Maui Sunset is located on the ocean in sunny Kihei on 5.5 beautifully landscaped acres overlooking crystal blue pacific waters. Your island days can be filled with recreation and fun. Swim in Maui Sunset's beautiful pool with a shallow end for small children or enjoy relaxing in the jet spa. This lovely resort also offers two free play tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, putting green, croquet, an exercise room, BBQ grills, etc. Shopping and restaurants are just ten minutes walking distance away. Championship golf courts within a few minutes drive. Watch the sun rise over Haleakala Crater and set in the beautiful blue Pacific.

Our spacious two-bedroom oceanfront unit has 939 sq. ft. enclosed plus a beautiful 150 sq. ft. lanai (perfect for breakfast or lunch) overlooking the ocean. The unit also features two bathrooms both with walk in showers.

Complete stainless kitchen includes: electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender, as well as dishware, glassware, silverware, pot & pans, cutlery, etc. This kitchen has been completely upgraded featuring granite counter tops.

Unit is decorated with mirrors and lovely paintings by local artists.

Free wireless internet is in the unit. There is air conditioning in the living room and both bedrooms as well as ceiling fans. Entertainment includes a TV in the living room and in each bedroom.
Our two-bedroom unit has a king-sized bed in the master bedroom, two twins in the second bedroom, and a queen sized sofa bed in the living room.

All towels and linens are provided including beach towels. Complete laundry facilities in condo include washer, dryer, iron and ironing board and we provide laundry soap. There is also a hair dryer in unit.

Outstanding location and beautiful lanai

As advertised. Sunset on the lanai was absolutely beautiful every single day. Location is great and place has awesome views of the ocean. Could hang out on the lanai all evening as it was awesome. Everything worked perfectly and was fantastic for our family. Perfect spot for hitting up south Maui beaches and such and not far from airport or other Maui sites. Wonderful stay. Thanks again!

Safe area, lots of activities near by. Close to food, shopping, gas. Awesome Sandy beach. Place was very clean, comfortable beds. Great for couples or family. Pool, hot tub and grounds well kept. Centrally located, easy to reach any part of the island.

5 days in paradise

This property has everything one would want - great location for all the Maui has to offer, 2 bedrooms AND 2 bathrooms arranged in a way that offers good privacy for two families traveling together, well-stocked kitchen, beachfront (and all of the equipment you would need for a day at the beach), pool, shuffle board, tennis (we didn't use all that but it was nice that it was there), close to stores (but not too close) and a reasonable price for Maui. I really have no criticisms and would love to stay here again. Have stayed in several places on Maui (including the Grand Wailea) and this one was the best. The Grand Wailea is, well, grand but you get a room not an apartment, it is a long drive to a lot of Maui attractions, and it costs a fortune.

Great Condo- unfortunately roads were closed due to weather

This condo was so cute. It was perfect for my family which included 2 young kids. The condo itself was very clean and comfortable. The grounds of the condo were great- we loved the pool. Unfortunately there had been a storm that came through the day before we checked in (a lot of rain and wind). Due to this the neighborhood that the condo was located in was full of mud. When I say full of mud- I mean that the roads all around the condo were closed and were being plowed out. It made it very difficult to get around. We were checking in later in the day and had a very difficult time getting to the property (and we had no notice of this from the property owner). Upon check in I was told from the nice lady in the office that unfortunately when there is heavy rains in the area(which is not uncommon in the winter) this is what happens. It also meant that we were unable to go in the ocean at the beach because it was brown and full of mud which was incredibly disappointing because part of the reason we picked this place was because it was on the beach. We stayed here for 3 days and the entire time we could not swim at the beach and the roads around the property were closed. Again beautiful condo, beautiful pool, and beautiful view. It just would have been nice to know that if you are coming when there is a potential for heavy rains, it will be very difficult to navigate around the area and the beach will not be useable.

Beautiful!

The location is great - close to everything. The grounds are immaculate and so many things to do. The pool and hot tub are large, bbqs are clean and the tiki torches lighting the pool and bbqs are a really nice touch. The condo is spacious, very comfortable and clean. Boogie boards and beach chairs, coolers, etc. were great. The best part is the huge lanai with a view of the ocean - we ate dinner outside every night. The property manager was also super responsive and helpful.

Great condo & property. Has everything you need. Beach was beautiful but only good for wind surfing as too windy & had many rocks. Luckily its only 7 minutes away from other swimmable beaches. Close to everything!!

Maui sunset - great vacation

We had a great time at the Maui sunset. The host, Terry, was always quick at answered questions and very helpful. We found the condo was clean and very accommodating for our family. The location and view of the beach and sunset were great. The condo has plenty of amenities as does the Maui sunset (pool, bbq, tennis, park). It’s also well located in Kihei close to all services. We really enjoyed your stay at the condo and would definitely come back. Thanks again Terry.

fantastic place

This is a great place. Photos don't really give you as good of a feel for the grounds. Incredible view, fantastic grounds with all kinds of activities and pool/spa. Inside, the condo is great. Well stocked with everything you need for a beach, and in the kitchen. AC works great. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Enjoyed the lanai the most

We are glad we found this rental, it met our needs accommodating 5 adults. We loved the large lanai and view. My brother and SIL had the twin beds and they were not comfortable. The sofa sleeper and king bed were great. The property manager addressed a few issues asap. Very nice complex and nice people there. If you want five star this is not that but it is a good value and quite comfortable.

Great Location

This property worked out great for us. Location is great, the pool was nice and easy access to the beach. Each night we enjoyed an amazing sunset from the beach. Short distance to shops and restaurants. Only negative was cleanliness of the kitchen counters and the table. We took care of it and a great time.

Wonderful place to stay

This was a wonderful place to stay, close to the beach. My children and family loved everything about it. We would stay here again. I would also recommend this location to anyone who wants to be close to the beach and also have access to the pool and many games and fun things to do on location. Absolutely fantastic!

Out of all the vrbo properties we've stayed at this one is our favorite. From the location to the size of the condo to the amenities to the view it just doesn't get better than this. The lanai is enormous and we had plenty of room to enjoy the view in the evening or our coffee in the morning. There were plenty of beach supplies in the front closet including sand toys, beach towels, chairs, snorkel equipment and boogie boards just to name a few. The pool (and hot tub) was just a few steps away and it was incredibly refreshing and well kept. The beach had many sea turtles popping their heads up out of the water as we watched the sunset or went on our morning stroll. Each bedroom had an a/c unit as well as a ceiling fan which made the nights very comfortable. We traveled with our 13 and 11 year old daughters so the second bathroom made getting ready so much faster. The beds were comfortable and there was ample bedding in case an extra blanket was needed. There are grocery stores, restaurants, food trucks and other beaches just minutes away. We found this to be a great location to drive to the Road to Hana, Haleakala for sunrise and the west side for snorkeling. It was perfectly located on the island so all of our adventures were doable. It is just steps away from the beach and we never had any trouble parking in the parking lot. We would love to come back to this property again! The owners are great to communicate with as well. Awesome property!

Great place and location

The room was the perfect size for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids). Plenty of space, great location in Kihie, and beautiful grounds. The kitchen was stocked with essentials that we needed and there were even noodles, boogie board, and beach chairs. It was great to be able to do laundry as well.

We loved it!

The property worked out great for us. Centrally located for the activities we had planned. We used both rooms and the pull out bed. The kitchen has everything needed. The balcony view is exactly as pictured. Short walk to the beach. Lots of amenities in the complex.
