House is a two-minute paved walk to Pirates beach. Relax on the generous deck and listen to the waves. Views of the ocean can be seen from anywhere in the kitchen/dining/living areas. Modern kitchen is fully stocked. Great house for allergy sufferers with air purifiers in each of the bedrooms. Mattresses are fully encased in allergy/dust covers. Perfect location on the west end of Galveston where there are fewer crowds, yet still less than 20 minutes from Moody Gardens and 25 minutes to the Historic Strand District. Large backyard area perfect for games or grilling. Shower downstairs is perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach.

Pirates Beach trip

Our family enjoyed our stay. The proximity to the beach and views are great. The neighborhood is also very nice and quiet if you’re wanting to stay away from some of the other busier beaches. The house was the perfect size for our group and met all of our needs.

Fantastic trip!

This was our families second year staying at this house and we absolutely loved it! We came in the day after TS Alberto hit and while the tide was high the first couple of days, the weather was gorgeous, the waves were so much fun for my 7 yr old boys to ride and we found so many amazing seashells! We cannot wait to book the house again next year.

Final getaway before school starts

Stayed with husband, daughter and two grandkids Sunday thru Thursday. Lovely clean home, very comfortable and close to beach. Stayed down the street on the beach in May and prefer this house. Would definitely stay here again.

Weekend getaway

We had a great weekend getaway at Angela’s house. The location was perfect …the neighborhood was beautiful and the beach was just a short walk away. Best Beach House Ever!!

We had a wonderful time at this beach house!! The location was perfect…we had breakfast on the deck, while listening to the sound of the ocean. And such a close walk to the beach!! Vacay with grands before school starts

Weekend Getaway

What a wonderful home! The location is perfect. I literally counted 115 steps from the driveway to the sand. The views from the deck were wonderful. The kitchen was one of the best that we have every had of all of the West End beach houses we have rented. We will rent this place again.

Amazing house with a gorgeous view!

We had a blast on our week long stay. The house was stocked well with dishes, the beds were comfortable and the porch view was fantastic!!! The shutters were a huge plus, it kept the rooms dark which helped my 7 yr old twins to sleep in! The house is around 200 steps to the water. Will definitely come back!

Family Retreat

We love everything about this property! It is a perfect fit for our small family of 5+1. this was our 4th stay. The location is superb, just a few houses back from the beach with a great view of the water from the deck and living room. The spacious living area of the house is full of light, the kitchen is well-equipped, the beds are comfortable. The palm trees on either side of the house are a great asset as they provide a some privacy from the neighbors when we are on the deck, but don't interfere with the view. Our happy place. Thank you to the owners!

Great location, great house

You can't beat the location. We were half a block from the beach. From the deck you can hang out and watch the ocean. There are three bedrooms and the house had everything we needed. It was easy to order meals from local places and eat at the house. We could watch Netflix, CBS On Demand and YouTube. The neighborhood was quiet and it was only a few minutes drive into the main part of Galveston if you wanted. The owner was very responsive when we had a couple of comments. I went with my parents and my 12 yo son and everyone had their own room. Would definitely stay here again.

You won’t find any better!

This property is practically perfect! My husband and I took our three young kids to the beach to celebrate the end of our school year. Everything from check-in to check-out was awesome. The beach is a 2 minute walk to the end of the quiet cul-de-sac. The beach itself was clean and quiet. The house was very clean and homey. It had everything you could want - a complete kitchen with a few staples (salt and pepper, aluminum foil, cling wrap and quart ziplocks bags), two clean and cute bathrooms complete with extra towels and toilet paper, a master bedroom, guest room and bunk room with noise fans, folding chairs and sand toys in the outside shower. The bunk room had a basket with miscellaneous games. We ate at Waterman’s and Mario’s Pizza - both were delicious! Angela was super sweet and prompt with the few questions we had. We will definitely be returning!

Lovely home just a short walk to the beach

This is a lovely, well-equipped home that is a short and easy walk to the beach. I slept in the master bedroom and can honestly say it was the most comfortable bed I've slept on outside of my own. Others in my family also commented on how comfortable and inviting the entire house was. As the pictures show, you have beautiful, unobstructed views of the ocean from several places in the home. We loved sitting in either the living room or decks outside and watching the waves. This part of the beach is clean (we've stayed near the seawall before, and the Galveston beaches sadly often have trash - that was not the case here). It's about a 15 minute drive to town, which we preferred because we wanted a more low-key vacation away from so many people. The owner is incredibly communicative and helpful! We had an issue with an appliance, and she was very proactive in dealing with it and updating us along the way. I highly recommend this property!

Second time to stay here

This is the second time that we stay here because we love this house! Very clean, open and close to beach. Kitchen has everything that we need and the wrap around porch is perfect for sitting and watching the sunset or drinking morning coffee. Plan to come back!
