We had a wonderful stay on a large but quiet lake. We had bad weather for most of our stay but it was still great.
The property was immaculate and the location was pretty central to everything in Maine.
The waterfront is private but very rocky. My 3 year old still enjoyed swimming in the shallow water.
I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet vacation.
From start to finish, we loved every minute of our stay at the beautiful cabin at Lake Sebasticook! All of the amenities were perfect, and we loved spending every morning and evening on the deck or sitting on the dock watching the sunset. It was hard to leave! Thank you so much for a wonderful relaxing stay!
We enjoyed our week on this lovely lake in Bryan's gorgeous, modern camp that had all the amenities you could ask for. We spent all the sunny days on the dock, swimming, reading, and relaxing. Unfortunately the weather didn't permit us to use the kayaks due to wind and rain on several days but we enjoyed the serenity and beauty of our surroundings....we listened to the loons on the water at night and watched the eagles flying over us during the day.
All in all, we had a lovely lovely week.
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. The lake views were stunning and we never felt crowded by the other nearby properties. The house was immaculately clean with everything you could possibly need. Communication with the owner was easy and worry-free. Some highlights of our trip: we rescued a baby bird that failed to fledge (with the help of a local avian rehab specialist); we saw a bald eagle; several blue herons enjoyed hanging out on the dock; my kiddo loved learning to kayak; and waking up to the gorgeous lake view every morning is hard to beat. 10/10 vacation spot.
We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin for our first trip to Maine. We loved kayaking every day and catching bass. Thanks Bryan for the tips! We took a few day trips to Acadia, boothbay harbor, and coastal botanical gardens. The sunsets on the lake are amazing. No curtains on all of those windows so we were up early with the sun every day. Minus a few housekeeping issues this place was perfect! Already recommended to several others!
We had the pleasure of staying here for a week and loved it. The property was spotless and we loved the privacy and peacefullness. The house had big beautiful windows and it was so nice waking up to the beautiful water view. The water was very clear and they have a great dock and shore to walk straight into the water, the fishing was great as well. The property is well stocked with everything you need. At night, we all enjoyed watching the fireflies light up across the backyard!
Four of us from SE PA stayed for the week of Sep 30-Oct 7, 2023. It was spectacular! View of lake, sunsets, 75 deg weather and sunny, tons of stars, great fishing (thanks for tips Bryan!), and location was perfect to take day trips. Host was awesome - informative, quick to respond, and just a really nice guy! Food was amazing everywhere we went - Bar Harbor/Cadillac Mtn/Acadia Nat’l Park, Moosehead Lake, Bangor. Perfect vacation - thanks Bryan!
Our group of 4 has spent a summer week in Maine together for 20+ years. Rented many lake properties- this newly-built cabin is one of the best for a small group. Well-equipped, great location (on a larger lake), open interior space with lots of windows, easy waterfront access, quiet, with good outdoor area space. We rented a small fishing boat for fishing & cruising- Great spots nearby for bass fishing & floating. Highly recommended
We loved everything about the house and the land. Super modern and clean. Amazingly comfortable beds!! Huge bathrooms! We spent so much time on the water! Nothing but 5 stars!!
Beautiful cabin with privacy. Owner was quick to respond and provide assistance. We went all over Maine on day trips. Lots to see and do so great location. Great accommodations. Sporadic WiFi so plan accordingly. So much to do and nice excuse to unplug. Hope to be back one day!
We had a relaxing vacation at this awesome cabin. Private & peaceful area. We spent everyday outside swimming in the lake, sitting on the dock & deck enjoying the fabulous lake views. Daily visit from the family of loons was spectacular. Sunsets were gorgeous. Cabin was comfy & well appointed with everything we needed for a restful week. Owner was helpful & answered all of our questions. Lavender farm down the road was a great find. Tasty food at Angler’s Restaurant. Delicious cocktails at Cervesa’s. We would love to make this cabin an annual summer vacation. Thank you Bryan!!!
We absolutely loved our time at this very nice cabin! The sunsets were amazing, especially from the back porch or even resting inside on the couches and looking through the many large windows! We had fun kayaking, fishing and swimming. Thank you!’
The cabin is beautifully designed and decorated. Great views of the lake. Quiet, close to amenities, with responsive and welcoming owners. Would happily go back.
This place is absolutely amazing the detail in which this place was built is unreal I really enjoyed the week we spent there I would have to say it was the best cabin we have stayed in and we stayed more than a few we definitely be coming back
The extraordinary lake views. The exquisite overly humongous deck. The beautiful sunsets at the end of the dock. The unreal privacy while at the property (heavily wooded so you don’t see any other homes). The absolute tranquility. The perfect therapy for whatever is ailing you. We’ll be back.
This house was absolutely perfect. We woke up to bright sun coming in through the huge windows overlooking the water and ended each day with breathtaking sunsets. The house was fully stocked and immaculately cleaned. Everything was exactly as described. The deck was perfect for lounging, reading, and all our outdoor meals. The kids loved the loft. The property was private but close enough to town if you needed anything. We swam, fished, kayaked, and relaxed. It was perfect. We would absolutely return to this property.
Amazing property with great setup. Every morning you look out your window you see the lake. We rented a boat and tubed a lot on the lake and our kids had so much fun.
Sunsets, even when it was cloudy was great too.
Will be returning to this property.
This camp is absolutely stunning. The accommodations are beautiful and include everything you need for a relaxing stay. We could not have been happier with our stay. The lake is beautiful, shallow and warm. The location allows for maximum privacy from neighbors yet you are still close to a grocery store etc. We will certainly be back for another stay.
For our first vacation since, well you know, we were thrilled to find this place. The listing photos don’t even begin to convey how wonderfully situated, designed, built, and appointed this place is. The dock, the deck, and the property are fabulous outdoor areas for hanging out and relaxing.
Bryan was very accessible even though we really didn’t need to contact him for much of anything. He offered tips on restaurants and things to see also.
We wanted quiet and peaceful and this place didn’t disappoint. The lavender farm, just a couple of hundred feet down the main road probably helped.
I am an amateur, very, bird photographer and filled my mornings and afternoons with bird species I’d never photographed before. Not into birds? Don’t worry you’ll still love seeing loons on the very quiet lake and the occasional Osprey or Bald Eagle soaring overhead.
We left, reluctantly, but felt fully relaxed and recharged. We’re definitely coming back!

About the host
Hosted by Bryan Liebenthal
I have been vacationing in Maine for many years with my family. We decided to build our own piece of paradise a few years back and now its complete. My family and I built the entire camp with help from our neighbors that are now are closest friends. We value the special times that we spent building the camp and all the time we have spent there since completing it. Most of the furniture was built specifically for this camp in my workshop at home.
Why they chose this property
This property is located in a very secluded area. Most of the rentals that my family and I have stayed at have had neighbors right on top of us. This area is not as built up as most lakes down in southern Maine. The camp sits on about 2 acres and has over 150 feet of lakefront. The sunsets from the deck are breathtaking!!
What makes this property unique
One of the unique features of the camp is that the entire wall facing the lake is glass. No matter where you are in the house you can see the lake. The driveway is over 400 feet long and offers plenty of parking.
