haunted by the man in the living room painting. Netflix was perfect for the girls to watch tv. Very convenient spot and comfortable beds:)
