About this property

Secluded 2-BD cabin, tranquil mountain setting. Hot Tub Gazebo! Wood fireplace.

This beautiful log cabin sits completely secluded in a wonderfully refreshing mountain setting near a peaceful trickling creek. Take a dip in the hot tub with plenty of room for everyone in the awesome gazebo! Enjoy toasting s'mores on the crackling campfire while chatting with friends in the hot tub or your resident grill master manning the park style charcoal grill.
Sleep with the windows open and take in the natural white noise of the trickling creek in one of two private bedrooms (one with a King Bed and one with Queen Bed). Each bedroom comes with closet space and bedside lamps with buillt in USB chargers so everyone and everything is recharged for the days adventures! Creekside can sleep up to 4 and has central heating and A/C. The house features a newly renovated (2023) full bathroom with oversized tub/shower combo. Bad weather? Leave it behind under the covered porch furnished with seating for all. Take the fire inside to the beautiful wood burning stone fireplace (increasingly rare at red river gorge!) The fireplace stands as the centerpiece of the open kitchen and living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with a Refrigerator with filtered water dispenser and automatic ice maker, dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, air fryer, ice maker, coffee maker, and all of the kitchenware you need for a weekend getaway or an extended stay. A new washer and dryer are available for guest use! The living room features Brand New powered recliner leather sofa and lounge chair while using the high speed Wi-Fi or stream your favorite show on the flat screen Smart TV. There is also a DVD player. Road access is moderately easy and flat Pavement up to the last mile or so which becomes a gravel road to a flat spacious Gravel Driveway with plenty of room to park trailers!

Make Creekside Cabin home base for your next visit to Red River Gorge!

* Satellite W-Fi signal can be unreliable in bad weather and cell phone signal is poor by the cabin so please plan accordingly. A short walk from the cabin guests have reported phone signal reception does improve *

Sorry, No Pets or indoor smoking Allowed. Smoking permitted outside but please dispose of butts properly.

Be conscious of area wildlife. Copperhead snakes have been known to sunbathe by the creek during summer and fall months. While they are docile, they may strike if stepped on or alarmed.

Nice little property

Nicer cabin than the pictures portray, I loved the high beamed ceilings and all the wood from top to bottom.WiFi was very helpful, had to look up fireplace damper instructions because the printed instructions in the booklet appear to refer to another cabin with different kind of flue. I’m thankful Google solved it! It would have been great to have firewood provided, and a lighter.Comfortable beds. Had to slide the king bed over to allow access from both sides, we replaced it in original position before leaving. The road to get there is a little scary, 1 lane wide and winding, potholes in the gravel part but that was hinted at in the listing. Pretty close to town in actuality, although it felt very far out.

Nice

Nice cabin, nice area.. really enjoyed hiking here. The only thing is the mirror in the bathroom- can’t do hair or makeup., we traveled alone so we used both bedrooms and one has a mirror. If you were staying with another couple, one would be without a makeup/hair mirror at all.

3 day break

to all, we had some difficulty in finding the cabin since we were 2 states over, but the lady at the number i assume was host was wonderful trying to direct us, the Wi fi in areas made it difficult for some communicating. the cabin was as described all though i never could find a guest book that was asked to please review our stay with. It was quiet. Maybe a total of 3 people coming down the street each day, I'm assuming other cabin dwellers. The rooster crowed and it was an inviting sound. the problems I did incur were, the grill was very small but worked. the toilet seat was a little loose, the vanity mirror in the rest room was to high. women need mirrors for hair, makeup and the shower was i have to say the worst. It didn't have enough water pressure. I know being from a well but we had a well before and much better. Perhaps the shower fixture needs to be up graded? the steps may need to be replaced next year the wood is looking bad. on our last day though we did have to look at repairmen working on line in front of cabin. so the privacy was limited. overall. nice and clean. ps.. also, when temps are over 90s leaving the air at 74 is not a vacation.

Amazing company to do business with . We were able to obtain the cabin before our alloted schedule and the lady was very helpful and made it possible. The cabin itself was prefect and the location was amazing.
