Great Location For Boaters, Poor Management
This was our third year staying at this house. We are avid boaters, so the location is prime, 5-10 minutes to open water! The house was clean and full of everything you could possibly need. Our only complaint came with the failing tv service and the less than helpful assistance. This was surprising, as in the past, the management has been very helpful. There was an unexplained power outage, which obviously affected the internet. The main tv in the living room could not find the network to reconnect when the power resumed. Yes, we are tech savvy and tried everything to help the tv find the network. When communicating with the manager and still not getting a response until I texted again 24 hours later, he told me “I have tried calling the owner, no response. He is a pilot,” A few hours later we were told that the internet was reset. But that was NOT the problem. He told me there was nothing else he could do because he was 71 years old. Beyond that, there was no other help. We had to solve this issue on our own and move tvs around in the house. After returning home, I texted Don to ask him a second time to have the owner log us out of a streaming service that we had logged in to when he got the tv reconnected to the network. Don ghosted us!! As I said, the past two years Don was great whenever we had a question or concern. This year, Don was far less helpful. For that reason, we could not give this trip a 5 star rating, as we have done in the past.
