Awesome Family Vacation

My husband and I rented this house for our daughters, their spouses and my four grandchildren. This property is even more beautiful in person. Had all the amenities and more. We had the best time hanging out on the dock and riding out on Lake Gaston. We had a memorable time and would love to do it again.

Fantastic Fun!

The property was spectacular with the pool, kayak, open-concept rooms, gorgeous sunroom, and of course the bunk beds! Our entire family loved our experience here and we are dying to come back ASAP;)

Lovely house on the lake! Dock is amazing. Great for families

The house is lovely, spacious and the dock is absolutely wonderful. The home suited our grandparents plus 3 adult grown families and grandkids. The bunk room is so fun. Agree with other reviews about upgrading kitchen supplies to match the caliber of a luxury home but everything was still fine and usable. Water was about 4.5’ deep so use caution jumping off. Would stay again!!!

Fantastic house!

Absolutely loved our stay and overall experience with this property and host! The house is absolutely beautiful! Communication with the host was fantastic with quick responses and great follow up. Truly a prime example of great customer service and satisfaction! Would highly recommend this property!

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing

Where do we begin?! From the home to the pier on the lake! AMAZING! We were able to dock our two boats and Fish off the pier, yes there is that much space! Kayaks provided. Easy access to amenities within the home, lake and home pool. Location of the home is perfect! The home was beautifully decorated and very modern! Highly recommend this VRBO! We hope to be back next year!

Modern Lakehouse

We had a great time at Lake Gaston staying at this amazing, beautifully built modern home. The kids room was a hit and it was hard to get my daughter to leave to enjoy the lake. The layout lends itself great for socializing in the common area. Location and Structure 5/5 Wi-Fi 1/5 - as other reviews stated the Wi-Fi was abysmal. The owners did provide a mifi but with 5 adults and a hungry iPad watching toddler it didn’t go far. I’m all for reconnecting with nature buuut we love to stream movies at night as family, which was impossible. I saw some new tech in the closets of the home so I’m hoping an upgrade is coming soon! Pool 1/5 one of the main reasons I booked this home is for the pool/hot tub combo so the smaller kids could go swimming. But it was just a hot tub/hot tub combo plus you couldn’t control the temp. With high outside temps, the hot tubs were unusable especially for children that are sensitive to water temps. This was pretty disappointing. Overall, we had a lovely time but this felt like a premium property but there were some premium amenities missing.

Great location and house

Really enjoyed this lake house and all the amenities. Kayaks, outdoor grill, fully stocked kitchen, lovely house and screened porch, huge hot tub, and dock.

Beautiful home

This house was beautiful. I loved the open floor plan and the natural lighting. The hot tub/pool was the perfect touch during our winter stay. Great communication with the hosts.

Perfect home!

Great home for a family vacation on the lake. With two large masters; you can accommodate multiple families. Every bedroom has its own bathroom! And the kids room was amazing!

Great house, great for a family trip

The house was great for a family trip. It was very clean and came well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Our family enjoyed the pool, the great patio area, the 2 kayaks, and the solo stove fire pit. We would highly recommend the place. The only two negatives are the WiFi was very spotty and the water by the dock was very shallow so not very swimmable right off the dock, but the pool made up for that as the kids loved it. The owner and the property manager are great and very responsive.

Perfect Post Pandemic Reunion

We had a great stay at this lake house. It was perfect for a trip reuniting with family after COVID. The owner was very responsive with any questions and welcomed us via text. We were three adult couples and an 18 month old. The house is beautiful and very child friendly. Not a lot of clutter or sharp corners, and plenty of space for our son to explore. The kids' room is awesome. Our son was too little to stay in it alone, but he loved playing in the fort (as did the adults)! The lay out allows for all together time and enough privacy for everyone to go to their separate corners when desired. Great outdoor space, and the extra large hot tub/Phelps pool was perfect for a little splash. The kayaks and lake access were great too. All bedrooms had bathrooms, and the open kitchen/dining/living area allowed us enough space to hang out inside on a stormy day without feeling cramped. The house is in a great location a short drive to the main downtown strip in Littleton with a great coffee shop, grocery store and cute small shops. My only suggestion to make it even more perfect would be to dial up the dining, serving and kitchen gear to match the quality of the beautiful kitchen. We hope to return next year!

Beautiful property

This beautiful lake house was everything and more my family was looking for as we met from all different parts of the country to reunite after many years. The property manager was extremely attentive to any/all our needs. We enjoyed cooking, kayaking, fishing off the dock, enjoying the pool and jacuzzi, as well as the spacious living areas to include the very large deck. Look forward to coming back!

Great Spot for a Family!

Wonderful time at a really cool house at the lake. Was for a 12 of us - 6 adults and 6 kids aged 8 to 14. Plenty of space. Great outdoor amenities. The kids loved the pool and the hot tub. The lake was cold but we got some kayaking in. Very clean and well decorated - very European style. The master bathroom shower has no door on it (by design...again very European). Dish network gives you everything you want to watch. Network access was not so great - but the owner left a hotspot so that helped. Plenty of space to keep your drinks with two fridges.

Beautiful home in gorgeous location

The house is spacious, comfortable, filled with light and with amazing views. Our party (two families) thoroughly enjoyed the conveniences, both outdoors and indoors. It is specially fun for kids (ours were ages 2 to 7). They loved the room with the bunk bed (shaped as a playhouse) because it was full of surprises (color changing lights, chalk board, a TV in the top bed, and a third level inside the wall, and plenty of toys). The jacuzzi/pool was a hit with kids and adults alike, and so were the kayak trips around the lake. The owner, Zeb, was very responsive and permanently available to answer any doubts and requests. All and all, it was a great experience!

Contemporary Lake House on Lake Gaston

This is a beautiful and well decorated lake house on Lake Gaston conveniently located on the North Carolina and Virginia border. With all the conveniences of a home away from home, it is located in the quaint town of Littleton, NC and if you are looking for a perfect weekend getaway with family or friends or just some time to be away from urban living, this is a great place. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the basic supplies to cook family meals - we brought our own groceries although there are some grocery stores close by. The home also has plenty of living space - both indoors (lovely living room and open concept kitchen and dining room) and outside with a small pool, hot tub, fire pit and back porch. The bedrooms are spacious, clean and well decorated. The house was also well stocked with supplies for the outdoors such as kayaks etc. The highlight, however, is the views of the water from pretty much every room in the house and lots of natural light. The owner was very responsive throughout the process and gave us clear instructions for check in and check out procedures which were pretty straightforward and painless. All in all, this was a great home to stay in and we definitely hope to go back!

Beautiful Lake Gaston Home - Thanksgiving 2020

This was our first time at Lake Gaston and we would highly recommend this property as it is new, clean, very private with tasteful décor. Great views of the lake with easy access via the private dock. Host provided wonderful hospitality and response. Especially liked the screened in porch (with TV) as it was another place to gather while viewing the lake. Fully outfitted gourmet kitchen with a separate wet bar and refrigerator. Would rent again when visiting.
