Our short-term luxury rental, nicknamed the Boathouse, is located in the heart of Arnolds Park and Okoboji! Our 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home sleeps up to 11-12 comfortably!

If you are visiting the Lake Okoboji area with a larger group or multiple related parties, check out our adjoining unit, nicknamed the Fieldhouse! The BPO Fieldhouse (sleeps 4-6) is completely updated and boasts 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room, full size kitchen, and an outdoor living space.

The Boathouse is a completely remodeled home offering many perks including views of Minnewashta Lake and an outdoor green space. The Boathouse is steps away from West Lake (1 min), City Park with Basketball Court (less than 1 min), Arnolds Park (2-3 min), Broadway Ave (Captain's, Axe Bar, Side Door, Nautical, Portside, Smokin Jake's, Lost Gar & Paddlefish, etc. less than 1 min), Central Emporium (3-4 min) and several options for shopping, eating and entertainment. You will not find a better home in a better location!

This home has been updated from floor to ceiling! The main floor features:
-2 bedrooms with queen beds (front bedroom has additional floor space for a cot or air mattress)
-Mudroom with bench seating and full size Washer/Dryer
-Living room with oversized couch, TV and dining room table
-Kitchen with eat in nook and full size black ss appliances including a fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher.
-Oversized bathroom featuring a 2 sink vanity and tub/shower combo.

Upstairs the beautiful footprint continues with all new updates including:
-Living space/Hallway with TV.
-2 bedrooms (The front bedroom has a queen bed with additional floor space for a cot or air mattress. The back bedroom has 2 full size beds and a twin bed).
-Amazing hand tiled shower and updated bathroom.

If you can pry yourself out of this beautiful home you will experience a back yard area with views of Minnewashta Lake. You can take in the views while lounging in the adirondack chairs by the firepit, sitting at the picnic table, or grilling dinner with our propane grill. Plenty of green space for yard games!

If you decide to get closer to the action of Broadway Street and Arnolds Park you can enjoy your time on the brand new deck that is great for soaking up the sun while drinking coffee in the morning, relaxing with a drink or just listening to the bands/music and enjoying the fireworks from Arnolds Park every weekend!

Boating Weekend

This is the perfect spot if you're coming to boat! The driveway is long enough for the trailer and truck, easy to back into and easy access to multiple public docks within 10 minutes. The house was clean, a well-stocked kitchen for cooking meals, and enough space for 9 of us to hangout after a long day on the water. Walking distance to Arnolds Park for coffee or the concerts. Really a perfect spot. We will be back next year!

Beautiful home, convenient location

The check in and check out instructions were very clear and simple to follow, which made for an easy stay! The home has new appliances and everything was clean and up to date, so it felt very comfortable and homey. As a bachelorette party, we had plenty of room and were able to enjoy each other's company in the awesome living area, which had a large sectional and plenty of other seating options for us to hang out and chat! Thank you to the great hosts for a memorable weekend!

Unbeatable Location

This is our 2nd time staying at The Boathouse. This is an annual trip to see family and there isn’t a better place to stay. The house is awesome. Very comfortable for multiple families. The location is amazing. 2 blocks from Arnold’s Park, the beach, Emporium and all the restaurants and bars on Broadway. Park your car and leave it you won’t need it. Larry and Mark are great. Super responsive with questions. We won’t stay anywhere else!

These are conveniently located to within walking distance to Arnold’s Park, Oak Hill Marina and beach areas. We rented both properties and it was plenty of space for our whole family. We had an issue with some tvs not working and the owners responded quickly to help with a fix. We would absolutely come back to these properties!

We loved your accommodations! The beds were comfortable! The location is fantastic- we walked almost everywhere we wanted to go. Plenty of room for all of us to sit around. We do want to let you know there were quite a few big ants in the bathrooms. Overall just wonderful!

4th @ Boji

The property is in a great location for all activities in Arnolds Park. A quaint house with generous bedrooms but not lots of group or gathering space. The kitchen had most of what was needed but we did have to reset a breaker for the oven to work. The back yard is a good size with simple chairs. The grill worked well. We were also able to comfortably park 3 cars on the premises. Overall I would request this property again.

The Boathouse is in the perfect location for groups looking to experience all Okoboji has to offer! Easily walk to the theme park, bars, restaurants and the beach. House was clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend and stay again!

The best location for large families and groups!

We loved staying at Mark’s property! It was clean and roomy for a group of 8 of us. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The living room couch was also large and perfect for us to all gather and catch up! Mark was extra accommodating by allowing us to check in 2 hours early. We enjoyed the outdoor picnic table and chairs. It was close to Arnold’s Park, The Emporium, great restaurants and bars. We are locals, but it was the perfect place for us to all meet up and be within walking distance to so many places! We will definitely stay again!

Family Get Away

The house provided a great place to gather with our kids. Very clean and updated. It was a short walk to the lake and the Arnold’s Park area. A short drive to other things we wanted to go to.
