About this property
Paradise Bungalow Love; a Gulfport private oasis in the Marina district
The PERFECT vacation suite. If you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable, boho-modern house, this is the place for you. Perfect for guests that want to experience living like a Gulfport local with chill vibes.
The location couldn't be better for exploring everything that the area has to offer. Nestled in the adorable town of Gulfport, the property is just a 1 block walk from the Marina and waterfront of Boca Ciega bay.
Located less than a mile from downtown Gulfport's quaint and historic waterfront district and beach. Plenty of boutique shopping, excellent restaurants, and great cafes.
Plus, it's an 8 minute drive to downtown St. Pete, so you get the fun of a big city without having to live in one. Probably one of the favorite things about living here is that it's a 10 minute drive to the best beaches in the Tampa Bay.
Everyone is welcome. The neighborhood is residential and super quiet. It's a real haven for LGBTQ+, being safe and friendly.
Some perks that make it stand out above the rest of the rentals:
- The king sized bed is a Purple mattress, one of the highest rated mattresses on the market. Sink into the firm but plush bed and enjoy the luxurious linen sheets.
- In the den there’s a comfortable couch, which also converts to a pull-out, queen sized bed.
- The backyard outdoor area is a paradise oasis, packed with tropical plants and trees. A large deck with outdoor furniture for lounging, surrounded by plants, succulents, and cacti. Guests love the roofed pergola, sitting outside during the summer rains is a special experience.
- The tropical landscaping is beautifully maintained, making it the perfect Florida beach town getaway. You can pick and enjoy kumquats, oranges, and bananas.
- A stocked kitchen has everything you need to feel at home; top of the line appliances, coffee maker, toaster, and spices.
- Other amenities include: An outdoor gas grill, a huge 65” smart tv, lightning fast wifi (with a desk to work at), central heat/AC, and a dedicated parking spot in the driveway.
Other notes:
Property manager, Kelsey, lives in a private apartment which is attached to the house, but completely separate, with its own entrance. There’s a good chance you won’t ever see or hear her, but guests find it comforting that there’s a responsible and responsive person available.
There are absolutely no parties or gatherings allowed. The street is quiet and respecting our neighbors is paramount to us. If you’re looking for a place to party, please look elsewhere.
If you ARE looking for an oasis in a really cool little town, but don’t want to spend a ridiculous amount of money, then this is for you. Come see why this property is rated 5 stars with a "Superhost" status on Airbnb.

About the host
Hosted by Megan Dorien
We're Megan and Angela and we live in Gulfport, FL with our 2 tiny and adorable dogs, Boots and Tupac. Megan was born and raised in New York, and Angela is from Maine.
After living in various parts of the world, we both found ourselves in St. Pete, FL and fell in love with the area, separately. After we met, we moved into our house and it's been like living the dream every since.
We love sharing our home because we're really proud of what we've done and created. We've gotten to connect with people from all over and have met some truly amazing people.
