Very miss leading in pictures. No Smoke alarms in all bdrms, couldnt lock all door entrances, one of the bathroom showers had no glass shield to prevent water spraying all over the vanity( with plug ins right there! Filthy madtet carpet
My co-workers and I stayed at Del Prado in the beginning of December. We enjoyed everything about Del Prado! From the moment you walk in the door, you feel like you stepped back in time.
We had a great time staying here! The house was clean and the beds were comfortable and the view was insane! We enjoyed the hot tub very much and the pool table was fun as well! Joe was very responsive and kind and it made the stay very stress free! Would definitely come again!!!
Every one loved the place. The view from all the windows is amazing to wake up to! Sunsets are impressive! Hot tub, pool, slide and diving board were a blast. Horses are sweet. Would go again!
This place is wonderful, the pool is great, and a nice size, and the hot tub is the best one we have had the use of, it is very big! The host is wonderful as well. There are many fruit trees, and ponies too! There is an elevator it was great to use. The beds are comfortable my daughter wanted to take hers home with her. A great home!
This was a wonderful place to stay. It was great to see the sun rise and set from the large windows. The pool and hot tub were a great bonus. The layout is very interesting and fun. My family also enjoyed feeding carrots and apples to the ponies and horses
This is a nice property to stay in if you like wine country and floating the river. We enjoyed the view and the indoor pool. The owner replied to comments and questions quickly.
We identified a couple of issues and reported to the home owner for their resolution.
Thanks for sharing your property with us.
This property is truly unique. It is located above the Naches Valley with great views of the valley and the surrounding areas. The sunrise was so stunning that my late sleeper friend got up at 5:30 each day to see it. The house is round with 10 foot windows facing the valley. The house is surrounded by fields and has horses on the property. The house also has an old elevator to get between the floors and a pool table. There are two bedrooms upstairs with queen or king beds and 2 downstairs, one with a queen and the other with 2 sets of bunk beds. It was a popular topic of conversation in our group of who built the house and why the made it the way they did. There is also a very large indoor swimming pool. The pool was a little cold, but since it was 100 degrees out that was fine with us.
The house was perfect for us, but some people probably wouldn't like it. It is quite old, probably built in the 50s. This is the second time we have been here and the owner is slowly renovating the place. The kitchen is quite dated and has mismatched utensils and plates. Some of the appliances had been moved, exposing small holes in the wall. One of the bathrooms is updated and has a very cool shower, while another still has 1960s sinks and a cramped shower. My golf buddies and I did not care about the small cosmetic problems, but if you do you will probably need to go with a more expensive option elsewhere.
This house is wild! It looks like it was the most decadent place people could even imagine in the 50's. When you're there you can totally imagine ladies in sleek evening gowns and fancy hairdos sipping martinis while men in loosened ties play snooker. The floor the ceiling windows in the living room and upstairs master are STUNNING. The architecture is textbook perfect for the era. There's even an old indoor elevator!
That said, this house is now very old and in need of some updating. But to be honest, because of that the price is very fair. For a house this big with these fabulous amenities (indoor pool, hot tub under the stars, snooker table, astounding views) the price is accurate and my budget is grateful that this house was on the more affordable side.
When we were there the pool was not heated so you might refrain from using it until it gets a little hotter outside. The nearby horses were nice, too.
Pros: Gorgeous view, horses on premises.
Cons: Owner ignoring our communication AND Our 2 night stay at "Del Prado Estates" was disappointing. This home fell way short of our expectations. The photographs on VRBO were CLEARLY taken many years ago. The house was very dirty and in disrepair. The house was FULL of flies and fly tape hung randomly throughout the house. It was gross and made cooking challenging. Very few towels for a house this size for 7 people. The kitchen dishes had crusty food bits on all and had to be rewashed. There were only 4 forks. The first night we had to rotate eating so we could wash forks for the next person. None of the locks on the sliding glass doors throughout the house worked. The elevator was sketch and did not have any inspection records posted in it and I *highly* doubt it’s being inspected on a regular basis. We found only 1 smoke detector in the entire home. While I understand that an older house might not have the same amenities as a newer one, there is an expectation that the host would provide a SAFE home for guests. Home was advertised as having a heated pool and a snooker table (one of the major reasons we rented the home). Bathroom #4 was in the pool house with a non-working shower & toilet. The pool was cold, not heated and every pool stick was warped and missing tips. As a result, we couldn’t use the snooker table. Guests downstairs could not use shower, too moldy, had to use upstairs showers. AVOID this wreck of a house!
Our volleyball team had a tournament at the Sundome and we wanted to find a house our players would enjoy, feel safe and relax after a full day of playing. This house checked all our boxes and had: a pool table, wall to wall windows, a hot tub and pool, beautifully kept grounds and ponies (including a baby!) that made us all giggle. The best part was waking up to the most stunning view and going to sleep seeing the lights of the city below.
We had an issue later in the evening (our own doing), the owner picked up right away and helped walk us through a solution. We would happily return again. Thank you!
The house was beautiful spacious and perfect for our group, we enjoyed the pool room, upstairs living room views were gorgeous (which made up for a lot) and the rooms were well set up besides the spare room - the few downfalls were not having the photo of the spare room on the site so our sleeping arrangements had to be changed up a bit. Also the hot tub and pool weren’t up kept so we couldn’t even enjoy those two amenities which was the reason we rented this house out. Lastly there was little to no utensils for breakfast.
This was our second time staying! We loved it as much as the first time and hope to return again! The beds are very comfy, the views are gorgeous, the pool is refreshing, and the memories will last forever!!!
We made a last minute decision to get our kids and grandkids together and felt fortunate to find this rental. The home is quite dated, but the grandkids thought it was amazing, and the view was amazing. Joe was fantastic, the pool is huge, and we had a great time!
