Set in seven acres in the North Georgia Appalachian Mountains our ground floor spacious 2-bedroom apartment (we call The Burrow) is within a two-story cottage house on the edge of our secluded fishing pond on Crooked Creek. Just one mile from Chatuge Lake and ideally located between Young Harris, Hiawassee, GA and Hayesville, NC, The Burrow features a full kitchen, central heat/air, wifi, internet TV, outside pavilion, BBQ, fire pit, one vehicle parking with lots of overflow at main house.
The space
Ursula's English gardens, covered pathways, fruit trees, nurtured wild fauna, and three large murals adds to the natural enchantment of the flowing pond, sounds of waterfalls, and the abundance of wildlife our guests have enjoyed since 2012. Peaceful, spiritual, rejuvenating, and relaxing are but some of the enthusiastic comments from those who have stayed at Yewit Center. Whether you are seeking peace and quiet nestled in this splendid mountain local or taking advantage of the abundance of activities, restaurants, and events in the area your stay at Yewit Center will be as enchanting as it is refreshing .

We, Ursi & Keith, met while working on cruise ships in the Meditteranean. Our excursions on-shore let us experience some of the most extraordinary beauty the planet has to offer. It inspired us to have a place of our own that we could make into a little piece of paradise that we could share with others. From the babbling streams of Crooked Creek and abundant wildlife to Ursi's European-style gardens Yewit Center has become our dream come true and we'd like to share it with you.

Located about one mile from Lake Chatuge, Yewit Center is ideally situated between Hayesville, NC and Hiawassee, and Blairsville, GA. Access is easy off Crooked Creek Rd. without infringing on the privacy of this wonderful mountain getaway.
