Emmons Realty proudly presents this delightful low country cottage in the heart of the pristine East Beach and the historic Coast Guard station, featuring the renovated WWII Home Front Museum. Enjoy private beach access and a heated oceanfront swimming pool during Thanksgiving, Christmas weeks, and from March 15 to April 15. Pool heating is also available for a daily fee with advance notice.

Explore nearby dining, shopping, bike rentals, and local culture with a short walk or bike ride. This elevated cottage offers convenient amenities, including two parking spaces, a Char-Broil gas grill, and an outdoor shower. Relax on the spacious front porch, featuring a dining table and lounging chairs.

Inside, the bright two-story space offers a cozy coastal living area with a 50-inch TV and WiFi, a generous dining table, and a fully-equipped open kitchen. Two main floor bedrooms provide queen beds and ample storage, sharing a bathroom with a washer/dryer and step-in tub/shower.

Upstairs, the master suite boasts a king bed, seating area, private balcony, and an ensuite bathroom. Experience relaxation and comfort in this serene seaside escape. It doesn't get any better than this.

Includes Wireless Internet. Homes in this subdivision have ONLY 2 parking spaces.

Every one of our properties is furnished with a “starter kit” of supplies so that you don't have to run to the store at the start of your vacation.

To protect your vacation investment and avoid deposits lost to cancellation, Emmons Realty strongly recommends the purchase of Travel Insurance.

Deposit Policy:
$500 will be charged to your card at the time of reservation, a deposit which will be applied directly to your rental cost. The remainder will be charged automatically, 30 days prior to your arrival. If you’ve contacted us through Homeaway or VRBO, you will be responsible for their additional fees. Our online calendar is updated automatically, and all quotes are accurate and include all fees. No refunds will be granted for early departure.

Wonderful Retreat

Perfect house with a great location. The house is very well maintained and equipped. The house faces the marsh, with no houses across the street for a more peaceful experience. Short walk to the community pool and beach access point. The beach has a gentle slope to the water and there are 2 pools, one for adults and one for families. I highly recommend this house.

Nice home in cute area

Really enjoyed our stay in the house. There was a slight smell in the mornings, but I couldn't tell if that was the house or something outside, because as the day progressed, the smell went away. It was really clean, and just 5 minute walk to the pool and beach. I'd do it again.

Great Location Cute House

We loved this little 3/2 house and would rent it again. I especially enjoyed a very spacious front porch that has two seating areas. My only complaint is that there is no food storage cabinet or pantry (maybe the new owner intends to install something) so if you intend to cook - you’ll have to put non refrigerated goods on the counters. We loved the close access to the community pool and the beach.

The master bedroom is fantastic - very spacious! The two downstairs bedrooms are smaller, which worked for us as we had kids staying in them. Although technically this place holds 8 guests, I don’t think you’d want more than 6 adults/teens to keep it comfortable. We loved the location - quiet neighborhood, easy walk to the beach, and easy bike ride into town. The pool is also very nice and was a great perk. Would definitely stay here again.

Reviewer Comments: Emmons Realty and their staff are very pro-active and easy to reach for problems.Location of house great, only room for one car to park in front.Upon reaching the house, the yard and stairs full of tree debris, dirty porch area and chairs. Old mismatched cooking pots and pans. Beds mattresses were lumpy and mushy. I would suggest pulling house off rental market and have owner's do a deep clean and replace the mattresses.

Nice home - a few improvements would make it exceptional

Very nice townhome very close to pool and beach. The home has the essentials in the kitchen and bedrooms. A few critiques that would take this property to the next level: 1) The property only provides a couple rolls of toilet paper and paper towels, among other essentials. The cost of providing more is minimal, but would be helpful. 2) Have a few board games, puzzles or a deck of cards for families. The only entertainment in the home is the TV. 3) the pre arrival email recommend we bring beach towels. We checked an extra bag to bring our own. The home had beach towels. The manager should more clearly articulate what the home has. 4) The mattresses feel cheap and are uncomfortable. You can hear the springs creak as you move. Others have mentioned this, and it appeared to be addressed by the manager as a subjective critique. The mattresses are bad. Invest it better mattresses. 5) upstairs floors creak quite a bit, which is loud downstairs in the bedrooms. This woke our kids, who were sleeping in the smaller rooms downstairs. 6) I requested early check in via text, but didn’t get a response until after the check in time had passed. Other requests were responded to more quickly.

Reviewer Comments: We loved the house and location... very clean and well furnished, etc. However, one guest bedroom downstairs had a mattress that was so unbearable that it made it impossible to sleep with another person in the bed. If one person moved, then it shook the entire bed.. it was so bad one person had to sleep on the sofa every night. this was disappointing given the price we paid for the home. We hope this mattress or bed gets replaced ASAP.
