Great Family Vacation

We had a great stay at this property. We were disappointed in quite a few things that were broken/dirty but Dave was very responsive during our stay and fixed most of the issues. The property is great and you can’t beat being right across the street from the beach! We will be back!

Great location…some issues with the TVs. Dave responded quickly and was able to change them out. Space is a bit smaller and more dated than expected, but enjoyed our stay and the pool a lot.

Amazing stay!

This home is perfect for a family beach vacation! It is clean with comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen. We loved having a private pool and covered space to eat in the shade during the day. Beach access is 👌👌👌! So close and not crowded at all. Definitely a perk having extra floats and beach chairs at the home. The kids loved the putting green! Dave was super responsive and helpful throughout the process. Truly a gem of a beach home!

Perfect friends trip

My group of friends since childhood stayed in this house for a week for our annual beach trip. There was a slight issue when we arrived that Dave resolved immediately. We had a great stay here with the beautiful outdoor area, the pool was great, and the location on Thomas drive is just what we wanted. We had a great time and memories made in this house & we plan to return next year!!

Nice Little Beach Vacation

We stayed here for a few days. It's a nice, little place that's only a few minute walk to the public beach access dock. The outside area is very nice with more than enough seating for everyone. Place came completely stocked with everything you need (towels, kitchen utensils, cookware, and more). Location is very convenient to grocery stores and restaurants as well.

Wonderful Property for Extended Family Vacation

We very much enjoyed our stay, the location was fabulous and away from the summertime Hussle and Bussle of Panama City Beach. Beach is less than a 2 minute walk and there are a couple of local bar/dining establishments also within a couple of minute walk

Cute beach house!!

We really enjoyed our stay! There were a few issues with appliances but Dave was super quick about fixing them. Only a short walk from the beach, well stocked, and fun pool! Nearby restaurants were great, too!

Family Vacation

We very much enjoyed our stay. There are a few things that would have made it somewhat better. There were not enough towels and washcloths. We had to do laundry twice a day in order for the entire family to shower. The house is a bit outdated. You have to enter through the master bedroom if you’re at the pool. If not, you have to walk around the front of the house. The Master Bedroom on the pool side stayed very hot. The doors to the bathroom don’t shut completely. The house is stocked well with all the cooking supplies you need. It’s a very easy short walk to the beach. The pool areas is nice but very small. There were some things that could be improved but overall it was a nice place to stay.

Sand Castle Too is a Gem!

Everything that we hoped for in a vacation home. Pool, outdoor shower, close to beach, firepit, awesome outdoor patio area. We enjoyed every element of this property and hated to leave. Dave is a very accommodating host as well. Even the pool guy "Spike" was worth the price of admission. If you see him during your stay, take the time to talk to him. He's a legend and can reccomend all kinds of good local spots.

Great Location!

We take a yearly trip to Florida to enjoy the beach and this year we're lucky to stay here. Overall the house was in good condition and was decorated nicely. The best part was the location. Even though it's not beach front, it's a 1-2 min walk away from beach access 18 which we were able to do easily with grand parents and 2 toddlers. The beach was not crowded even though there's a small inn right in front. The house was small and cozy and is on a corner lot, but the traffic was minimal which was good because the gate to the carport is a manual gate which means you'll need to get out of the car to open/close. The outdoor amenities were great with plenty of seating near the pool. The pool is a good size and the depth is around 3 feet near the steps to ~5 feet at the deepest. We couldn't figure out how to use the awning nor the lights, but still enjoyed the pool. There are also showers and a water hose which we used to wash off sand from the beach. 3 bathrooms which had hot showers. As for the interior, it was warm and inviting, but what kept it from being 5 stars was the fit and finish. Several of the interior doors didn't close as well as it should. There were also some shiplap on the ceiling that looked like they were going to fall so we notified the owner and hopefully that will get fixed for the next guests. The front door keypad worked 90% of the time. The code would be correct but wouldn't unlock so just had to try again. There are other smaller minor things not worth listing, but when you add it all up that's what keeps it from being excellent. Still a very good quiet house and would recommend it over the condo's down the street any day.
