Welcome to the "Lazy Bear Cabin" a great place to unwind and relax. Nice and cozy cabin in a perfect location to enjoy the lake and all of the activities that Deep Creek has to offer. This lake area cabin has all of the comforts of home and within a short drive to all of the main attractions. Enjoy a night by the fire pit with family and friends, dinner on the large porch, a game of poker, a round of darts, movie night, or a game of pool in the game room. The best part of the cabin is the location spend a night out in town and be home within a few minutes.

The first floor features an open floor concept, tastefully decorated bear theme with a very cozy living and dining area. The kitchen is fully stocked for all of your cooking and dining needs. The dining room can accommodate up to six guests.

The master bedroom is furnished with a king bed, electric fireplace, and a TV.

The "Bunk Room" is furnished with twin over full bunk beds and a TV.

The Guest room is furnished with a queen bed and a TV.

The basement area is where all of the fun happens. The game room features a pool table, dart board, bar area, poker table, foosball table, air hockey table, TV, and a party speaker.

Amazing rental

Loved the proximity to Wisp, and absolutely loved the games that the house included. Noel was very quick to respond with any questions we had. Would definitely rent this home again.

Great time at Lazy Bear Cabin!

We totally enjoyed our stay. The cabin was decorated nicely. We had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and it was close to everything. We will be back. And a deer visited us for 3 days.

Enjoyable experience

We really enjoyed our stay with our grandchildren. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Our experience was awesome. We were hoping to see a bear but maybe next time.

Great Location

This place was perfect, open concept in the living areas and a great basement for evening/night activities with kids or young adults. Pool table and card table were used every night. The location is close to a lot of activities but yet not right on the main street to hear noise etc...I will definitely be staying here again. My only issue was the master bedroom bed squeaks, I'm 225lbs so every move made a sound.

This was my first time in western MD, and I was not disappointed. The house was decorated toward the country culture and was very nice. Every thing was wonderful except for the bees all over the front porch. But would definitely come again. Thank you!

Nice property, if only the man across the street didn't make so much noise machine all day. Heads up on the porch umbrella there is a bee hive as well as in porch ceiling. Everything else was great. Thank you

Perfect stay!

This property couldn’t have been better. Exactly as advertised (note you do need to bring your own linens, I almost missed that!), comfy, well decorated, and fun. I got to teach my daughter to ski and play pool while there thanks to this home. It’s well located, close to everything you need. We’ll be back for sure!

First of all, Noel is an amazing hostess. She is quick to respond and very agreeable. Second of all, the house was more than we expected. It’s a beautiful, quaint log cabin that adds to the feel of being in the mountains. It feels very secluded especially the back of the house. The game room area is a very nice addition and we spent a lot of time down there just laughing and playing with good friends. We have no complaints about the property, the house, or the rental process. We will definitely be renting this house again. Thank you Noel!!

Top Notch! Best cabin experience!

This immaculate and endearing cabin was definitely a home away from home! Every detail was thought of to make this getaway no work. My son & I spent a decent amount of time at the cabin relaxing and hanging out in the game room. We also toured around town visiting the area state parks, B & O museum, shopping, pizza & ice cream. The location has a ton of activities very close by as well as a very nice fire pit with plenty of seating on the property. Noel was by far the best host I have dealt with in my many years of vacationing! Communication has been great! Immediate, pleasant and very helpful! I definitely plan to return with my entire family!

Mountain getaway

One of the best stays I’ve had! From the moment we walked in it was absolutely beautiful and smelled amazing. It was such a clean and welcoming place! We even got to see some amazing wildlife from the kitchen window. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star on the location was because of the driveway. It’s very accessible, but my boyfriend has a truck with of course wide wheels and it made it a little tricky turning around, but most people will not run into this problem! We definitely plan on coming back and staying here! It’s just minutes away from the lake but still secluded enough to have privacy.

Awesome host, Awesome cabin

My 2 sisters and i went for a long weekend and Noel did not disappoint! The cabin and decor was charming. Never saw a bear but be on the lookout! Although the cabin is not "lake front / view property it was close to everything. 5 minutes to almost anywhere. We visited the state park and went on a tour of the lake via Ray at High Mountain Sports. I would recommend this verses renting a pontoon boat. I would recommend this cabin to anyone! We enjoyed everything about Deep Creek. Thanks Noel!

The cabin was perfect for a getaway with kids. All the activities we wanted to do were within a few miles, the grocery store was about 3 miles away. We were able to use the porch and side of the house for outside activities after a day at WISP or the beach.

We first visited the Deep Creek area about 5 years ago and immediately fell in love with everything it has to offer. The "Lazy Bear Cabin" is a our retreat from work and the hustle and bustle of the City. The cabin is not only our retreat but a dream come true that took many years to come to reality.
