Beautiful home with lots a privacy right on the lake. We didnt have to think about anything but food. Very cozy and confortable. We stayed with family and each couple had a floor which gave a little bit of privacy when needed. We cooked one night for the entire family and there was plenty of room for all 17 of us to mingle and enjoy the evening.
Cabin was awesome! The owner was very helpful. The dock was great especially with the boat lift. The only small negative is it was shallow in front of the dock making navigation a bit harder with the boat. But overall very nice place!
Very nice place. Wifi didnt work which meant one of the guest had to leave earlier than expected. Owner did what she could to get it fixed but not before we left. She did offer another property to go ise wifi. Air conditioning in the description but really only a wndow unit upstairs which isnt enough for a big house. Luckily it didn't get too hot outside. Location is remote and no noise from neighbors. Again a very nice house which I'm sure others would enjoy. Owner was great with questions and replied quickly.
This was our 2nd trip back to Musky Point and we had an excellent experience again. Great communication. Beautiful view out the many windows. Perfect weather. We had everything we needed and will be back!
This place fit our family well, including our grandkids, (3 and 5 yrs old). We had plenty of room to relax and nice to have family eating together on the three-season porch.. We enjoyed the fishing and playing in the water; we visited the sand bar by boat twice, which allowed us to cool off on the real hot days. The house was comfortably furnished and everything worked for the most part (we had only about two hour difficulty with internet connection on on one day). It was a short trip to town if we needed anything. This is the best cabin/getaway in the last three years. We will return here if we can match schedules.
We had a nice get- away on Lake Sissabagama! The cabin was super clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed. The campfire was perfect will level ground and wood available. We had good fishing every time that we went out. Thank you for the great stay. We will consider returning to this wonderful cabin!
My husband and I recently stayed here during the Birkie week, along with both of our parents and 2 dogs. We arrived during a snowstorm. Lynn was a great host and contacted us to make sure we arrived safely. There was a ton of snow and being a remote location, Lynn stayed in contact with us to inform about plowing and help us with a repair needed for the water heater due to temps and snow. Overall, the stay was great, cabin very cozy and clean. We would definitely stay here again.
Thank you for a great week!
Our family had a wonderful time at this home. Perfect size for my adult children and their kids to enjoy good family time. A fresh 10" of snow made it even better as we warmed our feet by the cozy fireplace. Lynn was a wonderful kind host!
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home right on the lake! We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful get away that is secluded yet close to great restaurants and only 20 minutes from Hayward!
This was a nicely furnished house with comfortable beds and a good supply of kitchen utensils. The owner provided us with an additional kitchen item that we had requested. There were plenty of sharp knives, which a cook always appreciates! We would definitely stay here again.
The cabin was very clean and a perfect size for our family of 7 adults and 3 small children. The location is very private with a definite feel of the northwoods. We rented a pontoon from a local shop and the fishing was good. We also used it for swimming in the middle of the lake since the lake is shallow near the dock with lily pads. The owner was clear that the swimming area was still being developed. The owner was very responsive to our questions.
We've stayed at many cabin rentals in the Hayward area over the last few years on many different lakes trying to find somewhere we'd repeat and this cabin is a keeper. Lynn is a great communicator and responded to my questions so quickly both before we were on the property and during our rental. The cabin is incredibly well stocked with all kinds of comforts provided so you don't need to worry about lugging extra things from home. Even on the couple hot hot July days we were quite comfortable. The cabin is even better than the photos. Loved being right on the lake and having amazing morning and evening views right from the living room. Close boat plug in was also a huge plus for us. And thank you for being dog friendly! We plan to be back next summer!
Our family really enjoyed our stay at Musky Point Hideaway. Being able to use the dock for our fishing boat was a huge bonus. And our kids really enjoyed using the kayaks that are at the property. As parents, we especially loved sitting on the deck, drinking our coffee in the mornings, and then enjoying the evening colors on the water at sunset. The house itself was great for our family too. Plenty of space for the kids to play games at night, plenty of bedrooms for them to have their own space, and 2 bathrooms was a must for a bigger family. We took the kids tubing on the lake a couple days, but then went fishing almost every evening and caught bluegills, perch, bass, crappies, and walleye while listening to the loons sing. A wonderful getaway!!
