Recently renovated, this beautiful home is 2 miles to downtown St. Joseph 1/2 a mile to the beaches. 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, sleeps 8 (1 king sized bed, 2 queen sized beds, and 2 twin beds). Brand new kitchen complete with 6 gas burner stove and 36 inch range, drawer microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and large capacity washer and dryer. Jetted tub, gas fireplace, large lawn, deck, and open floor plan.

This home sits on half an acre and has a propane outdoor grill, an outdoor fire pit with seating for you and your guests, and a small deck with seating for 4. The property is treated every 3 weeks for mosquitoes, so outdoor use in the evenings is enjoyable. A Tesla charger in the garage is available upon special request.

We provide 8 beach towels, 8 beach chairs, and 2 beach umbrellas to use during your stay so you can pack a little less for your vacation.

This home affords both privacy and convenience being close to town, but not in the middle of the crowds. Located across the road from the Jack Nicklaus golf course, Harbor Shores, and is surrounded by wineries and breweries in the local area. Kayak, paddle board, and scooter rentals are a 3 min drive away as well as excellent restaurants. Enjoy Silver Beach, The Carousel, Whirlpool fountains, and so much more only a 3 minute drive. You can enjoy it all from this beautiful, quiet space!

Great stay

House was incredible clean, comfortable and spacious. More than enough room for 7 adults. It worked out as an excellent substitute for hotel rooms when coming to town for a family wedding.

Comfortable Home in Great Location!

Our family of 6 adults spent a few days at this lovely home in mid-August for an end-of-summer trip. We were all very comfortable in the house as there was plenty of space for everyone. There were also great gathering areas for times we wanted to be together. The house is stocked with everything a great rental home can offer. We didn't lack one thing while spending time at this house and could have left a lot of the items we brought behind as they were already there for us to use at the house, including shower and bathroom items and plenty of kitchen items. The location was great as two of our newest family members had never been to Southwest Michigan. So we spent each day going to a new small town between New Buffalo and Saugatuck to show them all the great spots in our favorite area to vacation. A must-visit when coming to this home is Jean Klock Beach. What a gem of a beach area I never knew existed after 15+ years of annual vacations in southwest Michigan. This beach is a mile from the house with plenty of parking, a great beach area, and restrooms. Kristi was fabulous to work with. She was super communicative as we had questions and surprised us with a few small gifts when we got to the house on the first day. Great family memories were made while we were there!

Perfect Choice For Our Family

We were so happy with our choice of homes for our vacation to Benton Harbor/St. Joseph! The location was so convenient to several beaches as well as the town of St. Joseph. Everything was so clean and welcoming! The furnishings, beds and very updated kitchen couldn't have been nicer or more comfortable. The kids in our group loved all the games and books. We were so happy to have all the beach chairs, umbrellas and towels to use so we could pack lighter. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area!

Great family get away

We played pickle ball, went to nearby beaches and hung around with the family by the fire pit and cooked all our meals in a well equipped kitchen. The place was very clean and the owner was wonderful to work with.

Great family trip!

Every year our family does a trip with kids, grandkids and grandparents. This is our 3rd year and this is our 3rd house. It’s the first property we’ve stayed at that we would happily book again for next year. Thanks! Amazing property and the best and most helpful host! We will be back next summer!!

Great Location

This is a great location for any group looking to stay in the St. Joseph area. The house has plenty of space, amenities, bathrooms, and parking. It was so easy to get to St. Joseph, the beaches, and South Haven isn’t too far away as well. We felt that was quicker to get back to the house from Silver Beach by car than it would be if we had stayed at a place downtown. This house was perfect for our mother, 3 adult daughters, and 3 kids (ages 5 and 2) girl trip! Highly recommend!

Terrific family vacation

Just returned from a great home in Benton Harbor. The location was perfect. So close to everything. The house was well stocked with everything that you would need. My kids love to cook and everything you could think of was in the kitchen. There were games and books for the kids. They thought of it all. The communication with the owner was great. We would definitely stay In This home again.

Family Beach Vacation

This home was very well supplied with anything we needed to enjoy ourselves while on vacation. The kitchen had any appliance we could possibly need. There were beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, toys, etc. We were very comfortable and had a great time.

Great Place need more hot water...

This was a great place to stay. Very clean and neat and was perfect for our group of 8. The only downside was the hot water. We constantly ran out when we wanted to clean up from a fun day at the beach. Highly recommend otherwise.

Family fun in St. Joseph

This is a beautiful house. It was perfect for our yearly family get together. The description and pictures represent the place very accurately. This house has everything for a relaxing vacation, from a well equipped kitchen to beach items you can find in the garage. It is a short 5 min drive from St. Joseph, where we spent time on the beach, went to the farmer's market, played with the fountains in the park, and had plenty of ice cream. Kristi is a excellent host. She was very responsive and quickly anwered all our questions. We had a wonderful time.

Great place to stay

We had a great stay here. The house is updated, clean, spacious and had so many amenities we used. The kids loved the bedrooms and large "rec" room downstairs with a super fun foosball table. The yard was great to run around in and well-manicured. The adults appreciated the updated appliances, the location of the property and all the beach gear (cooler, towels, beach chairs, etc). Location was great for a family or group that needs some extra space but still close to St Joes. Highly recommend.

Perfect house for Family Vacation

A beautiful clean and well presented house. All bedrooms were a good size with plenty of bathrooms. Kitchen is modern and has all appliances needed including super large fridge. Plenty of space in yard and always good parking spaces. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house for a family wanting to staying in/near St. Joseph’s / Benton Haror

Benton Harbor stay

We enjoyed our stay at Kristi’s place in Benton Harbor! The house was perfect for our 2 families to stay together. The kids enjoyed the downstairs TV and activity room. We all appreciated the beautiful kitchen, large yard, and comfortable bedrooms! The location was close to multiple beaches in the area, which was the focus of our summer weekend trip.

Beautiful home in Benton Harbor near the beach

We booked this stay for our daughters wedding at The Blue Dress Barn. It is close to all of the local attractions. It is within walking distance to a couple of beaches on the lake and in a quiet neighborhood. It is well equipped and spacious. We had everything we needed. Kristi made the check in and out process seamless and even left the lights on for our late arrival at night. The flowers and wine were a special and unique touch. We loved everything about the house. The bridal party got ready at the house and the natural lighting was excellent for our needs. If you are looking for a beautiful and spacious family getaway in Benton Harbor this is the place to be.

Great spot for Steelhead

This was a great place for our group to race and support the Steelhead 70.3 event. We sat in the upstairs space without TV’s spending most of the weekend chatting, joking, and having a lot of fun. The kitchen is beautiful and had everything we needed. Our kids loved the foosball game and spent time playing and watching tv downstairs. Very close to the race, to beaches, and to the downtown area that had some great restaurants. Great place for a get away or for a family racing Steelhead 70.3!

Perfect for wedding weekend

This property was the perfect size for my family of eight to stay. And the open spaces were helpful when the bridesmaids came over to get their hair and makeup done. The windows and skylights allowed the natural light to come in and made pictures perfect. The distance to downtown was perfect for quick trips to pickup the pizza or go to the beach. The property manager was available and prompt with answers to questions.

Wonderful Home Base
