Welcome to Reel Livin cabin #6. This former resort cabin has everything you want in an affordable vacation cabin. Located just steps from the water's edge and sand beach, this unit offers three private bedroom and one spacious full bath room. Large living/dining area and the wonderful porch to take in that awesome lake view! Enjoy the private firepit for swopping stories and making smores. Dock space and boat rental also available.

We enjoyed our time at Lost Land Lake. Scott was very responsive. We had a great vacation. The best part was enjoying the beautiful sunset by the cabin.

This is on an awesome lake, and only a short distance from a bar/restaurant at the neighboring resort. Cabin was well appointed.

Most excellent!!!

Hubby and I had to switch at last moment to find a different cabin since Helene destroyed original plans for TN. We were able to schedule no problem. Arrived and easy instructions. It is an absolutely glorious spot straight on the lake. Bar is literally 10 steps away, with great owners, music, food and libations. We went Oct 5-13 and while not a lot to do during that time ( between seasons) it was perfect for what we wanted. Quiet and relaxation! We definitely plan on going back. I give the cabin and Scott Crosby 10 stars!

Great place for a family vacation!

The cabin was very clean and neat! We felt right at home. Loved having our own dock for our boat. We did not mind that it was next door to Reel Livin Bar and Grill. Everyone we met was very nice there. Will definitely book again for another family vacation!

Summer stay

We have stayed at this cabin several times over the years. The cabin is as pictured, beds are comfortable, and the screened porch is a nice space to be able to still enjoy being in the northwoods, but avoid all the bug bites at night and early morning. One nice addition would be to add mirrors in the bedrooms. It is nice not to have to rush out of the shared bathroom when others are needing to use the space as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Cabin #6 review

Great lake! Didn't really feel like an "UP NORTH" cabin, but more of just a rental home.. Needs some cabin decor! Leave TV instructions, had problems w/connections. Remove that awful "soft" toilet seat! Overall nice, but could be much better w/ decor... Paul J

Got to meet Scott the owner very nice guy, helped him remove his dock with my SBS , very friendly guy, the cabin was awesome, very clean and gift pack full of goodies that was unexpected and very appreciated. Highly recommended.

It was OK. Trouble getting into cabin as no key code provided. Pictures didn’t show cabin was right next to bar. Cabin was clean though. Beach was nice and setting was beautiful.

Snowmobile trip

Clean cabin with nice beds. Owner was great to work with. Perfect spot in the heart of snowmobile trails. Right next to a great bar with good food. Gas pump basically right behind cabin. Bar (reel living) had no problem letting us park our truck and enclosed trailer in their parking lot. We will rent again!

Annual family vacation

This cabin was out home away from home! Everything was just right. The cabin was comfortable and clean. We like to cool most of our meals. The kitchen had nice pots and pans and knives. The sunsets from across the lake made us wish we lived there. We'd certainly book this property again if we decide to spend time in the area. Great job Scott. Thank you so much! Memories made.

Everything great. Owner especially prompt in addressing plumbing issue. Wished we knew about being right next to a resort lodge that broadcast country music outside from early afternoon thru late evening. Only complaint.

Nice Lake Access in Greater Hayward area

This is a very nice cottage with screen porch overlooking the lake with private dock a mere 20 yards away. Lots of space for two people. We were able to park our boat trailer alongside the property without too much trouble and we were literally right next to the lake launch, so easy access. While the view of the lake is great, you’re also adjacent to a small pub that’s on the same property and you are not far from a camp ground sharing the property. Fine with us, but you should just be aware that you are not alone on some private road. One of the on-site managers, Rob, was extremely kind and helpful to us. Helped us get the boat launched and the trailer lined up by the cottage. Really made us feel at home, so good on him. We’d go back.

Fishing Trip

When we arrived, the code for the door we were given did not work. After I got on the WIFI and set up WIFI calling, I called Scott. It took a few tries, but he finally set up a new code for us and we were good to go for the week. We really liked the porch which overlooked the lake. Most of the panfish we caught were not as large as we would have liked. Be aware that there is no cell service on the lake. The speed limit on the lake is 10 mph so it is a quiet lake.

Home-base for boys fishing weekend

It was a great place for a friend fishing get away! I rented the cabin for my husband and a few of his buddies for a weekend of fishing. They got skunked but had a blast. The fire pit area was the highlight - that and being right next to the resort bar. There were a few hiccups. The code we were given for the door was incorrect. The bar owner actually helped get everyone in after waiting around and trying to figure out what was going on. The toilet seat had a little crack in it upon check in - not a huge deal but did end up cracking the rest of the way during our stay (there wasn’t any negligence involved). The last and maybe the most significant… we had rented the cabin from Friday night to Monday morning. The boys were planning on leaving Sunday afternoon but because of the early checkout time (9:00) we rented it for an extra day ( to Monday) The door locked automatically on Sunday morning at 9:06 and every member of the party was locked in! They could not get out. My husband called the property manager to which his response was well check out is at 9. It got straightened out and the property manager unlocked the door - but it was a bit unsettling. All in all it was a decent stay and accomplished what we needed - a home base for a boys fishing weekend.
