Nice, but bring earplugs.

The apartment was charming and close to some well known destinations. But the noise from the street was loud and constant.

La Princesa at Casa Sauto

Casa Sauto was a great place to stay. Clean, safe and secure. It is right across the street from the Zocalo and close to everything in the Historical Centre. Our suite was comfortable and quiet.

If You Wish To Stay At Zocalo

If you wish to stay in the heart of downtown - this isn't necessarily one's cup of tea - and can afford Casa Sauto, this is the place to stay. It is magnificent!!!

This is the second time in this suite. I would have no hesitation in a third. I have recommended this site for my friends and would recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful apartment

Lovely historic building with very spacious and architecturally stunning apartment. Well equipped and very secure and safe. Loved looking out of the window at the cathedral. We were disappointed in that area of the city. The zocalo was an expanse of concrete(no vegetation) and the general area was not as attractive as other neighborhoods.

Wonderful Stay!

Casa Sauto is arguably the most beautiful property we've stayed in. It's a charming and historic building in the historic center of Mexico City. Staying in this well-appointed, lovely and spacious apartment with its French doors that open to a bustling street, made us feel completely immersed in a truly authentic neighborhood. While there were certain historic sites within walking distance and all the major attractions within reach by Uber, we felt more like locals than tourists (except for our extremely limited Spanish) and were often the only Gringos in nearby restaurants and stores. One caveat is that the neighborhood is noisy into the night, but if you enjoy staying in a place like Manhattan, you'll be happy here. (Earplugs are provided for light sleepers) Fernanda and David made the check-in process super easy and Fernanda was an incredibly helpful and communicative host. We would love to return to CDMX sometime soon, to be able to enjoy more of what this exciting city has to offer and when we do, we will definitely stay at Casa Sauto. Highly recommended!

Excellent property and location

The apartment was everything that was described on the website. The property is well secured. I never felt at unease. The apartment is very well laid out, with all the amenities you may need for a stay. The area restaurants are all of good quality, we especially enjoyed Casa Tacuba, just a short walk. We ate there for both lunch and for breakfast. I highly recommend this property for your stay in DF.
