American Charm - Mountain Air Minutes From the Action

American Charm is only miles from Dollywood theme park and Dollywood's Splash Country water park, and just minutes away from other area attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. American Charm is a large, spacious five-bedroom cabin in Pigeon Forge. It sleeps 14 guests with 3 king beds, 2 queen beds, 2 queen sleeper sofas and 5 bathrooms. The large living areas offer comfortable seating and large flat screen TVs.

The space
The kitchen and dining areas are perfect for creating a tasty family meal to enjoy together. There is ample deck space with rocking chairs and a hot tub, and the whole family can enjoy the pool table on the lower level and arcade game in the upstairs loft. American Charm is an updated and well-appointed cabin nestled in the Arrowhead Resort. There are plenty of other cabins, however, this cabin has no neighboring cabin on one side and the back decks look out to trees. Guests have access to the community swimming pool and you will be just a few minutes from downtown Pigeon Forge.

The kitchen is well-appointed with everything you and your guests should need for a fun and relaxing stay in the mountains. Ceiling fans, smart TVs, clean linens and towels, comfortable couches and chairs, and a pool table, pub seating and multicade round out the experience. The two levels of rear decks and a front porch with rocking chairs mean you can pick your relaxation spot for morning coffee or the evening wind-down. Whether you're looking to be close to the action in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, or just ready to relax in the mountain air, American Charm has you covered.

There are 3 king bedrooms, 2 queen bedrooms (all with their own en suite bathrooms) and 2 queen sleeper sofas.

When you book with VRBO, it often can be a crap shoot whether the property is really as good as listed and are the hosts responsive if you need them to be. In both cases, this propefty is a big thumbs up. Great owners. Thank you for a great smooth trip.

Parents all stayed here and watched our girls at cap Ripken, was clean and spacious for our three sets of parents everyone had their own space and bathroom.

A Great Place!

This place is spacious, the seating on the porches was serene, it was clean, and we appreciated that each of the five bedrooms had its own en suite bathroom. It is close to the strip and there was room enough for 4 cars. I would recommend this place to family and friends!

American Charm

The location is fantastic and the layout of the cabin is great. However, one of the bedrooms on the lower level can't be used for sleeping because the bed is missing slats and the mattress sinks in the middle. Also, a kitchen cabinet door to the right of the stove will not stay shut.

Okay minor issues

It was nice accommodations overall. The dishwasher was not mounted securely . An few of the floor vents were loose. It dusty in areas and the hot tub needs to be throughly cleaned. An in the basement bedrooms the light bulbs need to be replaced in both bedrooms.

Nice place but problems.

The owner Paul was nice to deal with and seemed genuinely interested in our problems and did reimburse us for unforeseen ones. Hopefully he fired his housekeeping crew as they cleaned the house but that was it. They had not touched the three porches for weeks and when we requested that they be cleaned they only did two and then didn’t change the light bulbs that were burned out after saying they would. The cookware and dishes need to be checked by them because we had to rewash several of them as I’m sure the previous renters just did a quick wash and out the door. My suggestion to VRBO is to require owners to do a walk through in their own rentals to see what is wrong with the place or what is not being done. Several toilet paper holders were without the roll bar, a loose door knob that’s ready to fall apart, not enough controllers for the TVs (found one buried in the back of the couch), light bulbs out, etc. I realize that most of these things an owner should not have to worry about because they assume the house cleaning crew should take care of it but we all know what the word assume breaks down to. Another thing that VRBO should require is an emergency phone number where the owner can be reached or be able to text them or if the cabin is in a resort you can reach management. The community pool had a pipe burst and was draining the pool quite quickly. I could not get ahold of the owner and no number for anyone but another rental company who took care of it.

Winter Getaway

This property was perfect for our family. We wanted a few days away with our kids and their significant others while they were home from college. The floor plan was great because every bedroom has a bathroom, pool table on bottom floor and hot tub. The close proximity to Dollywood was also nice. We didn’t realize when booking that week is one of the busiest of the year but the large kitchen and dining area made it easy to pickup food and eat in some. Wonderful property!

Great experience!

The cabin was perfect for our family of 5 adults and 3 small children. Everything we needed was in the cabin and the location is close to everything! Would definitely return again!

American Charm

This property was perfect for a large family and was absolutely beautiful. It’s just minutes from the main strip in Pigeon Forge. The roads to the house are a one way and can be quite steep, but we had no issues! The owners were so great to work with and the check in was the easiest. Consider this for your next family vacation!

Great vacation cabin!!!

Our host, Mr Downing, was great! He replied promptly to our emails and was very helpful. He went out of his way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The cabin was very close to the parkway and easy to find. We enjoyed playing pool and relaxing in the hot tub. We just hate it had to end.

Clean, spacious and convenient

This cabin was fairly easy to locate.. very convenient to Pigeon Forge. Definitely not secluded and really no views.. but it was very clean (minus some cobwebs ) and spacious for our entire 14. Parking enough for 4 cars, but all in one line bc the drive is shared with the neighboring cabin. Not an issue, just need to plan accordingly. Remote #6 not functioning. We really enjoyed this place.

Nice cabin for the family…great host!

My family really enjoyed the cabin. It’s 3 levels so everyone felt like they had their own private space. Paul was great, he checked in to ensure our visit was good. He also worked promptly with us to resolve our questions/concerns.. Will definitely visit again…

The neighborhood is quiet, but not isolated, it's easy to get to and from all the attractions in the area, as well as hiking in the National Park. We chose this cabin because it was well-loved by its previous owners and we wanted to carry that tradition forward. American Charm is beautiful, clean and comfortable.
