The Cabin was located in a secluded area with 2 other cabins. We stayed in the Indian cabin, and the Moose Cabin is very close in proximity, but it was empty, so it was ok.
There's a dirt/stone road leading to the cabin, which our Harley didn't like so much, but it was a beautiful drive there in Brookfield, so we didn't mind. There are really not stores around, so stop in Barre if you need to stock up.
The cabin is super cute, small but cozy. There is NO WIFI, so remember that if you book. I was able to ignore emails for 3 days; it was great! Mary, the owner, was very nice and responsive. I think they may live on the property somewhere, but we didn't meet her. The cabin is very clean, and the bed was amazingly comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the front porch in the rocking chairs, by the fire. You can walk up the dirt road, down to a field that has a beautiful, big pond with a wooden swing and a few small boats. It's a very quiet, secluded location, which was perfect for us.
We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to go back in the Fall.
