We had a great rental experience. The house had everything you would need for a beach getaway.We were very happy to have the beach chairs &umbrella since we flew in and couldn't bring that stuff with us. The beach was not crowded at all in October when we visited. The house itself was well outfitted. The street it sits on is very quiet. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable. Great having the washer & dryer. We would definitely stay here again.One caution to guests, main road (A1A) might flood during king tides. A few suggestions to improve the experience. The paddleboards came with neither leashes nor lifejackets (atleast that we could find). We ended up not using them as a result because if you are on "flat" water, you are legally a vessel and need a lifejacket but if you are in a surf zone, you really need a leash to keep the board from running away if you fall off. That was one disappointment since the included boards were part of the reason we picked this house. The following might be because we were visiting towards the end of the rental season, so the house had been used a lot without a deep cleaning. Both showers seemed to have mildew along the edges of the enclosures. The shower in the hallway bathroom seemed to have a potential mildew issue on the ceiling. The back deck could use a powerwash, and the hanging chair cushions were slightly mildewed. A door mat inside the back door in the master bedroom would be nice.
