Life is good when taking in the expansive North Georgia mountain views or adventuring in the 8,000 acres of Big Canoe wilderness and amenities. View Amicalola Falls from the back deck!
Connecting with family and friends is what The Cabin at Big Canoe is all about. 4,000 square foot, 4 bedroom, 3 bath, custom home newly renovated with plenty of room.
Big Canoe is just 1 hour from Atlanta.

Fully equipped chefs kitchen, basement game room, expansive deck and plenty of room to reconnect.

Master Bedroom- 1 King Bed and a Day Sofa
Bedroom 2- Two Full Beds
Bedroom 3- 2 Bunk Beds with a full bed on the bottom, twin beds on top. Plus 2
cots available in closet.
Bedroom 4- Two queen beds. Plus 2 cots available in closet.

There is also a sofa in the downstairs TV/Game area.

Situated in Big Canoe gated community. The Cabin at Big Canoe offers swimming pools, lakes for swimming, fishing and boat rentals, canoe, kayak, 27 holes of golf, 20 miles of hiking trails, Spa and fitness center, tennis and racquet ball.

Note that Golf, Swimming Pools, Tennis and Boat rentals have a daily rate for use. Contact Big Canoe directly for booking/reservations.
If you would like to rent a pontoon boat go ahead and do that as they get booked far in advance.

Perfect Family House for any getaway

We just stayed at this property and the views and property were amazing! It was peaceful, comfortable, and perfect for a large family. We enjoyed every bit of our stay. The host David and Mandy are absolutely incredible! Very attentive, helpful, courteous, and professional. They did not miss anything when it came to a gracious host. We will be back and already planning a summer trip and another Christmas Trip. Thank you David and Mandy!

Amazing!!

This property is amazing. We had everything we needed and the owners were very attentive. They responded immediately always. The Big canoe property was beautiful with plenty to do. We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful Cabin @ Big Canoe

Our family has rented quite a few cabins in our past and I must say that this one was everything described and more. I loved the furnishings, kitchen, game room, layout of this cabin and great kitchen. The views are wonderful. Another huge plus is that the driveway is easy to maneuver. We had Two full-sized trucks and Two SUV's that parked and turned around in the driveway without any problem. It is a nice level driveway which is a huge plus! We could've easily parked 2 more cars in the driveway and 2 in the garage which we was empty and we did not use. The owner's were fantastic in their follow-up for all questions. We live in the Roswell/Crabapple/Milton area so Big Canoe is very easy and quick to get to, while still feeling as though we were far away. I very much look forward to coming back to Big Canoe again and this will be the first cabin we'll try to reserve!!

Beautiful & Cozy

Beautiful home, so cozy with wonderful views. So spacious lots of room in literally every area/room. Lots indoor activities in game room. Perfect set up. Owner was extremely helpful and answered our questions so quickly.

6th Annual Retreat

There were 14 of us, we are all at least 50 and up, we sat and: Laughed Ate Knit Learned Enjoyed Each other for 3 wonderful days! We have already booked for next year, great place!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

The home far exceeded our expectations and slept 14 adults comfortably. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful and well appointed home for our girls’ weekend. The amenities of Big Canoe make for a perfect playground for adults. We enjoyed hiking, tennis, the pools and beach club.

Incredible home and neighborhood

Held a small family reunion and gathering at this home, which was stocked full of everything we needed for sleep, fun and food! The community was also perfect for a getaway vacation.

Best cabin

This cabin is fantastic! We had three families for the weekend and we had plenty of space! It’s beautifully decorated, plenty of parking, a garage, and the back deck has a fantastic view. The owner is very friendly, and responds quickly. We all want to come back next year!

Perfect 4th Of July Vacation!

We had an amazing time a this gorgeous house! The view was beautiful and the covered deck made it perfect to sit and enjoy. The open concept kitchen/family room was perfect for our large group to all hang out together. We had a lot of fun downstairs in the game room, especially our teenagers. We also really enjoyed the beach club and sliding rock, there are plenty of great amenities in Big Canoe. We all agreed that the 4th of July fireworks were the best we have ever seen, really made for a special trip! Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect accomidations.

We had a group of 8 golfers and the home accommodated and even outperformed our expectations. Each person had their own bed (with a few to spare), a large deck overlooking the mountains, a flat driveway for cornhole, huge kitchen with all of the necessities, ping pong, pool table and even a kitchen in the basement. It was perfect and will would definitely go back.

Wedding weekend cabin for the groom/groomsmen

Perfect place for our son and his groomsmen over his wedding weekend. Adequate parking, more than adequate sleeping spaces, gathering spaces, great activities for guys without leaving the cabin, all with amazing view. This is a beautiful rental

Amazing Cabin

This house was absolutely gorgeous. It was more spacious then it looks on the pictures. David was awesome during the whole process and was readily available. Will definitely book this home in the future.

Wonderful Family Christmas

We chose this property for our family's Christmas vacation. We had 5 different families with 7 kids of various ages. The rooms were large and had plenty of space to accommodate the 16 people we had staying. The rooms had comfortable clean bedding. The kitchen was large and perfect for cooking for a large group. The downstairs had a nice game room that was great for keeping the kids occupied/entertained as well as good family time. Prior to our stay I reached out to the homeowner to find out about any potential holiday decor so my family could prepare accordingly. The homeowner was super responsive and even surprised us by having a beautiful Christmas tree put up which was above and beyond! I cannot say enough positive things about this stay. I would recommend for sure and for our next stay I will try to rebook this location.

Amazing Home. Event Better Communication.

Sometimes the pictures look way better online than in real-life. Not here! It was almost better than the photos. Our team hosted a small leadership retreat here and it had EVERYTHING we needed. The living area, the kitchen, the views, the bedrooms, the basement games, and basement kitchen made this place extraordinary. We all loved this home and we'll be back. One more HUGE plus was the exceptional communication from the owner. Sometimes owners communicate well but not fast and friends. David was fast and friendly and I give him 5 stars as an owner/communicator.

We really enjoyed our experience. Wished it wasn't so wet. We're talking about coming back in the spring or summer. Only real complaint was that fireplaces were unusable during our visit

Great Stay

Big Canoe Family Gathering

We loved the house and all it offered. We had an amazing time and loads of fun. I would say the only downfall is having to pay for the pools and lakes.
