Welcome to Islandview Beach House, a three bedroom, two bath retreat located just steps from the sand in the charming Hollywood Beach community, nestled halfway between Malibu and Santa Barbara.

This is a place for families and friends to gather, enjoy the wide-open, uncrowded beaches, hike through the sand dunes, and finish the day with a barbecue on the rooftop deck.

Beautiful house on the beach

We had a wonderful family vacation. The house was clean, spacious for family of 6. House had everything we needed. Close to beach and marina. Great location.

Amenities Galore

We stayed at the property for three nights. The host was gracious, responsive and the house had many amenities for us and our children to enjoy including bikes, ping pong, a bbq and TVs. The house is in pristine condition and is very close to the beach and activities/restaurants at the harbor.

Perfect!

We had a great experience staying here! The house is super cute and cozy with a perfect location right next to the beach as well as the marina. The hosts thought of everything and provided all the necessities as well as some extras such as a big bowl of fruit and access to bikes and beach chairs. The house was very clean and I would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Hollywood Beach.

Great for friends and family!

We were getting together with some family friends who were staying just blocks away. The location of the house made it so easy for us to go between homes, to the marina, to the ocean. Everything was in walking/biking distance. The home was beautifully decorated with all of the amenities we needed in the kitchen and in the bathroom. The garage included a ping pong table, bikes, chair, sand toys, everything! The highlight was the rooftop patio with a large couch and seating area to accommodate our friend group. We had a great time staying here. We will definitely be back!

Our second time back- lovely!

We love this beach house! My family stayed here last summer and returned for another week this summer. The location is excellent-- we loved being so close to the beach and the harbor. The views out the front window are great. You look left and can see the sand and the ocean. Look right and you see the harbor. Our kids (2 and 4) had a great time. Not only is the space beautifully decorated, the hosts have everything you need that you might have forgotten, plus some treats. We are hoping to extend our stay next year for longer! Thank you, Bob, Jennifer, and Adriana!

Fantastic home in a great location!

We live in Colorado and were looking for a low key beach vacation — the house and location totally delivered! The furnishings and decor were perfect and it was fantastic to be so close to the beach (steps away from the front door). Also, the kitchen was well stocked, which is not always the case in rental homes. Two more things stood out: Adriana, the property manager was SUPER helpful and kind, and the welcome basket of fruit, drinks, chocolates, and more was much appreciated. HIGHLY recommend this lovely home!

Beautiful Beach House

A perfectly well-appointed house nestled between the marina and the beach, this home has everything great going for it. With access to the beach a couple minutes from the property, our family spent every evening strolling down it after a fun day in town or the nearby Channel Islands. Overall, an excellent place to stay while exploring the sights and eats of the town, made all the more memorable due to the care the property manager took to welcome us with a scrumptious fresh fruit and snacks hamper and checking in on us periodically. Thank you!

Fun Beach House

Really enjoyed the stay here. Property managers very proactive and responsive, even left housewarming beverages, cookies and fruits. House is super close to the beach, very clean. Beds very comfortable, lots of pillows, nice towels. Lovely rooftop deck. Enjoyed the bikes, ping pong, and movies. Beach chairs and beach umbrellas in garage too. Close to marina and kayak rental. About 20 minutes to the Channel Islands National Park boat.

Fantastic Stay

Our best stay ever with a vacation rental. Unit is just as advertised. Right by the beach - literally. High quality furnishing, appliances, bedding, etc. Bob and Adriana were amazing hosts. They had stocked the kitchen with goodies for our family. Never have seen that before. Attention to detail and cleanliness is top notch. We will be coming back. Our entire family had a great time.

One of the best…

…properties we’ve stayed at. The welcome basket of fruits and flowers (and most especially the New Year’s party favors) were incredibly thoughtful - in addition to the generously stocked provisions! And when there was a non-functioning electrical outlet, the response was immediate; it was fixed within a matter of hours. We would recommend Island View Beach House, even when it’s too chilly for beach fun; it’s a comfortable, aesthetically pleasing retreat. Great location, with the ocean to one side and the harbor to the other - just a quick walk to either.

Fabulous beach house

What a wonderful house!! I have stayed at many VRBO properties, and they have thought of every detail at this house to make your stay feel like home! They even had a fruit basket, snacks and beautiful flowers on the kitchen counter for us to enjoy while we were there. It is the perfect location, just steps from the beach. The beds and bedding are so comfortable in all the bedrooms. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need to stay in and cook. The property management were very responsive to anything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better house to enjoy our sisters trip by the beach! We hope to return someday!

Perfect location!

We had a wonderful stay at the Islandview Beach House, and we are already planning to book again for next summer! We really enjoyed the location of the property. From the front door to the ocean was a less than 10 minute walk. With young children (1 and 3), it was so convenient to be so close to the beach. I loved the view of the ocean from the dining table, couch, and front balcony. Hollywood Beach was not crowded at all our whole stay, which made it feel almost like a private beach. The beach house itself was very clean and well-decorated.The rooftop patio was amazing as well. The property manager provided us with a pack and play, high chair, and baby gates for the stairs. They were so generous and left a basket of fresh fruit and snacks as well. I also appreciated the wipes they provided for removing beach tar. If you are considering this rental, don’t hesitate. You will love your stay!

Summer stay in September

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay here! We came with our little fam (mom, dad & babe under 2) and some friends and everything was perfect! The house had EVERYTHING we needed and they even had a welcome fruit basket and snacks (+wine!) for us upon our arrival, and trust me, it just got better from there. The walk to the beach was about 10 - 15 steps max (literally) and the views were amazing. We were nestled on a quiet little road and the whole neighborhood was the sweetest (so we’re all the people in town!). We walked the harbor everyday (loved the seals) and went to the beach every afternoon. The house had more than enough beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and toys for our whole group. Like I said, everything was perfect. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we will be back! Thanks again! Jamie and family

This property really met all of our expectations. They left the sweetest welcome set up. It’s a great property to take your family with plenty of beds, the bedroom downstairs was perfect for our elderly parents, helped them stay off the stairs except when we were gathering together. They have baby gates to keep the kids safe from the stairwell, lots of fun games and outdoor activities. We really enjoyed the ping pong and out door toys. I will say just 1 note I think there is water damage in the cabinets to the right of the microwave. There was a heavy smell of mold in that area and we had to hand wash every dish from that cabinet before eating tk be safe. The property manager was very helpful and responsive and committed to letting the owners know and having the issue resolved. Thank you so much ♥️

Just like a 5 star resort!

This was by far one of the nicest listings we've ever stayed in. This was not your typical place where the furnishings seemed to be the outdated well worn ones from the past. Everything was top notch. The furniture, art, bedding, televisions, all the wonderful amenities they provided. The roof top deck was beautiful and a great place to hang out. The kitchen was fully stocked, plus there was extra yummy gifts for us when we arrived. The place was immaculate and the owners made us feel so welcomed. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. We will be back!

Our favorite vbro rental

Great location! We have stayed at this house at Thanksgiving two years in a row. Absolutely the best vbro we have stayed in. They leave the most loveliest fruit basket every time with plenty of extras too in the kitchen. Also super clean & comfortable. Tons of beach stuff to use & my kids especially love having ping pong tournaments. Great place to make memories.

Everything you need to relax

This is a beautiful home with everything you need for a relaxing fun time. Two houses to the beach, bikes, games, beach towels and gear, bbq, and a wonderful roof deck. House stocked with all that you needed. The ‘welcome’ was unbelievable.

Beautiful Beach House

Our family loved this beach house! It is steps away from the beach entrance, for not being on the sand it feels and looks like it practically is. We were greeted with a basket of fresh fruit and they even prepared snacks and drinks for our young children to enjoy our stay. We communicated easily with the house manager who responded within minutes. The house everything you need for adults and young kids including stair gates and a high chair. The home was pristine and the roof deck was extremely enjoyable. We can’t wait to come back!
