The home was very cool, Located in a Cul de sac. Very quiet day & night. Very very clean. Three levels. We enjoyed the middle level the most, where the kitchen is located. Nice big televisions with lots of watching options. Maybe some upkeep on outside areas on house. Had a small issue with check in as there were no instructions on Vrbo site, but owner was very quick to respond. Few kitchen cabinets didn't open but could be on purpose? Love the condiments & spices that were either left by owner or by others. Would recommend and stay here again.
We absolutely loved this place ans plan on staying there again when we come back. There are 3 levels, everyone had a chance to get away from eachother if they wanted, we all enjoyed playing ping pong, owner was quick to respond back to any questions, rooms were clean beds comfortable, dishes available. Overall my family really enjoyed this place, close to Camp Geiger and a really nice view.
It’s very clean but needs some updating. A few of the kitchen cabinets are stuck closed. Non of the outlets in the downstairs bathroom worked. Unable to sit on top balcony because the chairs were broken.
Close to walk kids to sturgeon park, close to everything we need. Right between both bases which we had business at both. Clean home, select left over stuff from previous guest was cool, we added to it. Nice when you forget to buy something like mustard and Tabasco.
I would definitely stay again! The listing was accurate, clean, and host responded quickly. I will be staying in the future :)

The host was amazing and available since we didn’t receive the check in/out instructions. Perfect for families. There were games, board games, TV’s, and space to be alone if you needed a break. The view was perfect. It was a very relaxing trip. Will more than likely be back.
It was beautiful, conveniently located near camp lejeune, the mall, restaurants, and yes Starbucks! Very quiet neighborhood, house was very well stocked. I will definitely be using again…
My husband and I came to Jacksonville to visit our Marine son. This property was very close to Camp Lejeune, but not so close that our son felt like he wasn’t on vacation.
I couldn’t find the code to get into the house, the host quickly responded to my message and we were inside in no time!
When I was searching for a property, I was looking for convenience (centrally located), great amenities (comforts of home) and safety. This house fit all. We had nightly ping pong tournaments and enjoyed watching our son’s favorite shows in the smart tvs.
I hope to stay here again the next time we visits N.C.
Thanks!
I loved the view. Drinking coffee in the morning while watching the boaters going out to fish was very calming. The beds are very comfortable and the ping pong table and arcade console are great fun.
Had a wonderful time. Beautiful stay looks just like the pictures and is in a very convenient location. Mr.Hart was very quick to respond to any questions and concerns. Everything was amazing including the game room and kitchen.
We stayed a weekend to visit our Marine over his New Years liberty. The house was perfect. The ping pong table ended up being the highlight of the stay. The kids got us in on plenty of team matches, and we had a lot of fun. There was also a mini fridge and an arcade game. The first floor was the fun floor, and we spent most of our time there.
The second floor was a little more relaxed. We cooked a meal here, and everything worked out. We brought some items from home we thought may be necessary, and that worked out. The accommodations for cooking and serving were pretty good. The appliances were better than expected. The refrigerator was very clean. We didn’t have any issues. Making or serving a meal.
The third floor was where we retired for the nights. Two bedrooms with very comfortable beds. So comfortable, that my wife said it may be time to replace ours now.
It was a great visit, and the host was very responsive when we had any questions.
Thanks again, and happy new year!!!
We had a great time! We visited our son and his family stationed in Jacksonville to celebrate our youngest granddaughter's 1st birthday. The neighbors are friendly, even let us hang out on their dock with them. House was clean, stocked with everything we needed and even plenty of room for our grandchildren to stay a couple nights with us. Would recommend and stay again.
What we experienced was what the promotional pictures showed. The property was clean, and nicely furnished. All the appliances worked well, and even laundry detergent was provided. The neighborhood was quiet, for the most part, but some of the homes on the street are under renovation due to hurricane damage from several years ago. We were just minutes away from restaurants, stores, and New River base. A great option when visiting your marine.
As advertised overlooks bay albeit across a street. It appears that some renovations had been done recently….touch up paint in bathrooms. Sticky kitchen cabinets. All In all a nice place to stay and venture off from. We spent most of our time out at Surf City and Topsail beach……25 minutes away. These two places are NOT on the outer banks….that’s 3.5 hours away according to Google maps. Wilmington is about 45 minutes. The game room turned out to be quite the hot spot. When there this room is where we hung out the most.
