Situato all'interno della Riserva Naturale Nazionale della Laguna de Apoyo. Questa splendida casa sul lago si trova a soli 200 metri dal Norome Resort / Villas @ Apoyo (su strada asfaltata) ed è costruita secondo gli standard statunitensi. Rilassati nella piscina a sfioro mentre ti godi la vista del vulcano dormiente Mambacho o fai una nuotata nel lago dove troverai terme calde nelle vicinanze. Se preferisci più attività, i noleggi di Hobie Cats e Kayak sono disponibili presso il vicino resort. Come opzione aggiuntiva, possiamo organizzare massaggi in loco nel tranquillo patio esterno privato, con le onde della riva del lago come sfondo. Il tutoraggio privato in loco in spagnolo può essere organizzato da un istruttore professionista locale e un amico di famiglia. Questa è davvero un'oasi di vacanza privata con oltre un acro di terreno paesaggistico professionale di flora, prato e giardini naturali! Casa de Sol ti offre il massimo in termini di privacy e relax ... Facile accesso da strade in muratura, ingresso recintato con sicurezza 24 ore.

Al piano superiore è una master suite con letto king size, vasca personalizzata per due con doccia a pioggia. Le altre 4 camere sono configurazioni "Jack & Jill" (2 camere da letto con bagno in mezzo). Tutte le camere sono dotate di balcone privato, aria condizionata e acqua calda. La casa include asciugamani da bagno, saponi, acqua calda e biancheria di alta qualità.

Al piano inferiore c'è una cucina moderna con fornelli a gas e forno, isola di legno duro, frigorifero / congelatore, refrigeratore d'acqua e tutti gli utensili. Anche per cucinare è una grande griglia a gas all'esterno. Il grande tavolo da pranzo personalizzato con sedie può ospitare comodamente 10-12 persone. C'è un bagno e mezzo nella zona soggiorno e ½ bagno a bordo piscina.

Gorgeous

We stayed 8 days and will definitely return. Beautiful pool, house, property, lagoon for swimming, and surrounded by natural beauty. We met the owners twice and they were very friendly. They even had an anniversary cake delivered for my wife’s sister’s anniversary mid week. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We must have spent 3 hours EVERY day in that pool :-) Absolutely wonderful experience!

Heaven on Earth

Words can't describe the beauty of this place. The location is one of a kind setting on the shores of quator lake. From this location you can go to many other areas of interest in Nicaragua. The security staff here was friendly and very attentive. They did our laundry, Vegeta scrub, and clean her car and went and got us gas we couldn't be happier.

Wish I could have stayed longer!

We had a party of 10. No complaints, property was amazing, breathtaking views and wonderful staff. Pool was great! We used the kayaks and went for a swim in the lagoon, staff was very helpful during the stay. Recommend 4x4 vehicles only as it can be a climb just getting out of the area and the man charging to get into the area-he charges each time you leave and come back but he is not tied to the property at all just an FYI. Wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely come back.

Perfect spot for a big group

The house was beautiful, three of the four rooms with an amazing view. It was very quiet and peaceful. There were many areas to spend time together as a group. there are lots of stairs though so be prepared to have some exercise. When the power went out, which can happen, there was a backup generator. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook. It surpassed our expectations. We will definitely visit again.

Great family getaway!

We spent the weekend at Tamara's place with a big group consisting of 3 families. There was something for everyone and so many places to hang out and relax. The pictures don't do it justice. Tamara was a very attentive host, and she also had a property manager who was available when we needed. We are looking forward to coming back again. I would highly recommend staying here.

Better than expected

In the last years, we have rented accommodations in Rivas, Ometepe, SAN Juan del Sur and Montelimar however, none of them come even close to this property, the owners attention to details and the people that take care of the property and the guest. The cleanest property by far. We also had the good fortune of having Rita cook our meals( extra). Not only was the food delicious but it gave us the opportunity to enjoy our time at “ Casa del Sol” without worrying about the preparation of our meals. Lastly, we all enjoyed our stay so much that we recommend this place 100%

Beautiful well maintained and Relaxing Villa

Exceeded our expectations in everything. Beautiful surroundings. The staff was helpful and friendly. Wonderful pool area. We had a lovely kitchen that was very equipped for cooking, but we were also helped when we wanted to order in food. We hope very much to return again.

Extremely breathtaking

I planned A vacation with my family on August 14 till the 21st. Since our arrival the host Kenia and staff Made my family and myself welcomed. Kenya was so wonderful and she took her time to explain and walk us through the whole house. The house is breathtaking and it was so clean. All I can say is that I would definitely and most likely referring this place to any family and friends that I have to let them know that they would enjoy their time in this beautiful place. Casa del sol was a relaxing and peaceful place to wake up in the morning. I could just keep going on how my experience was in such a beautiful y. Second time here absolutely love it

We have stayed at Casa Sol before and think it’s amazing! Pool and lake view is gorgeous and outdoor space so relaxing. Home is spacious and comfortable and more than enough room for our family and friends. Quiet and peaceful but not too far from restaurants and activities. Cannot wait to go back and spend more time!!

Picturesque & Peaceful

It was a wonderful vacation with all the R&R you will ever need. The people take pride in caring for the house just as they should since it was amazing and a lot of work went into making it so. It has everything you will need. The staff are wonderful and accommodating. Let's not forget the Lagoon and the closeness to it was breathtaking. Having it all at our fingertips, including a swimming pool with children's floaties was an added touch. I highly recommend it.

Another Wonderful Visit to Casa de Sol

Thank you to Tamara and all the staff for another restful visit at Casa de Sol. Take a look at the photos, that's exactly what you'll see. We were four adults, ages mid 40's to 60's. So many places to be alone or together. Very quiet and peaceful. The house and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. I don't know when, but we'll be back!

Best place to stay at in Laguna de Apoyo!

I've lived in Nicaragua for several years and was lucky enough to get invited to stay here. My family and i we're amazed that the description of the property matched its profile. The house is lovely and spacious. The bedrooms are comfortable and have AC, the dining room and kitchen include everything you need to cook. The side patio includes comfortable a sofa, chairs, table, and hammocks. The house overlooks laguna de apoyo, has a great pool area, and hotsprings!! Book this house!

The place was incredible beautiful! The space to host for my family to come and visit was just perfect ! One thing / advise: when you check in, please count every single cup, utensils, and plates, because if there is one missing @ checkout, they will charge you for it. They charge you $10 for the additional people coming to stay with you during the day, not sure if that’s a thing or what, but I paid extra. You need a 4X4 vehicle, so please no matter where you rent, make sure you have your right vehicle! Other than that, the house is very beautiful! And we all loved it !

My weekend stay at Casa de Sol was truly amazing. The whole experience from reserving, to planning and making accommodations was pleasant. My stay was nothing short of incredible. The house was beautiful, filled with many details that made the experience even more enjoyable. The grounds and pool were exquisite, a true paradise. It was accessible, well taken care of, and we wanted for nothing. On top of everything those working the property were a joy to be around. I have already recommended this property to many friends in the area. Thank you for making the trip better than imagined!

Fantastic property for family or friends!

We made a brief stay (far too brief and we'd like to come back soon) at Casa Del Sol during a two week trip in Nicaragua. This is a fantastic property with private security, excellent amenities and view. The lake is great, wonderful to sit on the two/three levels on the water and have to choose "pool? lake? hot springs spot?". It's a bit nicer than most 'adventure vacation' properties, but a good location to get to Lake Managua, the coast, Granada, etc. We would love to come back next year and spend more time at Casa Del Sol... it was a wonderful place, the owners were great and it was nice to have extra security in a 'remoter' location on the lake.

It was a wonderful experience at Casa del Sol.

Our party consisted of nine people, including four adults and five children. We stayed for two weeks and had an amazing time. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with kindness and respect. We mostly spend our time at the pool and at night in the kitchen cooking. The pool was perfect for our boys. The The staff was professional and extremely helpful. The beds and rooms were comfortable and pleasant. It was hot, and the air conditioning in the bedrooms at night was an excellent relief. The house does need some updates, but nothing that would keep you from having a great time. The housekeeper was absolutely amazing. She was a big part of our enjoyment of our stay. Everything was clean daily. At night, security would make his rounds, which, of course, made us feel safe. The current staff that is in place was the key to a great experience. We had several requests, and every single one was met. We made memories that will last us a lifetime. We will definitely be staying here again. Our only mistake was not staying longer!

Simply Perfect!

This is hands down one of the best rental homes in Nicaragua. It offers amazing views of the lagoon in a very private and serene setting. You also have 2 waterfront restaurants within walking distance. Day trips to Granada and Masaya are only 1/2 hour away. The house itself offers very high end finishes, very comfortable beds and cold ac in the bedrooms. The natural infinity pool is a dream overlooking the lagoon. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. The only logistics you have to consider is to do a complete grocery shopping trip before arrival, as supplies are very limited in the immediate vicinity. All in all, this property, amenities and location are 5 stars! Thank you to the owner and staff for the amazing hospitality...we will be back! Carmen B. And Family

Stay Away from this property!! First and foremost, the owner of this property does NOT value human life., With emphasis on children. The 1st day we arrived my 1 & 3 year old’s got extremely sick with 104 fevers and were throwing up real bad! The following morning my little boys were barely able to stand! We had to rush them to the nearest hospital. Which was over an hour away!! In fact, the property owner herself recommended this specific hospital, which we ended up having to stay with family near the hospital as our children were extremely sick and we were not sure if we had to fly out of the country to go back home. The owner TAMARA told us specifically that she would refund us for the days we did not stay on her property and that she would find someone else to rent it for those days. However, now she is refusing to give us our money back and scammed us for over $2,000!! In addition, this home is not child proof. It’s filled with huge roaches, mosquitoes, termites, tarantulas, mice, geckos, ants and we we’re warned about possible serpents. There’s no window coverings in bathroom, showers or downstairs! No food nearby and the road is very dangerous, windy hills through the jungle and pitch black by 5pm! The driveway is ridiculously steep and has sharp curves that can cause you to fall off the cliff going down into the home. There’s workers lurching around the entire property all day and night. All men which made my daughters uneasy when showering. TRUST ME NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!

Trouble in Paradise

While the view was stunning and the onsite staff were courteous and helpful, that was the extent of our positive experience at this property. There is a small house on the property next to the pool that is under construction. There was a large crew of workers with construction going on all day long. We were uncomfortable to use the pool and our young children couldn't nap with all the noise. When we asked the owner about it, she acted like it was the house next door when it is clearly on the same property and only steps away from the pool. The main house was infested with termites and ants, the owner also acted like this was to be expected "because it's Nicaragua and in a reserve". We stay in Nicaragua often, and no, it is not expected that you pay to stay in a house where you are sleeping with termites in your bed because you are in a reserve in Nicaragua. This is completely unacceptable for a house we paid for and cannot use the beds. The property owner offered to come fumigate the house with my 3 infants sleeping inside. After a night with termites in the beds, we decided to pack up and leave. Upon trying to leave, because it was before our planned check out date, we were held hostage. The security guard refused to let us leave and held my whole family on the steep inclined driveway saying we couldn't go until the property manager came to look around and make sure we didnt steal anything. I never felt so insulted, unsafe, and unclean in a place where I paid to be a guest

Beautiful w/beautiful view! Not kid or older people friendly, inside &outside stairs mainly. Pool is NOT for children/some adults. The many stairs to the public lake are rocky as the entry into the lake! No beach! Constant workers around the house. The casa directly in view of master bedroom has workers. Guard shack is in view of the master bathroom. We all felt exposed! Kept curtains upstairs closed which defeated, the view! As stated in a 2023 review, the staff definitely watches you! Its not feeling of privacy but monitoring! Also, a dog that poops in the yard. The owner: very responsive. Gave great suggestions. BUT when character/ethics was to be shown, she was HORRIBLE! My 7y/o wet the bed. Tamera emailed she wouldn't charge me. She understood it was an accident. There were other things (glass, vase, etc) we did break. throughout the 8 days she email me let me know what we broke & the price! No problem! The white couch ($54 charge) I disagreed! Morning of departure, I Zelled her $204 for the agreed damage! She put a dispute into VRBO for over $100 Double the cost of the couch! She wanted the cleaning of the mattress and other damaged items. I showed VRBO AND MY BANK the emails of her saying she would not charge for the mattress AND the 2 different stories she told me(all email) how the damage to the couch was done! Her $100+ was declined! I have a good reputation with VRBO & hosts! Many stays & NEVER this experience! Honesty is not her best policy!!!!!

Casa Del Sol is PARADISE! Wonderful property, incredible staff and great guidance from the owners

This is one of the best properties we have had the pleasure to visit IN OUR LIVES. We travel globally and this was our second trip to Nicaragua. The owners were great leading up to the trip and during it. The staff is wonderful, do yourself a big favor and make sure you hire the cook, it's incredibly affordable, the food is FANTASTIC (our boys fell in love with her Gallo Pinto and looked forward to the meals EVERY DAY) and you can decide the day prior if you'd like to skip a meal if your plans take you elsewhere for the day. She will even teach you how to make real tortillas and knows a fair amount of English. On that note, the property manager is completely dialed into the area and speak excellent English/can help with just about any request you may have. The property has an infinity pool and a terrace that is just amazing. Swimming in the Laguna is awesome whether it is a bit wavy or super calm. the THERMALS are a great experience, you move from 80 F water into a HOT TUB when you are over one and it's quite a treat. You can walk to Laguna Beach Club if you'd like some company or a change of pace and it's not one of the hectic/super loud ones that are a bit further away. I'd come back here for a 'guys trip', my wife would do the same for a girls trip and we are definitely bringing our kids back again (9 and 12). You can just relax on the property, or use it for a launching pad to Granada, Masaya, Catarina and other areas. Nature hikes, swimming, other water sports and recreational activities are a $5-20 cab ride away. We also LOVED having not only the housekeeper/groundskeeper/cook, but it was comforting to have a security guard on the property 24/7. I honestly can't imagine (except for people with disabilities, because there are stairs and it's a multi level property) anyone that wouldn't REALLY enjoy their stay at Casa Del Sol.

Experiencia nefasta. No recomendado.

Considero que si alquilas un lugar para tus vacaciones debes estar a gusto y sentirte como en casa, en este caso no lo fue en absoluto, todo el momento tuve la sensación de que me prestaban la casa y me vigilaban. La casa la alquilé para un evento, tuve que pagar ademas del alquiler un precio por cada invitado para que pueda entrar por unas horas a la propiedad este precio no se me dijo cuando se contacto telefónicamente previo a la reserva, pero el error fue mio por no leer el contrato ya que lo indica. Dicho contrato lo envian posteriormente a formalizar la reserva, no antes. Recomiendo leer detenidamente el contrato porque las condiciones no estan en la página de vrbo antes de contratar y las exigencias o reglas son muchas. Por ejemplo el uso del aire acondicionado. También cuando les entreguen la casa verificar el estado de todo ya que al salir revisan y cuentan uno a uno cada utensilio de cocina, vasos, toallas, etc. por otro lado el acceso a la casa es muy malo, escaleras incomodas y poco iluminadas para acceder desde la entrada hasta la propiedad. En mi evento habia gente mayor y otros con problemas en la rofilla y fue una odisea total bajar a la casa. Solo pueden acceder vehiculos de tracción 4x4. Para los proveedores también fue muy complicado acceder, tuvieron que bajar todo cargando. La casa es hermosa, pero lo mejor es la vista y esta vista la teneis desde cualquiera de los muchos hoteles de la zona que por menos dinero podeis estar mejor y sentiros como en casa.

We live in the Pacific Northwest and love it...except the long wet and cold winters get very long, wet and cold. We were thinking about eventually finding a place to escape the winter weather when Casa de Sol found us! Even though this idea was 10 years off, we knew we would never find a place like Casa de Sol.

Since we are both still working and have a young family we decided to offer it as a vacation rental for now and eventually make it our 3-6 month home.
