Enjoy the perfect getaway and experience true Maine living in our quiet log cabin located only about 10-15 minutes from downtown Bar Harbor and even closer to the entrance of Acadia National Park. Our well-appointed, fully air-conditioned home, features a spacious living room, bright kitchen, 3 bedrooms (a king bed, one queen bed, and two twin beds) and 2 bathrooms. As you drive up to our property on our newly paved driveway, you are greeted by a welcoming farmer's porch. The main floor includes the living room, fully-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and a full bath. The lower level includes the master bedroom with king bed, bathroom and shower. This lower level has a door to the outside, and each room throughout the house includes ceiling fans that keep everything very cool, even in the summer months. Air conditioning is available in every room. Also we have a charcoal grill, Google Home to stream music, wireless high-speed Internet throughout the whole house, a picnic table, as well as a washer/dryer.

Cozy cabin in the Maine Woods

Great property. Beautiful cabin, well-furnished, very clean & well organized. Kitchen had everything we needed. Property manager was very responsive & helpful. At the cabin you almost feel like you are alone in the Maine woods, but you are only a few minutes from downtown Bar Harbor. Lots of windows so you can enjoy those woods as much as you want We both loved it.

Fantastic family trip

What an amazing place, it was better than we ever expected. The cabin was so welcoming, they thought of everything and it was so clean. It felt like home. I love to cook and all the cooking utensils, knives, and pots and pans were first class! They had everything we needed, including spices! We had great communication with the owner, he was on top of everything! If we ever come back to Maine I would definitely want to stay here again!

Perfect

The cabin is in the perfect location and in a secluded area surrounded by trees. Very peaceful. There is nothing more you could want from the residence. The kitchen is stocked with every utensil necessary to feel at home. Very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect escape

An amazing amd smooth experience from start to finish. Trust me when I say everything was perfectly equipped for a family of four to settle in seamlessly. Convenient distances to Acadia and Bar Harbor. We were in and out frequently due to the short drives to exploration. Owner is incredibly communicative and reliable. The house is so comfortable and just as advertised. Highly recommend this place!

Fantastic Stay in a Prime Location

My family and I recently stayed at this wonderful VRBO property and had an excellent experience. The location was absolutely perfect, making it easy to explore all the local attractions. Whether it was hiking ,dining, shopping, or sightseeing, everything was just a short drive away. The property itself was well-equipped with plenty of amenities, making our stay incredibly comfortable. From the fully stocked kitchen to the high-speed Wi-Fi, every detail was thoughtfully considered. The living areas were spacious and cozy, providing a great space to relax after a day of exploring. Cleanliness is a top priority for me, and this property exceeded my expectations. Everything was spotless, and it was clear that the host takes great care in maintaining the property to a high standard. Speaking of the host, they were fantastic—responsive and friendly. They provided clear instructions and were readily available to answer any questions we had. Overall, this VRBO property provided an excellent home base for our trip. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable and convenient place stay.

Fabulous cabin on wooded lot.

We can’t say enough about this wonderful cabin. We spent a week as a family of 4. Close enough to Acadia and Bar Harbor but far enough away to relax at the end of a full day of hiking, biking and exploring! This cabin had everything we needed!

Outstanding Vacation Home near Acadia!

This home was welcoming, very clean, beautifully decorated and was so well cared for!!! All communications to owner were quickly responded to and 100% on target for questions we asked. The house is in a quiet section, perfect for star gazing, 10 minutes to Bar Harbor and so close to Acadia entrances and all that Acadia offers!!! We loved this property and will be back!!! Outstanding host and property!

The cabin with everything

The cabin was just as cozy, neat and clean as pictured. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked along with quality linens for the baths and beds. We especially appreciated the location of the cabin which was only 10 - 15 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia. After a day of hiking, we enjoyed relaxing on the front porch. Matt was gracious and quickly responded to our questions. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax that is well-appointed and a host that genuinely cares about his guests, then you can't go wrong with renting this cabin.

Family getaway to Bar Harbor

The cabin is cozy, quaint, and clean, and in a perfect location. Close to downtown and Acadia but tucked away enough to enjoy a quiet evening away from the hustle and bustle. It is well stocked and you can tell someone took the time to consider what guests might need while staying there. We felt right at home. We will definitely be staying here again during our next trip up!

Amazing, cozy, super-clean cabin!!

Our family of five (kids ages 21,19,17) just stayed in this cabin for a week, and I must say that it was the nicest VRBO that we have stayed in yet! Incredibly cozy, amazingly clean, welcoming decor…. The location was absolutely perfect and we were able to do the things in town that we enjoyed, then come back to the cabin for a cozy evening as a family! We truly enjoyed playing board games around the dining room table, snuggling up and watching a show together, or having a bonfire and roasting marshmallows for s’mores. My daughter immediately exclaimed that she wants to come back when she’s older, and bring some friends!! Matt was so helpful and informative, and provided wonderful recommendations of restaurants and things to do in the area. This was one of our most memorable family vacations and we definitely hope to come back soon!! :)

Perfect cabin close to Acadia and Bar Harbor

This was such a fantastic trip for us- the cabin truly felt like home and was cozy, comfortable and well stocked with some essentials! We will stay here again-Bar Harbor and Acadia will be a regular place for us to escape the summer heat and the cabin will be our home away from home!!

Peace and quiet in a comfortable cabin!!

First time visitors to Maine. Our family loves to vacation to National Parks and this home was very convenient for our day trips in to the park and visits to Bar Harbor. The cabin was very clean and was well appointed. The host was easy to contact. We were very comfortable staying here and would recommend this vacation home for anyone looking. It was on a nice, quiet cul de sac street and just enough into the woods for privacy. We loved that we even saw deer and chipmunk. If we visit Maine again, we would 100 % rent here again!!

Great Stay in a Wonderful Cabin!

This cabin was fabulous for our week-long stay in Bar Harbor. The location is perfect and minutes away from Acadia National Park. Downtown Bar Harbor is only 10 minutes away. The cabin is very clean, nicely decorated, and is fully stocked with kitchen items and linens. When we had questions, Matt responded quickly and was also very responsive prior to our trip when we made inquiries. This is a wonderful place to stay, and we highly recommend it!!

Wonderful stay in Acadia / Bar Harbor

The house was great and worked well for our family. It was clean, well maintained, and well stocked. The location was great for getting to many places without too far of a drive, particularly Bar Harbor, but also the Hulls Cove Visitor Center, Eagle Lake, multiple carriage trail entry points, Cadillac Mountain, Jordan Pond House, etc. Matt was a great host and very responsive. We'd definitely stay again.

Lovely Town Hill Cabin

My family (husband and three young adult sons) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was as described and was very clean. It was the perfect location to be close enough to all of the hiking trails and attractions, but private enough to enjoy the quiet when our sightseeing was done for the day. We all enjoyed reading on the deck. Matt, as a host, was attentive and responsive. It was a great week!

Best VRBO in the Bar Harbor area

This luxury cabin was perfect for my family. It was very clean, well maintained and had plenty of space for all of us. It is situated in a quiet wooded location just 15 minutes away from all the Bar Harbor and Trenton attractions. When we are in the area again we definitely want to reserve this VRBO.

Cozy cabin and perfect location!

The cabin was a perfect place to call home for our week in Acadia. We hiked every day (about a 10 minute drive to the park entrance) and looked forward to cocktail hour on the porch and dinner at the cabin. Our family enjoyed the corn hole game and the fire pit every night too. Matt responded within minutes to any question and even offered to bring us a backpack since we forgot to bring one along. The cabin is close to a small market and a short ride into town to a bigger grocery store and Bar Harbor restaurants All in all, a lovey week and I would definitely return!

Wonderful week in Acadia!

We had a truly fantastic time at Matt's cabin. It had everything we needed and more. We especially liked the basement suite downstairs. That would be perfect for a family traveling with extra family members. The kitchen was well stocked and perfect for when we decided to cook at home rather than eating out in bar harbor. Speaking of the town it's only a short drive away. We usually stay closer to downtown BH, but appreciated being a bit further out this time for the peace and quiet. We contacted Matt a couple of times about minor questions and he was ultra responsive. When I say "ultra" - I mean literally in a couple of minutes. He was an awesome host. Can't speak highly enough of our stay. It was wonderful. Thanks Matt!

Perfect location/Perfect house

We travel a lot as a family to hike in the national parks. We always rent a home when we do so. This was by far one of the best. It's perfectly placed and situated to feel like you're away from everyone but really you're close enough to drive anywhere. I don't think we've ever seen a cleaner more organized rental property in all our travels. Owner was super easy to get ahold of for any questions. Wouldn't even look at another home if we ever go to this area again. Thanks for everything Matt.

Great location , minutes from everything , clean, really nice cabin complete with everything you will need, just bring food but so many close restaurants you won’t need much, Acadia within minutes, will definitely stay again.
