Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall! Graber's Getaway on the St. Clair River is perfect for those looking for a peaceful retreat, family get together. Relax and let the water soothe you as you watch the freighters and pleasure craft cruise by.

We're ready for work from home guests. We will setup your office with a River view! Message for details.

This waterfront house with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms will wow you and your family. Super clean. Grab a cup of coffee and start your day watching the beautiful sunrise over the St Clair River. Everything you need to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner is in the fully stocked kitchen. Enjoy dinner inside or out on the back deck.

We're located near the Algonac State Park. You can walk or bike the 6.2 mile path to the state park or to town. Public boat launch just 5 minutes away. Cornhole fun! Bonfire!

Take a ride up the River Rd and explore all the little towns and their unique offerings. Live theatre in Marine City! Beautiful boardwalk in St Clair! Quiet beach in Marysville along with their 2.3 mile walkway along the river. Don't miss out on a Huron Lady II River cruise in Port Huron. Every town has wonderful restaurants and of course, ice cream.

Wonderful Weekend

We had such a nice weekend. The home is beautiful and spotless, and everything is there that you could possibly need. The best part was seeing the ships go by - even in the winter. We will definitely stay here again, but next time we’ll stay longer!

Lovely spot for a getaway

Great opportunity to view the passing Great Lakes freighters, as well as watch the birds gather on the river. This house is well set up, and has all those little extras that makes a stay easier. We cooked a lot and had everything we needed. Lots of towels, comfy afghans in the living room, ziplock bags in case you need those… just very thoughtfully outfitted. We enjoyed the local area too - Marine City is fun to poke around in.

Excellent and well kept vacation rental!

We stayed here for a week and the listing was everything advertised. Clean, well maintained home with all the basics supplied to make it feel like you never left your own home. Owner was very professional and not over-communicative. If you're looking for a vacation rental you won't be disappointed.

Lovely Stay!

The host of this property provided everything we needed, even thoughtful details like binoculars to watch the water traffic and flashlights in each nightstand. We enjoyed playing the board games which were provided, watching freighters, strolling on the neighborhood walking/biking path, and going to the nearby beach. I had some trouble with VRBO; this trip never showed up in my account, but the host made everything work seamlessly.

This is a beautiful home right on the river. Watching the freighters and cruise ships was the best! The home was very clean and well stocked with anything you might need. The hospitality of the owner was outstanding! We had a very comfortable and amazing stay.

Book it!

If you’re going to Algonac and are trying to find the “right” place, stop looking and book Graber’s Getaway. The house is spotless, it has everything you need for a short or long stay (well beyond the basics), and is ideally located on the St. Clair River. We stayed between Christmas and New Year and even in Algonac’s “off season” we had a great time.

An A+ Property and Experience!

Graber's Getaway was everything it promised to be! A splendid, exceptionally clean property with comfortable beds and all the amenities of home. The snacks, coffee and can "koozies" were a delightful and thoughtful touch. The view of the river (catch the sun rise!) and neighboring Canada from the comfort of a plush chair, while having morning coffee, was the epitome of relaxation. And the freighter traffic was an experience not to be missed: totally amazing! Thank you Tammi for sharing your wonderful home: wish we could have stayed longer!

Great View

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this property. The view of the river and watching the freighters go by was spectacular. The house was very clean, well stocked and Tammi was very responsive on my questions before we booked. My only comment for those towing a boat, backing in the driveway was doable but tight. You might check that out if you are bringing a boat. Having said that we would stay here again.

Wonder Property with a great views of the boats.

Our family rents a property each year for vacation. This was the best property we have stayed at by far. Tammi, was a great and helpful host. Tammi went above and beyond when it came to making sure the house has everything a guest would need.

Our stay was fantastic! The view of the river and watching the freighters go by was amazing. We had a group of 3 couples and there was plenty of room for everyone. Very nice property and location. The street was a little more busy than I thought it would be but I believe that was due to the holiday weekend. This property was a 10 out of 10. If you want to relax and regroup this home is perfect. My husband and I enjoyed the modern beautifully decorated home. The view. The view. Great Boatwatching Getaway

We booked a last minute vacation, to celebrate Easter as a Family. Tammi was very accommodating, and very quick to respond to my questions. The house was equally as beautiful as the photos. Everything we needed could be found, and we enjoyed the days watching the freighters and boats go buy, as well as the fishing from the dock. There were 3 couples and the house didn't feel crowded at all. Lots of room for us all, and the 1/2 bath on lower level was very convenient. We hope to be back soon, to enjoy another great stay at Graber's Getaway!
