First time staying at this great property and will definitely return. The house itself is clean, roomy, very comfortable and has everything you need and more. Having the deck, grill, fire pit, outdoor shower, bikes and kayaks such an added bonus for sure. The neighborhood is great, particularly having the small beach across the street! Conveniently located to stores, restaurants, beaches, downtown etc.
Check in was seamless and hosts were easy to communicate with and very responsive.
So happy we chose this as our home away from home for our two weeks at the Cape.
The house was very clean and had lots to offer. The upstairs game room was a hit. We kayaked across the bay, played ping pong and listened to some great records.
I would give this rental the highest amount of stars I could. First the home was beautiful so cozy, so beautifully decorated so many amenities!! Then there is the gracious hosts Nikki and John, they were above and beyond kind and helpful . We loved the neighborhood and the location was easy to get to all the exciting Cape attractions. We can’t wait to return!!
The house has everything you need plus some. A little ways down the road, there is a place called beach 3. It is a very good place for swimming and taking the kayaks out. The beach is small but sandy and when you walk into the water it is nice and sandy to. You can go out quite a ways before your over your head. The stores are all nearby. The restaurants and ocean beaches are all nearby too. If we are able to we will rent this place again next year.
We enjoyed our stay at the property and the owner was super nice and very responsive. It's a great spot for families with dogs as it's in a quiet neighborhood. The house had everything we needed plus some.
Overall impression was good. Inside of the house was very clean. The outside deck could be cleaner as movement of furniture disclosed buildup of debris. Trash cans were gross. Part of the weekly maintenance should be rinsing these containers out as they presented a foul smell and bugs. A beach pass would be nice as renters should not be required to pay for the beaches.
We enjoyed our week here. The house had almost everything you would need in the kitchen. It was well stocked for the beach and kayaking. We were very happy to find a house in such a great location that allowed dogs!
Great place, close to beach and not too far from the center of Falmouth. We had a lovely week riding bikes, swimming and boating. The kids loved the Nintendo!
This property was wonderful, quite area, very close to all the restaurants and shops in Falmouth. Highly recommend this property, it was very clean and very comfortable!
We had a nice stay. Plenty of room with 3 bedrooms and a bath and one half. Houses are close together as neighborhood is built around the pond. We are more inclined to go to an ocean beach of which there are several within a short drive. This rental was a good value for Falmouth. Easy place to walk and enjoy the view. We used it as home base while we explored Falmouth’s restaurants, village shops, and Wood’s Hole.
We had a great week at this lovely property. The house comes equipped with everything one could wish for - including lots of games. We thoroughly enjoyed our evenings by the fireplace on the patio. The location is extremely convenient. Close to shops but also very quiet. The small beach across the street is an extra bonus, and our dog loved our little strolls there. Communication with the owners was super easy. We highly recommend this property and hope we can return!
The rental process went very smoothly. The hosts were very responsive. Enjoyed the kayaks, bicycles and dart board. Close to restaurants and activities.
The cottage was perfect for my husband, myself and our 2 kids (12 & 14). Exactly as described. Communication with the owners was great. Unfortunately Elsa cut our vacation short but everything was fabulous while we were there.

We are two biologists living in Boston and we always dreamed of having a place on the Cape. We both love the water and have a particular fondness for Falmouth. With its beaches, quaint downtown, and proximity to Woods Hole, it's the perfect respite from the city life. That's why we jumped at the opportunity to get this place. When we're there, we like to take our kayaks out on Great Pond for a paddle and then catch the sunset at Bristol Beach. The Cape House is truly a happy place for us, and we take every opportunity we can to get down there. We certainly hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do. By the way, do let us know if you find a whelk's shell or a shark's tooth!
Why they chose this property
You get the best of everything the Cape has to offer. You're across the street from a beautiful salt water pond with excellent bird watching and clamming, perfect for a paddle. The pond opens up to the Vineyard Sound with sandy beaches and excellent beach-combing potential. The place is also minutes from the charming Main Street of Downtown Falmouth (DO NOT MISS MAISON VILATTE!), but it is also close to supermarkets and other necessities. Lastly, there's a winery (Cape Cod Winery) near the entrance to the neighborhood and a brewery (Bad Martha) just down Route 28. It's really the perfect spot to either hole up for a week and enjoy nature, or go for day excursions anywhere on Cape Cod or the islands
What makes this property unique
Near beaches, pond access across the street with association beach, quiet neighborhood but not far from bustling downtown
