Great time, house was great. Owner provided everything we needed. Would stay again, Arrowhead Lake is a hidden gem, first time in the Poconos after 30 plus years at the Jersey Shore.
This house is wonderful and everything that was advertised. We were able to get to Jack Frost Mountain in 15 minutes, and enjoyed plenty of space for our family with three children for our three day stay. We were disappointed that the hot tub advertised with the property ended up not being available to us after the first night. A circuit breaker blew overnight on the first night and while we were able to reset it, the hot tub never got over 90 again and so we weren’t able to use it. It was such a short stay, we were unable to alert the property owner to the issue because we kept thinking the heat would be back to normal within a few hours, I am sure they would have remedied this if they had known. Otherwise, it was a fun stay, ping-pong, foosball, arcade games, PS3, literally everything my kids could have hoped for. Very comfortable!
The house was honestly gorgeous, well kept, and the owner kept a lot to do! Tvs, games, fire pit, jacuzzi. There's a lot to do even if it rains! The only aspect is they show pictures of the lake but the lake is about a 5-7 minute drive. Overall, it's a really good place.
Our stay was fantastic! The house is very comfortable, clean , organized! Amanda couldn’t be better at communicating with us . Community is great for lots of walking . Plenty of playgrounds, three community pools and four beaches . We loved our quiet evenings using the private jacuzzi and having drinks by the fire pit .
All in all it was great vacation from check in, which was a breeze, to check out. Property was in a great location and had everything we needed. Pools and beaches were about a 5 minute drive and unfortunately when we were there the beach water was closed to swim in due to E.coli in the water is what I was told. I'm not much of an outdoors in the woods kind of girl, so the only downside for me was all the bugs at night and lots of spiderwebs outside the house...lol. Other than that we had a great family vacation!! Thank you Amanda!!
We thought the space worked really well. My only compliant was that they didnt supply linens or towel. That could be fine if I lived on the East Coast but pretty dysfunctional if I am getting off the plan and driving to this location. I dont travel with Towels and linens. Mel
From the minute we walked in, the house had an overall beautiful presence. Immaculately clean fully stocked kitchen and very thoughtful snacks and other necessities if you needed them. The Jacuzzi was beautiful the fire pit was amazing. Just an overall great experience and dealing with the owner was wonderful, she was very responsive and I cannot say enough good things about our experience!
This was the perfect little getaway for our family. The amenities in the community we’re amazing. So many things to do for all ages. The property itself was so clean and had everything we needed. I really appreciated all the children/baby equipment so we didn’t have to bring our own (high chair, pack and play, etc). The hot tub was an added bonus, especially after a long day of hiking. We definitely hope to be back.
